Metro Home Rehab

Whatever you do, don't hire Cory Richards owner of Metro Home Rehab. I hired Cory to build a deck and to paint the trim on my home. My experience with his work ethic on my home remodeling project has been extremely stressful. He misrepresented himself and his business as an approved business with Home Advisor and Angie’s List. I have recently learned directly from Home Advisor that Metro Rehab Home isn’t an approved Home Advisor business and hasn’t been since October 2019. This affiliation was the main reason I decided to contract with him. Mr. Richards has proven his business character to be untrustworthy. He has not honored his contract. His bid on my home remodeling project was lower than other contractors. I have come to realize this was initially to win the contract. As the project progressed, I realized the bid was completed without a thorough assessment of the project’s needs and costs. Because of his oversight and negligence, I ended up having to pay more money for the project just to get it completed. Once completed, he has been unresponsive to my concerns, such as needing to repair loose and splitting boards on the deck. Repainting garage doors and trim to remove a brownish color that is bleeding through the wood because it was not properly treated before it was painted. This includes new wood that was replaced and then painted. And paying for the costs to repair my air conditioner due to deck stain and saw dust particles that was inside the unit itself. Based on my experience with Metro Home Rehab, I believe this company should also be removed from Angie’s List as an approved business as well.
