Terry Steinert - owner - estimated $400 to remove my kitchen wallpaper. We talked about all that was to be done. I thought I understood. His helper came on 11/19/20 to do the work. She pulled the paper off with some scraping, in less than 2 hours then said she was done! I argued that it was not done, the paste was still on the wall! Some of the wallpaper was even left on the wall. I asked if $200 an hour is fair for what little she did. She said 'That is what we get.' Other wallpaper workers removed the paste as well, then sanded, and sealed the walls with a clear sealer. Any mud work was extra of course. That is what I expected. Clean walls. But no mud work included of course. She said that is what their rate was for what little she did. She said the painters do all the rest! Three subsequent painters who I asked said no, they do not do that usually. They would never leave a customer in such bad shape as my kitchen was. And a 2 foot spot with paper still there! Do not hire this company unless you can afford to pay $200 per hour for one person to do a partial job. I have hired another wallpaper guy to finish their job.
