Description of Work: I used the Kryger drive-in location at 75th & Metcalf. They filled a small star/chip in windshield of my Explorer. The receptionist was very anxious to close up, as I was the last appointment, and was not nice or welcoming at all! The gentleman who actually fixed my windshield was very nice but the quality of repair was poor and spot was still very visible when work was completed. When I drove into bay, there was a significant amount of broken glass all over the floor and I was hesitant to drive on it. The bay's should be swept between repairs. The waiting area was very dirty and, quite frankly, gross. Nothing had been dusted, cleaned, or vacuumed in a very long time. For being a "glass" business, their windows hadn't seen a cleaning in several months, if not years. Overall, the repair to my vehicle was sub-par and overpriced, although the technician was very nice. My visit was some time ago but I hope they have a new receptionist by now and I hope they have cleaned by now.

+ -1 moreNo one contacted me and when I called they didn't know what Iwas talking about. I did make the appointment and my husband took our car in for repair. But he called me because they apparently have very few contacts with Angies List and couldn't tell it had been paid. After much discussion, one of their managers in Kansas City said they would get it figured out. Work was done quickly and repair was ggreat.

+ -1 moreFirst, they set me up for an appointment at their facility because it was too cold outside to remove and reinstall the windshield. I showed up on time, but the tech who was supposed to do the work did not show up on time for work that morning. Then they said they would do it at my place of employment later in the day. I questioned doing it outside due to the extremely cold temperature because they previously said the work had to be done inside. However, despite what they told me earlier, they insisted it would be fine. The tech did the work at my place of employment later that day. When I drove my car home from work, I could hear the sound of outside air and could feel the air. It was obvious that the windshield glass wasn't properly seated and the gap between my dash and the windshield was very large. I called and complained. A day or two later, a manager came to my place of employment, and acknowledged the poor workmanship. He replaced the windshield (it was warmer that day), and the work was fine. Athough I ended up with a decently installed windshield, they never should have attempted to install it on a day that was too cold.

+ 0 moreVery courteous. Did an excellent job cutting to exactly the right size. Made nice smooth edges that aren't dangerous to hold, disposed of excess for me, and returned pieces I wanted much cleaner that it was when I dropped it off.
Description of Work: Cut a large old mirror into 2 smaller mirrors--4 cuts in all, $10/cut.

+ 0 moreWe have used Kryger glass for years and have always been pleased with everything. This time we got a quick appointment, service was quick, and reasonable. When we drove home the window won't roll down from the driver side. We called the manager who was great and said bring it back in the next day and the techs will look at it. My wife brought it back and they said it was like that when we brought it in. Wrong. They said it was a manufacture problem and they wouldn't look at it. It was all very odd and we won't be back.
