It goes extremely well every time they come. Just like clockwork.

The only hiccup in the whole experience was my initial inquiry into their service via their website. After a second attempt, they responded immediately with an apology and scheduled the appointment. We signed up for the Diamond service and the technician was courteous, professional and explained all that would be done this time and in the subsequent services. We are very impressed with this company

We have an annual agreement with them. They treated the house several years ago. The experience has been excellent. The customer service is very good. They did the initial treatment and so far the treatment has prevented any more problems. They are the only company we've used so we don't know about their prices.

Perfectly. I used Gunter last year when we had ants invade our home. We had them back this year for preventative treatment so they ants do not come back -- nor any other undesirable bugs!. Gunter office and technicians are extremely professional. Arrive on time. Answer any questions. Great company to work with.

My call was answer immediately. The appointment time was made quick and conveniently. They arrived on time and asked if I was having any specific pest control issues. As the home was treated they specifically targeted the wasps and ants as I requested. I was told to call if I had any concerns or issues after the treatment. so far the results have been great. I will gladly call them for any future needs.

It worked for a while, but it didn’t seem to work for the rest of the fall. They came back about the beginning of April and then it worked like they said it would. I would use them again in the future.

The reason they don’t come out often is because they do a good job. They are good, reliable, and reasonable.

Since we have only used this company, I don’t have them to compare to anyone. We have been using them for years. They are the best.

I contact Gunter by email. I received a response within minutes. I was not only what time frame the technician would arrive, I was given the name of the technician. The service window was only one hour, not the 4 hour window most companies give you. I was scheduled between 1 and 2. I received a call from the technician at 12:15 saying he would be there at 1, and he was. The treatment was thorough and he explained what he found. This was a pleasure compared to the customer service of our previous two pest management companies. I am happy to find a company I feel I can trust! I expect a long, bug free, association with Gunter!

I called on Tuesday late morning, and made an appointment for a termite inspection, and the lady that answered was very nice, and said they could have someone there between noon and 2 p.m.. I said that would be great and scheduled it with her. Michael called me about 11:45 a.m., and said he would be here in about 15 min. He arrived on time and did a great job on inspecting my home and garage. None were found in my home, but we did find some on the garage. He showed me exactly where they were coming in, and some tips on what needed to be done prior to them coming out to treat the area. He answered all my questions without any problems and clearly knew what he was talking about. I'm sold on them, and will be scheduling my treatment appointment in a few days, after I have the area cleared by someone else, since I'm disabled and unable to do the work myself. I would have them back and recommend them to my friends!

Once realizing we had a problem, I called Gunter on a Monday afternoon and they were able to send a technician out as early as Wednesday morning. He did a thorough inspection and it became evident right away that he was very knowledgable and experienced and he was willing to share as much information as I wanted to hear and answered questions thoroughly. He left us with two proposals/treatment options to consider and let me know that if my husband, who was not present during his visit, had any additional questions, he was welcome to call him personally. Once we had selected a treatment option, I called to make an appointment for treatment. I called the day after the initial visit (Thursday) and they were able to dispatch a technician back out to our home on Monday morning. It's important to note that this was the beginning of the busy season for them. The technician who performed the work (drilling, trenching, treating, plugging and patching) could not have been more pleasant and also discussed in detail the work he performed and what we should expect going forward. At one point, he knew I had concerns about the drilling that was required in a new paver patio that we recently had installed long the back of the house and he took extra time to reassure me that he would work to ensure the least amount of drilling work would be visible/evident by the time he was finished....and he did just that. Both technicians talked about precautions/changes we might want to consider going forward to minimize future problems (e.g. rock or rubber mulch in place of the mulch along the foundation) and again, they were both happy to answer as many questions as I had and were extremely knowledge and professional. We were very pleased with the service and highly recommend Gunter....and thanks to Michael and Brian, our technicians.

They come out quarterly. They are very professional. They leave a message when they are going to come out. They take care of any issues we have.

I have been using them for about 4 years. They just come out once a year now. I have not compared their pricing with any other services.

Online appointment scheduling was very convenient, and they followed up via email at my request. The guy who came was very professional, very thorough, and was obviously very experienced. He gave me the facts and let me make my own decision about how to proceed.

I have always been happy with them. I have used them since 2000. They did the whole house, indoor and outdoor. Their price generally seems to be a little high but they are congenial about it. They employees stand to be always on time and they call me if they are going to be late. That is very important to me because I have to schedule a time to be here. They are always polite and I always go back to people I like. Once I had a problem getting rid of the ants and I called them and they back and did it for half the price.

The job went very well. They have really done a very good job. This time I had a new person so he wasn't quite efficient as the other guy. I know those, so if I had called and said that he didn't do something, they would have come back and done it for me for free. They are very respectable, quite knowledgeable and thorough.

We got good advice, and Gunter's knowledgeable and honest employee told us the truth - we didn't need to treat for termites at that time, and told us how to prevent future termite activity. We buy and sell homes more frequently than most, and will defintely call Gunter Pest Management when we do need an inspection, treatment, or more serious preventive measures than were called for this time. Our hats are off to Gunter for finding and keeping knowledgeable and honest employees like the man we met. We will tell all of our contacts how pleased we have been and recommend Gunter to them.

I've been using them for more than five years. They have a six months program which works well for me as opposed to the quarterly service. Their products are pet and kid friendly. They show up on time. They set a specific time and don't give you that big window of time where you don't know what time they'll show up.

After calling Gunter, we found a gift certificate we had purchased at a charity auction, but it had expired. My husband called and they said they would honor it anyway. We should just to give it to the technician he could call if he had any questions. The tech recognized the house from previous visits, did his job, and applied the gift certificate to the total price, significantly reducing our out of pocket cost. This is why we have been their customer for so long, they take care of the bugs and their customers.

We found termites when refinishing a wood floor. I called on Thursday night after closing and the individual from Gunter came the next day to inspect the house. He was outstanding.... very detailed inspection and found the problem. He explained the 2 processes that we could use and we made a decision on which one to use. Several days later, the property was treated..... Both individuals were very professional and did a great job....

Over the last several years, I went from thinking of ants as the innocent, industrious little worker insects they are to loathing them with the same ferocity I feel toward politicians every Leap Year. The ants decided one spring to invade my house and remain until freezing weather. . .what? Closed the roads between my kitchen and their colonies? They returned every mid-March, in greater numbers than the previous season, despite ant cups, ant sprays, peppermint soap, cinnamon sticks, and one hired gun who, after 12 months of failed treatments, left the premises, never to be invited back, saying so perceptively, "Maybe you live on an anthill." The recurrent drama between my family and the family Formicidae had to end. It was depressing, anger-provoking and expensive in terms of useless cleaning agents and ruined food. I had just signed up for Angie's List and decided Pest Control would be a good place to begin. Based on my research with Angie, the Better Business Bureau and other sources, I determined Gunter Pest Management was the company I would use. When I called for an appointment, scheduler Deb told me it would be almost two weeks before I could get on their calendar, which I should have realized, since a recent article in the Kansas City Star newspaper indicated the metropolitan area was being terrorized by our own nemesis,the odorous house ant. Although I was disappointed at having to wait, I was glad that Deb didn't try to squeeze me into an already full workload, which I think shows Gunter's consideration for their staff by allowing them adequate time to properly do their job and a recognition that each client's business is important. I asked Deb about pricing options, discounts, policies, materials used, and pet safety. (You may have gotten the idea from what I wrote above that we were carelessly spraying every cabinet and baseboard in sight and tossing ant cups about like rose petals. Not at all. We care about our pets' health, as well as our own. Spraying was done judiciously and always outdoors; and indoor traps were secreted as inaccessibly as possible from a curious dog or cat.) (We subsequently consulted our veterinarian, who reassured us about the products used by reputable pest-management firms.) I chose Gunter's annual Diamond program, which gave me the initial indoor-outdoor treatment and three additional outdoor follow-up treatments, one each quarter. However, anytime I determine a return visit--either in or out--is needed, I have only to request it, and my Gunter technician will come back. Yes, MY technician--the one you start with is the one you keep, which speaks of continuity and commitment. I don't feel that I'm being shuffled among techs or that I have to try to explain a predecessor's actions. The cost of the Diamond plan, normally $320, was discounted $30 for Angie's List members or new customers presenting a coupon from Gunter's webpage. At our first appointment on July 13, technician Steve impressed me with his professionalism (on time, wearing a uniform shirt); knowledge of his business (he explained his procedures and answered my questions thoroughly); customer-service attitude (he was efficient but took the time needed to properly treat all the areas we agreed to AND he respected my desire for caution around our furry little housemates); and by his appreciation of his work and respect for his employer. He said we may start seeing an improvement that same evening but certainly within 24 hours. What an understatement! Steve completed treating the main floor, i.e., the ONLY floor of our house, the attic, garage and outside foundation at about one o'clock; by six o'clock, we couldn't find a single ant, dead or alive, in the kitchen nor in any other part of the house. A few days later, we noticed ants swarming around the floor mat inside the front door. It was Saturday, but I called before Gunter's office closed to schedule a return visit for the following Tuesday, July 19. We scrubbed the floor mat and entryway floor and held the ants at bay with my peppermint concoction until Steve could come back in three days. He was just as cheerful and professional as he'd been the week before, this time redoing select areas of the outside foundation. That treatment took care of us until just recently, when the ants tried sneaking in the back door to hang around the kitchen trash can and stores of dry cat and dog food. Steve made his second return trip two days ago, on August 31, to treat the foundation under the deck. . .and he's still smiling when he arrives at our door. I asked him this week about preparing to bring my house plants indoors in the fall, after their summer vacation in the ant-infested outdoors, and Steve explained how he would treat the soil and the timing involved. Before I could suggest that I'd call Deb for an appointment, he said, "Of course, I'll be back for your quarterly treatment by that time and will take care of it then." Maybe you can tell--I'm a sucker for good customer service delivered by competent people and reputable companies. I waited until now to write this review because I wanted more than one encounter on which to base it. I wanted to know if the quality I saw in Gunter and its team was sustainable, and apparently it is. From the simplest of ideas--like scheduling in two- or three-hour blocks of time so the customer isn't kept waiting all day and then being punctual--to not overpromising but keeping the promises you do make, Gunter seems to have figured it out.

They were honest and told me what they thought when doing the termite inspection. It didn't seem to be any bargain, but I didn't go out and get any bids. I don't know how this place compares with some others. They have been out here twice; about a year apart. They seemed good. I watched them. They went around and sprayed inside and out. They seemed to spray every place. The bugs didn't immediately come back, so that was good. Where I live, there is a huge amount of bugs. No matter how good they were, it might be that no one could keep the bugs out for 6 months.
