Jose's Lawn Care Service

We are extremely please with the fence Jose and crew built for us. Their attention to detail was very impressive. They built the fence in two days, removing the old fence and sinking the posts the first day and building the new fence the following day. Jose is professional and hardworking. I would hire him again for sure.

I talked to him initially and then I sent him a text twice. He never got a hold of me.

I used Jose's Lawn Service for about six weeks while my usual lawn lady was recovering from surgery. Jose and his crew were extremely nice to work with. They were very fast and showed up when they were supposed to each time I asked them to come. I am awarding them an overall B grade because they use commercial mowers for their jobs, and the blades could not be lowered far enough to cut my lawn as closely as I desired.

Called and texted several time and never received a response or quote. Jose is unreliable I would not recommend his service to anyone.

My experience with Jose and his crew has been nothing but wonderful. They do a great job and are very professional. If we need him to do anything extra like clean our gutters, we just have to send him a text. His pricing is fair. Very pleased with this service!

As I said, they have been doing my yard for two seasons now and I am quite pleased with the work they do. In the spring, Jose has a crew do a massive clean-up of my back yard. They mow my yard weekly and the vacant lot every other week. This includes trimming and blowing. I will continue to use this service. The price for mowing my yard is $65.00 per week. The price for the vacant lot is $35 per mowing.

He suppose to trim my grass every other week. However, I have to call him 3-4 week after first cut because my service was not on his calendar for some reason. Then he decided to trim my lawn every week despite I kept text him & asked for every other week. I paid him according to the number he billed me, then stop using his service.

We have been using the vendor now for 14 weeks. We have found the work inconsistent, the communication unreliable. You MUST get any service quote in writing from him because all three bids we got from him for different tasks changed. Luckily two of the three I had in writing from him so he had to honor them. They did a great job in the first two visits, after that they didn't arrive on the scheduled days, constantly no call/no show. Then when they would did show up, the work it was inconsistent with many things left unattended. Continually left the debris rather than hauling it away. The most recent quote for tree services was several times higher than other vendors on Angie's List. Our recommendation is......... keep looking. Their "quality" of service is NOT worth the headaches, unfulfilled promises, missed appointments and poor follow-through. Hire a service that values its word and its customers.

It went well. The customer was pleased with the service. My boyfriend thought it was reasonable. The price seemed a little high to me.

I contacted the provider via text and we came to the agreement that he would visit my home the next day to provide me a quote for services. No one showed up the next day so I texted the contact number once again, this time I received no response. I found this experience to be horrible and if the person was to call me today I would not do business with them.

The yard / double lot was kind of a mess. Everything that had died, fallen down, crumbled away or piled up over the winter was there needing attention. I called Jose (whom I know from his good service last year) and explained our situation. He said he would send his men the next morning to look it over and give me an estimate. They arrived on time and inspected he yard. They called their boss and told him whtat they thought. He called me and quoted a price of $250 which included not only the huge lot cleanup bu also the first mowing. It was a bargain. When they were finished, I told people "We coud host a tea-party on our lawn." If we ever had tea parties, that is, Anyway, everythng was clean. In splended order. No more dead leaves or sticks or plant debris. Even our front porch was in perfect order! I had not expected that! Plus of course the lawn was perfectly mowed

As expected. We have used Jose before. My wife found him 2/3 years ago on Angie's list. He always provided excellent service and continues to perform as expected.

Jose was very prompt to come to my home and give me a bid for some yard work I needed done. I phoned him Saturday morning and he arrives at my home around 1pm. He was friendly and took his time with me. After giving me the bid he offered to mow my grass right then. I wasn't ready to accept his bid on the lg job because I had other companies coming to give bids. He was very quick with the mowing and very detail oriented! I felt awful because he got attracted by bee's! After a short break he finished the job. I feel like the service he provided was excellent and I will strongly consider his bid....stay tuned :)

All the work has been done quickly and on time. No surprises in price. I've given his name to two other friends who use him as well now.

The crew of 3 or 4 men arrive in a fine truck with large attached trailer. Plenty of machinery. The kind of mowers they use are ones you stand on while mowing. What happens next is they go zip zip zip and quick as a wink they are finished. They even trim the edges along the walks and the driveway. They put their machines back on the trailer and drive away. Sometimes Jose is with them. Sometimes not. I love these guys. So does my (now elderly) husband.

They do a good job and they’re pretty thorough. At this point, I’m satisfied with them. The grass cutting was very good and the price was reasonable.. Too be perfectly honest, the other yard work ie. bush trimming, spring and fall clean up, planting flowers,seeding etc., prices varied and seem to be at random on the high side.

Everything went well. A little confusion on the actual implementation but Jose called back to explain the difference.

Jose and his crew do an excellent job. They are quick, professional, and do wonderful work. Jose has been wonderful to work with, he is very timely in his responses, and he helped me clean up and maintain the outside of our rental house beautifully. Very personable.

Contacted Mon 3/31 p.m. He seemed preoccupied to the point that I asked was he Jose in mid-conversation. He replied 'yes, yes this is Jose' and told me to text him my address so he could drop by early next week. He stated he'd call before he came. April 1st I text him my address and days and hours I'd be available (I don't have an ordinary work schedule, plus I had a couple of appointments 1 day prior to work). He promptly replied that was ok, that he'd (still) call to let me know what time. No contact was made early or late the next week??? Fri Apr 11th at 9:02 p.m. I texted Jose and quot;Using Angie's List as a reference, I imagine you've been quite busy (since you didn't contact me this past week). Here's a reminder: adding my name and address. Jose promptly called, leaving a phone and a text message. His phone message informed me the reason he didn't call was that he couldn't call. He lost his phone last week with his records. He was glad I called back. He'd give me a call tomorrow to make arrangements. His text message stated he'd call tomorrow. I can imagine it being quite frustrating losing your cell phone, especially if it's your business phone. Fortunately for him, nowadays you can buy a new phone and keep the same number. It's May 3rd, but tomorrow's call never came. PS I gave an overall D rather than an F because I know Stuff Happens/LIFE happens while you're making other plans. I only wish vendors would just TELL you they're overwhelmed, if that's the case.

Jose came out and we discussed price and went over what I wanted done. I worked the day it was done and WOW I came home to the yard totally cleaned of brush and Jose and crew were gone...great job!!! Very impressed! I thought it would take more time to get done...very efficient, friendly and great work!! Going to hire them again definitely

Contacted Jose on Friday afternoon, he came by later that night and gave a estimate. Agreed to come back on Saturday to preform the job. Came by on Saturday afternoon and finished the job in about 1.5 hours. I was very happy with his service, and will hire him in the future.

He came over and bid the edging/planting project on May 22 or 23. I called the next day and agreed to his $375 bid. Jose said he would be over early the next week. I sent him a txt on 5/29 @ 9:31 am asking if he was going to come over to do the work. I never heard from him. This was my first experience with Angie's list.

They were very professional and punctual. Everything turned out just fine.

Our front yard was a mess and we haven't had grass growing for several years. The front yard slopes toward the sidewalk and we have many large trees. Jose graded the yard, power raked, fertilized and seeded it and now we have grass growing when the neighbors said it was impossible.
