PACK RAT

I moved from Texas to Kansas. When they arrived in Kansas, they dropped the container at the wrong spot inspite of me telling the driver not to place it there. He literally did not listen and ignored me....very disappointed on where it was dropped. I should have gone with UBox from UHaul. They have small containers and people are transparent to work with. With PackRat, I was promised something and delivered something else. First off it was not even my problem that they were not able to deliver the container at the location they promised, but then they were not willing to work with me to correct the mistake they committed. Very inconsiderate of their customers. I would always go with Uhaul from now and recommend others to do so as well. My container number was HD61596

The service was fine, the staff seemed to have a little problem keeping their records straight, but other than that, the actual move went fine. They were prompt, and they left the area the way it was. I would tell people to look into them if they wanted to move something long distance, rather than have a uhaul or have movers move you.

The customer service agent Mike was wonderful! They answered all questions and we right on time. Highly recommend them.

We scheduled an expedited delivery of our storage unit on 7/11/13 and packrat said they could get it to us on 7/13 which was great. We waited until 4:30 with no show so we decided to call and make sure they were still coming. The person said they would be there before 7pm. They never showed up. Finally, on Monday the truck showed up. The driver gave us a sorry excuse saying their only truck broke down...the person at the office said KC is one of the busiest areas so you would think they would have more trucks. We tried to contact them for a week with no response to tell them about our dissatisfaction. 3 weeks later, we tried to schedule for a pick up and move with no response. Finally, after we shut our card off so they couldn't charge us again they called us. The inconvenience they caused for our family is absolutely unacceptable. We were trying to move,renovate, and get ready to have a baby who is now here. Packrat is more of a hassle for a service based on convenience.

They bring the unit, come pick it up, drop it off and when you're finished unpacking they come pick it up again. The people are very nice and there was a situation where they were going to be a little late and gave us discount.

Price is for first month.
