Extreme Clean Dryer Vent Cleaning

Description of Work: Cleaned dryer vents & replaced hose.

Description of Work: Came to look at dryer vent and found that vent was no longer venting to outside. Vent was not properly installed and dryer was venting to insulation in between ceiling and floor going to outside vent. Brent explained problem and suggested solution of a proper vent out of house thru garage to outside which he came back to do. He brought all supplies and completed the job on the next visit . I am very happy with the work and dryer is working well.

Description of Work: Brent, the owner, came to inspect my dryer vent. He first alerted me to the incorrect type of venting used (metallic paper wrapped tube) on both my dryers. He suggested changing it to a metal vent which is safer and less prone to dryer fires (he should know, he's a firefighter in his day job). He then alerted me to a very long run (~30 ft) for the original dryer vent which was prone to clogging. He was unable to complete the cleaning as his brush head ran into some insulation indicating a break in the venting; he recommended having a camera run down to determine where the break was in order to repair and offered to come back if that was done. I had him change out the connecting flexible hose to metal ones on both the original and new dryer vents; he only charged me for that work. I ended up having the original dryer vent changed to a 6-ft run on the external wall outside the laundry room, thereby fixing that original problem. He was very pragmatic, practical and fair. He only allowed me to pay for the materials and time to change the vent hose to the proper metal kind and didn't charge me for the time he spent trying to clean the vent with a break. I definitely would recommend Brent to others.

Description of Work: Brent was extremely prompt in responding to my request for vent cleaning service. Checked the outside vent and the inside vent. Found the inside vent completely blocked. Used his handy-dandy rooter tool to clean the blockage. Very professional. Will be using yearly going forward.

Description of Work: Brent cleaned my dryer vent and did a great job. He spent a lot of time explaining how the vent works and also about fire safety with dryer vents. I asked him about rerouting the vent because it is so long. He offered to come back to do the rerouting instead of cleaning the current vent to save me money. I decided to have the cleaning done and will also be having him come back to reroute the vent.

Description of Work: The guy came out and was right on time and very professional and he tried to clean my vent but it was blocked by an idiot who put my deck in. I tried to give him $20 for his time but he wouldn't take it. He also gave me two other peoples names to correct my issue and as soon as that's done I WILL call him back to complete my cleaning.

Description of Work: Replaced venting system from clothes dryer in basement to the outside.This required 8 to 10 ft of appropriate venting material from dryer, up an addititional 8 to 10 ft through the basement ceiling to the oustside. Brent was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done when he came to give me an estimate. He performed the job exactly as he explained he would. He completed the job by himself, which was impressive to me. Beautiful work! He explained what he was doing and why, he was courteous, and very professional. I would definitely call him again. I highly recommend him.
