Description of Work: Ryan Lawn and Tree helped save one of our trees with a timely fertilization. They also came out to give us free advice and a free estimate regarding other diseased trees. However, due their price, we did not have them cut down our black walnut tree and remove it. We went with a company that offered a better price.

Description of Work: They have been doing my yard for a few years now. I tried to do it on my own for 7 years and it never looked good. They have been doing it a few years now and it looks great. It did take a few years for it to come in like I wanted, but they have got it looking great.

Description of Work: We have been using Ryan Lawn and Landscape for about four years. We switched to them out of desperation to find a good, solid lawn company who would help to save our lawn. The other company that we used had been giving us very poor service; we had been their customers for about 30 years. We saw the Ryan sign in several yards in our neighborhood and decided to give them a call. We were very impressed with the young man initially assigned to our area and decided to sign up for their program; this young man, Wes Kleffner, was clean cut. very polite, and spoke knowledgeably about our yard and what we needed to do to rejuvenate it.When we found out that he was not just a salesman for the company, but rather the person who would also perform our yard maintenance program, we were encouraged. We figured if accounts under his watch didn't do well, he'd have to take responsibility for it. And naturally, he would want to give us good service. We liked the fact that Ryan does not insist on locking a customer into a set series of treatments. They will tailor make your account to however many lawn treatments you want; thus, if you can only afford to do three treatments, you can pick which ones you want. If you want the whole shebang, you can do that, too. We're happy that our yard bounced back; of course, it did cost us more money to save it, but now that it is healthy again, the money was well worth it. The old adage is right: you get what you pay for. It also pleases us to report that several of our neighbors, upon seeing how well our yard responded to their service have started to use this company. Since using them for our lawn treatments, we have moved on to doing business with their tree service. We found their prices much more reasonable than the company we used to use. Most recently, after our heavy wet snow of late February, we discovered limbs had broken off our front yard Maple, our dogwood and a large branch of a river birch.We called them on a Monday to report the damage and to ask them to remove the branches whenever they had the time. The NEXT DAY someone came out to give us an estimate and within a week, the work was completed to our satisfaction. Now I would love for them to get into the landscaping business. I think that Ryan Lawn is an excellent company--they take pride in their work and give great service for a fair price.

They trim trees for us annually and have removed larger trees for us in the past, too.

Description of Work: They treated the oak trees that we have in the front. They injected the trees with iron because the trees had a disease where it can’t enough iron out of the clay soil. They also do regular lawn and yard work.
