Description of Work: Owen homes finished our basement for us. They predicted a 5 week timeline and were done in exactly that amount of time. We worked closely with Matt who was very responsive to all our questions and concerns. He really listened to us and worked with us to stay in budget and still get all the features we wanted.

+ 10 moreWe renovated our upstairs from 3 bedroom 1 bath to 2 suites and then renovated the kitchen and added a 4 season room. First, Matt came in and work closely with us to determine the best configuration for both our projects and gave us detailed drawings. This took several months and Matt was always communicating. We agreed to pricing and what his team was doing and what we were doing (as we were doing most of the demo and finish work upstairs and demo downstairs). We worked with Matt and his team for 6 months total between the two renovations. As with any project this size and length there is always something that hits you wrong. The mudders were not the neatest, however, when I called Matt he was quick to respond and worked hard to rectify the situation. Overall, we have been very pleased with the quality of work. His tile guy is AWESOME! and did some really cool stuff for our showers and kitchen backsplash. He showed us lots of options for cabinets as we originally planned on hickory, however, he gave us great advice and we wound up with knotty alder. It was definitely the right move. Matt is very knowledgeable and is able to determine great options based on spend. His insight was invaluable during the project!!
Description of Work: Upstairs we knocked out walls, added walls, added 1 full bathroom and changed the other to have pocket doors into the bedroom. in the existing bath, we gutted it and added new shower, closet and fixtures. In the new guest suite, we removed the closet walls and adjoined it to the 3rd bedroom (which was split into the 2nd bedroom and the new bathroom) Downstairs we gutted the kitchen, removed a wall to the outside deck and added a 4 season room with sliding door panels. This room had vaulted ceilings and a heated floor. He was able to contact with a local company that build entries for grocery stores to custom build glass wall and door panels for our project. In the kitchen we added all new cabinets, countertops, appliances, backsplashes and lighting. We also had all of our hardwood floors stripped and refinished.
