She charged $50 an hour, and that is the standard rate. She was very well organized, and mystical in a good way. She was a steady worker, got the work done, and stuck with the job. She was just great with organizing. She was able to see how things should be organized, so much better than I could because that's her job. She was able to suggest me to remove few things here and there. She left me with things, which were very visually clear to find. She had the professional label.
Description of Work: OrganizeME organized our garage and basement about a month ago. They arranged the tool area, the automotive section, and the gardening shelf.

Mary Ellen with OrganizeME was fantastic! She was responsive, professional and thorough. Our basement was an undesirable place for me to spend any time. After Mary Ellen stepped in and helped us organize the space (she even helped us select shelving!), I enjoy going to the basement to do laundry, grab tools and have even done yoga in the "new" space. We were considering a basement remodel, and learned from her expertise and experience that it wouldn't be the best use of our money based on how infrequently we used the space. We saved money and time and now have a functional, utilitarian and useful basement.
Description of Work: Mary Ellen performed an initial consultation/evaluation of our basement. She provided a vision and set goals with us that helped us create a functional space without a huge investment of time or money (ie: new carpet/painting/remodel, etc.). She helped us recycle and repurpose items we had; sorted through items with us; took trunk loads of unwanted electronics/tools/files, etc. away for donation!!; assisted in shopping for new shelving(saving us money!); helped us install the shelving; plus so much more..... She made an undesirable project fun and productive.

We initially did goal-identification, then worked together -- hands-on (my choice) -- for several sessions. Each time, I got to reflect on and prepare my thoughts toward the next phase. Mary Ellen also made sure that donation items got donated. Same goes for resolving where to go with items to be recycled or discarded altogether. The most important part of the whole package to me was Mary Ellen's considerable flair for quickly identifying -- with and for me -- the RIGHT MIX of items to keep (and how to situate and have handy access to them). All without rushing or overwhelming or creating discomfort. How very clarifying, when one get to enjoy living with the results!
Description of Work: Rather than just a haul-away or straighten-up service, I wanted real EXPERTISE in how to professionally organize my kitchen (to actually do so far better that I'd o do myself). Mary Ellen proved to be the perfect choice -- excellent listening, greatly experience, ultra good taste / ideas, an energizing sense of urgency and so very conscientious. Lots of revealing, well-placed questions. An invaluable experience. The project wound up exceeding my expectations! I'm left with a roomy, convenient, practical space which continues to provide a refreshing, highly pleasant place to prepare meals. I could not be more delighted!
