 + -1 moreI contacted Bill Bologna of Lawn Pro Sprinkler to repair a leaking sprinkler system. Shame on me for not asking upfront the hourly rate for repairs. Bill shows up at 1:38 and is "done" by 2:35. He replaced some PVC going into the back flow. He told me to give the PVC connections several hours to cure before I turned the system back on. He didn't check the system for leaks before he left the job. He charged me $225 for less than one hour of work and about $10 (generous) PVC. I indicated I thought $225 was excessive and he indicated his price was "by the job". The next day I turned the system on and it still leaked. He couldn't make it out that day, but said he would be by the following day. The day he was supposed to return, he contacted me indicated he wasn't able to come, it would be the next day... When he does show, he says the leak is with another part of the system, interestingly enough right next the his PVC repair, and that it is not covered by the same "job". Avoid using this company.
