Description of Work: Repaired 4 holes in fiberglass, removing a diy attempt and refinished to approximate the tub color. This is a better look than it was before. Not sure if this is the way to go long term, but it does look better than it did and it is water tight. Pat is very responsive and will discuss options prior to start of work.

+ 0 moreOn two occasions, I called for repairs to a cracked fiberglass shower. First was to repair a sidewall that had a crack. Second occasion was to reinforce, repair cracks and refinish a shower floor. Work was completed on the two calls. I am very pleased with the professional manner in which they worked and the product is like new. I recommend this firm without reservation.

+ -1 more.Do not beleive the companes that tell you a complete refinish is necessary.
Description of Work: I had to tear out a failed tile tub surround. It was the builder's tile on sheetrock that always fails but that is nother story. I did not protect the Americast tub good enough and falling tile chipped it in 2 places. At first I thought I was going to have to replace the tub also. I called other repair companies and was told that a complete refinish was necessary. That costs about as much as replacing the tub. Finally I got hold of KC Fiberglass repair. They repaired the 2 chips and you can not find them now. Thanks for saving my tub.

Description of Work: Fixed a crack/hole in my fiberglass bathtub. He did an expert job. in less than an hour, he plugged the hole, fixed the fiberglass and put a matching color sealer on the former hole. It took about 24 hours to dry and the color almost completely matched that of the tub. The tub is about 10 years old. If I did not know there was a hole in the tub I would not be able to tell it was there. He told me upfront that the cost was $125.00.

+ -1 morePat did a great job and saved me around $400 over a complete refinish. PS. I am installing solid surface Swanstone sheets (form Home Depot) over concrete backer board. This tub surround will not leak and the whole thing will look like new including the tub.
Description of Work: I had to tear out my 10 year old failed tile tub surround. Tile over green board sheet rock does not last TRUST ME. Black mold was in the walls. I did not realize how rotten the wet wheetrock was at first and I did not have the Americast tub adequately protected. Some broken tile fell onto the tub causing 2 chips about the size of a penny. I contacted another tub refinisher who suggested that they probably could not match the color and would have to refinish the whole tub at a cost of over $500. I am glad to find Pat at KC fiberglass repair. Pat repaired the chips and the color matches perfectly. I know where the chips were and I can not see them now.

+ -1 moreWhen we bought our house, we removed the shower doors that the previous owners had installed on the bathtub. This left six holes where the shower door frame had been attached to the fiberglass enclosure. Pat repaired the holes and refinished the surface so well that you can't tell there were ever holes there.
Description of Work: Plugged and refinished six screw holes in a bathtub/shower enclosure.
