It was great. They came on time for the initial assessment and professional. The quote was made for the things that needed done. They came the following week to get those things done. The house is much warmer since we made the change.

It turned out very good. It was considerate for what I needed done. They didn't try to up-sell.

The process went smoothly. The process took about 4 hours total but the men were very professional and polite. Shawn or Sean, walked me through the process and all the paperwork. I recommend them for others who need similar work done.

The energy audit was completed professionally and I was happy with their completeness and the presentation of their final report. If this was my only interaction with GIC I would rate them an A. 5 months after the audit I hired them to come back to complete the home sealing they advised needed done. They were responsive and arrived on time. However the work was disappointing. 1. They do not wear shoe covers so if you do not wear shoes on your carpet like our home be prepared. 2. Before starting work we discussed what would be done. He omitted the attic fan cover. When I reminded him he said "did I write that?" He looked at his quote and yes, it was there. Again he asked if he wrote it. Huh? It was typed in his quote, I didn't hand write it in! He didn't have the materials for it and had to go to Home Depot. Now I have an ugly pink foam board with magnets glued to it on my ceiling. He told me to spray paint it white. For 500.00 I expected professional looking results when they left. 3. They left their dirty foam caulking gun on top of my husbands clothes in our closet. And insulation from our attic on my clothes. We still have the gun if they want to come back to get it. 4. When I asked why some parts of the foam insulation wasnt completed as shown in their report, he said he didn't quote me that and it was extra. When they provide a report with color photos showing what needs done and I hire them to do the work I assumed it entailed everything they pointed out. 5. In the initial report he said we needed to weatherstrip our dog door. I asked why he wasn't doing it, he said he looked it up after he created my report and it isn't possible so I need to buy a new dog door. Huh? I didn't receive a report showing the results of their sealing work after the fact, probably because after paying 500.00 the results are minuscule. Bottom line, their energy audit is great but it's a bait and switch when it comes time to do the work. Avoid them.

They were running a little behind schedule but called to let me know. They were very thorough throughout the whole inspection and pointed out things to me as we walked around. The report was very informative and it had lots of detailed pictures. Ultimately i ended up purchasing the house and if i ever move i'll definitely use them again!

I had an energy audit done. The team was really professional and knowledgeable. They followed up with me when I had dropped the ball reporting I had insulation done so they could reassess my home. They reported a 22% increase in efficiency!

The staff was very professional and we would definitely recommend them to anyone that asked. The work was done several years ago, but we are still benefitting from it today. They showed us all the places air was coming in to our house and helped us close it up to make our home more efficient.

The quality of their work, as well as the knowledge and efficiency shown by the entire staff was superb. The energy audit was done very professionally and explained to me in detail, but in a way that I could comprehend. They made sure that I understood what the biggest need to improve my home would be and how it could be accomplished. They arrived on time to do the improvements and did the work on my home efficiently and quickly. They put spray foam on the rim joist and did a complete air seal of my home. I am very pleased with how much their ?green improvements? have helped to lower both my electricity and gas bills?even throughout the extremely horrible winter we just had! Besides lowering my bills, they also helped me to get a rebate on the cost of the improvements and a deduction on my income tax. Awesome company-- I tell anyone I hear complain about high heating/cooling costs to check them out.

I was very impressed with the work Luke and his team performed. Not only was I able to receive the Missouri state tax credit, but I have also seen monthly savings on my electric bill. The team at GIC was very professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. The thing I was most impressed with is the their communication skills. GIC was running 15-20 minutes to our initial appointment, however I was notified by a team member in a timely manner which allowed me to accommodate my schedule. Coming from the service industry, this is something that I was greatly appreciative of. I will definitely be using GIC for any future needs and give them a high recommendation for future customers!

The crew was punctual, professional and did a very nice job. I noticed a difference right away. Before the insulation was installed, I would have the thermostat set in the 70's and my upstairs (of a split level house) would still be close to 90 degrees. The air conditioner would continue to run and not shut off trying to keep up. After the installation of the insulation, the upstairs section would actually cool down, and the A/C would not have to continuously run to try and keep up. In addition, I saw a large savings (around $200) in my electrical bill even though the temperatures outside continued to rise. The Crew cleaned up the house after themselves, and didn't leave a big mess behind. I would highly recommend this crew for all your needs.
