Description of Work: He was supposed to repair my computer so that hackers wouldn't be able to get into it any more. I didn't know if it was encrypted and I told him that they must have encrypted it or something.

Description of Work: PCPC, Victor Eisenstein, has performed services for me on many occasions. He's retrieved information and photos from a dead disk drive, installed new software and taught me how to use it, has done initial setup on two desktops and three laptops for me, to mention only a few. He's also done troubleshooting on at least two printers, and he's made valuable recommendations on cost-effective purchasing when I bought new hardware. I spend about 10 hours a day six days a week on my computers, and Victor keeps them humming. He's installed maintenance software and protective software on both my desktop and laptop. He's very professional, but also friendly, and he has a great sense of humor. He's taught me upgrades on older software, ensures by calling every once in awhile that everything is running smoothly. Since I've used his service now for over five years, he knows my hardware and software so well that I can get a reduced rate by allowing him to do troubleshooting over the phone. If that doesn't work, he comes to my home promptly. I haven't had a problem yet that he can't solve. I rely on his honesty and straightforward way of doing business to keep me in business. He doesn't work on Macs -- he's a certified Windows technician -- but he does his best to promptly service my equipment at the lowest price possible.
