Gunter Pest Management

I paid $65 for the initial call and $780 for their service. They were prompt and professional. They were thorough and overall, it was a very good experience.

We starting having some some pest problems this year. I joined Angie's List in part to find references. Based on the information I contacted Gunter Pest. They schedule the appointment right away. The man that came was on time, professionally dressed and proceeded to thoroughly inspect our home. I assured me the chemicals would not harm our cat before starting. He treated our entire home as a preventative measure and diagnosed the area of our concern as ants. He clearly explained what the ants were doing and how the treatment should get rid of them. He answered every question I had. He was very careful while spraying and was concerned and careful to clean up a tiny bit of the attic blown-in insulation that fell out when he sprayed. He was very professional in every aspect. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Everything is fine and I have not had any problems. I give them high ratings on all counts and would use them again if needed.

I have used the diamond annual service the last couple of years for one annual charge. They come back if there are any insects seen between the quarterly service. They are punctual and will work to get an appointment to fit your needs. They are very polite and explain things if necessary.

I signed up for their yearly maintenance and I think I need to renew my contract with them. I got it through the big deal. I had termites in the past and the guy who came out said that I didn?t need anything else. So, I didn?t have to get the termite inspection package. I would recommend them because they took extra time showing me what I needed to look for as far as pests. He even went around the outside of the home as well as inside looking to see if he saw anything. He also gave me some suggestions like I need to cut down one of my trees. I would use their services in the future too.

Thy showed up on time and the job was finished in a timely manner. I no longer have to worry about spiders coming inside.

The night before the service was to be performed, I went out to rake, weed, (sever Creeping Charlie issue) and mow the lawn. Unfortunately, they came a day early and, although the lawn was not ready to seed, the work had been done. At first I thought I may have had the wrong day, but their message was still on my voicemail so I knew it was their error. When I contact them the next day, they apologized very quickly and assured me they would reseed the next day. They did return the next day, but the seed seemed to have been placed only in some of the bare spots. Other bare spots were seedless and I could not see seeds where the lawn was more established. I went out and bought seed to add myself. Gunters has a good reputation in the area so I do not know if this was the actions of one employee.

It went fine. They went through everything very thoroughly and explained what they were doing and why.

We had an appointment that was scheduled and the Gunter team did not show up for it. When we called, the office told us they made an error and we rescheduled. The team showed up on time and their approach was both informational and professional. Our termite issues are gone. There's a guarantee as well so if we do notice any renewed termite activity in the next (5? 10? can't recall) years, Gunter will handle that at no cost to us.

I am on an annual contract with them. They have been very good. I have been very pleased with them. I have used them for many years for termite followup. According to their service plan, they come out and inspect for termites. I have had no problems with them. I pay a one-time annual fee and then they come out as needed or quarterly, whichever is earlier. They charge me $320 annually and $100 a year for termite inspection. Their price was competitive; it was no more or no less. I will continue to use them in the future.

On time, listened to issue, explained service, got busy, got it done, went on their merry way. Efficient and thorough.

The inspector and the man who did the treatment were both very knowledgeable and experienced. They were prompt, worked quickly, and answered all questions. Highly recommended.

I called Gunter on Thursday afternoon and told them I thought I might have termites in my deck. They told me their technician could be there the following Monday. The gentleman came and was very professional. He told me that I did not have termites and explained to me that my home had been treated before and termite treatments last a number of years, etc. I appreciate his punctuality, professionalism and the fact that he did not try to sell me a service that I did not need.

They were the cheapest ones and he did a wonderful job. He was always on time, even with the hard winter. He was absolutely fabulous. We live out in the country and we had a hatching of black snakes and they were getting in the house. He came through and told us what to do and took care of that. We also had mice coming in, he has taken care of that. It has been absolutely wonderful.

It rained before and after treatment, so kitchen area had to be re-done following month (you have to wait at least 3 weeks for re-application), but happy so far.

Everything went well. Their price was reasonable.

I have no reason to believe they did not do a fine job.

Gunter sent someone out to inspect our property. When the inspector was complete, we were told there was no evidence of a termite infestation on our property. We were very pleased with the results, but when we asked the inspector to give us a written report, he refused. We requested the company give us a written report of the inspection results and they claimed the person didn't complete a full inspection. We requested someone else come out and perform an inspection (which we were willing to pay for) and they refused to send another inspector. Apparently, the only way they'll certify that our property is termite free is if we pay $1300+ to have the property treated. Even then, there's no promise of a written certification.

My overall experience with them was great. I have used him before. He is very polite and he explains things. He is very courteous and I like him. I think he does a very thorough job.

I would use them again in the future.

Great! The technician calls me when he's on the way and I meet him at home. He is friendly and very thorough. I do wish I would have known about the Angie's List discount before I paid, but I'll get it next year.
