Description of Work: They deconstruted 9 windows and louvers from a sunroom. Also, picked up 3 older windows and a large media storage piece of furniture.

 + -1 moreThe Habitat ReStore contact was prompt in his response, and was also good about following up with me about getting an estimate for the work. We ended up choosing a contractor who will also do the demo, but I will consider Habitat for future work.
Description of Work: I contacted Habitat ReStore about a quote for demolition on my kitchen. We ended up going with a contractor who will perform the demo work, but Habitat was very responsive to our inquiry. I will definite consider them for future projects.

 + -1 moreHabitat ReStore is our first stop before starting any fix-up project. Sometimes we just drop by to see what's new in stock. You name it, they have it - and at unbeatable prices. They stock lumber, cabinets, sinks, showers, tubs, doors and windows, tiles, finishing hardware, hardwood flooring and more. Each visit is an adventure. Since the stock is all donated, you never know what you will find. My favorite was lumber from an old tobacco barn near Weston. They are affiliated with Habitat for Humanity so, in addition to a bargain, you get the good feeling of well-doing.
Description of Work: Source for building materials at deep discounts. Builders and other donate surplus materials for tax credits. They also offer deconstruction service where tear-down materials are recycled instead of dumped.
