Lawrence Zachary was a no show for the actual work. Which turned out to be a good thing since he ruined the tiles on my bathroom floor (which I didn't know at the time) by using the wrong thin set and grout; within 3 months they were popping off the cement board. Do yourself a favor and forget you ever heard of Reliable Flooring, Draper's Reliable Flooring, Larry/Lawrence Zachary and look him up on Missouri casenet ([*** Link removed ***]

Given the enormous hassle of moving every stick of furniture, clothing, everything out of the 2nd floor to the 1st floor and then back up, Draper's did a great job and performed on time. The floors look great and I would certainly use them again. As stated above, the process involves being out of the house for a week. Larry, the sales guy, was very responsive and prompt to return calls before and after the work. Draper's sent 1 technician to do all of the work. He taped off the upstairs from the downstairs with plastic sheeting. He also taped off the computer room downstairs by request. One hitch was that the work ended up taking one extra day due to dampness in the air (slow to dry between coats), but we had already planned to be out of the house for the full week. One other problem was that the only areas that seemed to have been cleaned were the floors. Upon our return, we spent 3-4 hours dusting and detail cleaning the baseboards, closets, windows, doors and walls.
Description of Work: Draper's refinished the existing hardwood floors in stairs and 2nd floor of house built in 1949. Areas consisted of 3 bedrooms, 3 closets, 1 hallway and 13 steps. About 700 square feet. Flooring was sanded before and between 3 coats of poly being applied. We removed the carpet and pad ourselves prior to the work being done. We were asked to stay out of the house for 4 nights and then not to place furniture on the flooring for 3 more nights.
