Go Green Lawn & Sprinklers

I used the sprinkler system last fall after seed was planted and I have a beautiful lawn now. Joe explains everything regarding its use. When he came to turn on the system last weekend he also gave me a lot of suggestions for keeping a green lawn. He drew a map of the system so that if I decide to plant something, I will know where I can dig.

They just worked yesterday and today.So far it's fine.They are almost done. Seem very professional and I haven't seen the actual sprinkler yet. So, I can't have some judgement until I see it all completed and test. Seem to be fine.Working hard.

So far we love them. They're absolutely great. They originally gave us a quote of $4100 and when we told him others had quoted us lower than that, they lowered their quote to $3400. It's a family owned business. His wife answered the phone and was incredibly friendly. He was at our house two hours talking us through everything and showing us all the options. He was very personable and a very nice nice.

We have had the system for one year and have had NO problems. We are able to water as needed for the seasons. Our water bills during the hottest months were not excessive. We were concerned during August as we ran the system A LOT, however, our water bill was around $150. Our neighbors and friends with sprinkler systems stopped watering last year because of their high water bills. We were able to water all summer long and believe it because the sprinkler system design is so efficient. The watering zones and sprinkler heads are all placed optimally to ensure the maximum watering without wasting water.

The guy evaluated and discussed everything with me. My experience with him was wonderful. He was a very honest person. We actually met him at a home show. He was advertised by Angie's list for having a high rating. His service was excellent. He was very attentive, and he scheduled the convenient time for me. His service is thorough. We have already recommended him to my friends.

We really haven't decided if we are going to have the work done yet. If we do, we would probably go with them.

Go Green arrived as promised, performed the corrections with minimum impact to the lawn and cleaned up quickly. They kept me updated on their progress.

From estimate, through installation, through operation, all questions were answered and all expectations were met. Easy to deal with, responsive and timely, a quality company, well run and very competive in pricing.

They had good comments and ratings on Angie's List. The contractor was very professional on the phone and in person when he came out to do a survey of the yard and go over options. I felt we understood everything we could chose from and he offered an early booking discount on top of what his prices were. He explained how they operate. We also decided to go with them because I felt a connection to him as he is a veteran. It is a veteran run business and they know what they are doing because they have about forty or fifty reviews with not a bad one among them.

Go Green Lawn & Sprinklers did a great job. They did as expected. They came in at the price that they quoted us. It was done within a time that met our expectations.

The experience was great. I got other quotes. They came back and redid a couple of things.

They are a good company. We like their responsiveness, service, fees and we can talk to the owner. They are reliable, responsible and the pricing is excellent.

Met with the owner to discuss residential irrigation in general since we've never had a sprinkler before. He answered all of our questions and added a lot of information to the discussion. His background in sprinkler repair greatly assists him in understanding all types of problems that can arise from different equipment and installation. The work was performed very efficiently and with relatively no mess. Follow-up through summer, and winterizing, was done timely and still allowed me to water our new landscaping through October.

He is superior. He comes when he is supposed to. He stops by just to check up on when we are going to get the irrigation system started again. His head guy is so good. They are just excellent. I am so glad that I got Angie's List for this project. They don't advertise so I never would have gotten their name otherwise. This guy is so personable. I recommend him highly.

I found Go Green on Angie's list and called for a quote. We set up a time to meet and Joe was right there as scheduled. We walked around the yard and discussed options and he provided a quote. I decided to go with Go Green and since the weather has been so mild I now have sprinkler system. I liked the fact that Go Green would respond to phone calls and told me what the schedule was and what to expect - just good communication!

Installation price same as estimated. Work began on date quoted. Complete job took one day longer than expected but presented no problem for us. Trustworthy and hard working - happy to recommend. Irrigation system has met our expectations.

We are very pleased with the irrigation system installed by Go Green Lawn & Sprinklers. I initially selected venders through Angie?s list and followed up with additional information on the Internet. I provided a general equipment specification sheet to each of the potential bidders to obtain comparable bids and reflect what I regarded as the best irrigation system to meet our two primary goals of water conservation and long-term value. Joe Matthews went through the specifications with me and helped improve my equipment selection. They also accommodated me with my desire to put the point of connection next to the house instead of in the middle of our yard where the water meter is located. This turned out to be a bigger problem than initially believed since the water line was about six feet below grade instead of the anticipated three to four feet. However, Go Green maintained their original bid price in spite of the additional unexpected work effort. In addition, they took the extra time to fish the control wires through our garage wall to the inside weather based controller instead of simply running a conduit pipe down the garage wall like other contractors. Another differential between Go Green and the other bidders was the use of thicker PVC pipe for the main pressurized line from the point of connection to each valve with polyethylene pipe from the valves to the individual heads instead of just polyethylene pipe throughout the system as proposed by the other bidders. Joe appeared to be more knowledgeable than the other irrigation contractors and had a much better attitude toward customer service.

It went great. The previous owner had neglected it and GoGreen needed to come back to do some repairs just to get the blow out to work properly. There was no charge for the 2nd visit. We will definitely use them in the spring to get the entire system in good shape.

They were a no call/no show. I know it's their busy season, but I would at least appreciate a phone call letting me know that since I've been waiting around.

I called the owner Joe Matthews on a Friday morning because my sprinkler control panel had crapped out. He answered the phone at 7am. I explained that I really needed the panel fixed that day because I had already put grass seed down. He moved his schedule around and managed to get the panel replaced at 530pm on a Friday evening. Then he took the time to explain to me how the panel works and even answered a ton of questions I had about lawn care. I will definitely be using this company in the future.

Our lawn is healthier and fuller and virtually weed free. This is saying something since we had some significant issues last year with nut sedge, chick weed and clover. We have uses several different services and have never been this happy, and this was under very difficult growing conditions (sustained drought).. We intend to have them overseed with a different variety of grass to improve drought tolerance and reduce watering. And, we certainly plan to use this service again next year.

They were prompt and very knowledgable. They gave me good service at a reasonable price.

The appointment was for a month after the estimate, but Joe was able to begin the work earlier, and it was completed speedily. All service was highly professional, and thoroughly explained. The cleanup was immaculate. We selected Go Green because of the tone of the references on Angie's List. Most of the providers listed received high praise, but something about the comments regarding Go Green led us to choose this company. We are glad we did, and are happy to add our praise to those of the other customers.

We received several estimates and found that Joe took the time to educate us on the system more than the other companies. His crews did a good job and cleaned up at the end of each day. We have only had the system installed for a few days and so far no issues.
