They sent a nice young man who did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone and use them again.

They were punctual and did exactly as they said they would. Was quick to come and remove squirrels from traps and we haven't had any problems since. He was very nice and I learned a whole lot about squirrels. :)

The laid some traps which efficiently removed the issue. They were right on time and did exactly what I needed. This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well as recommend them to others.

Went great-- where ever they repair, I never have issues again.

Several years ago we contacted Critter Control at 816/363-8727 because we had a black snake who'd found a way into our basement. We couldn't catch the snake as it was up in the insolation in the ceiling. We called Critter Control late on a Sunday night and again on Monday morning. They informed us they couldn't come until Friday. I tried to impress on them the urgency of our situation and said that I volunteered for an animal rescue organization and was fostering several rescued rabbits and guinea pigs in my basement. Hence the need to act quickly. They still said they wouldn't come until Friday of that week. We then contacted another wildlife control company (Advanced Wildlife Management 816-228-1712) who came out immediately, safely removed the snake WITHOUT HURTING IT, and took it to a wildlife area to be released. They also helped us find out where the snake had entered and helped us fix the problem. They were wonderful. After the incident was resolved, I didn't give it anymore thought until 4-10-2014 when I received a phone call from a woman regarding a wild rabbit in her backyard that appeared to be ill. I asked how she'd got my number and she told me CRITTER CONTROL GAVE HER MY HOME NUMBER because I had told them I volunteered with an area animal shelter. I did help the woman, but also called Critter Control at 816-363-8727 to ask if they had a "rabbit rescue" number. I was told by Whitney, the employee who answered the phone, to call "Robin" at [my home number]. I then told her I was Robin and asked why she was giving out my home number to people. Whitney became very defensive and extremely rude and said "because I'd authorized it several years ago". I told her I had NEVER authorized any such thing and offered to give her the hotline number for rabbit rescue. She was very angry and refused the information and hung up on me. My husband then contacted the people at corporate Critter Control at 1-800-451-6544 and were told to call Jeff Archer, the owner of the local Critter Control to resolve the issue. John was also told to call Shawn, the owner of all the franchises, but I believe he did not return our call. Although we've been told by Jeff Archer that our number has been removed from their records, Jeff, Whitney and all the others we've spoken to refuse to take any responsibility for giving out our home number these past few years (that probably explains some of the calls I've received over the past few years regarding both domestic and wild rabbits). Jeff insists it isn't their fault that our number was given out. Critter Control is a company that has little regard for honesty and lied to us about giving out our home number. I would not trust them to remove any animal. They were also much more expensive then Advanced Wildlife Management. If you live in the Kansas City, MO area, DON'T call Critter Control. Instead, call Advanced Wildlife Management (I will write a review of them).

My service went very well. The woodpecker wasn't just causing constant noise with its obsession with a particular point of the exterior or my house, but damage as well and kept returning daily. I was surprised upon calling around that most animal pest services were so expensive, but Critter Control was fairly reasonable. My particular service man was also very polite, and checked for damage in many of the adjacent areas, and as I had just become injured, he provided a bit of extra help by tossing down some of the leaves clogging the gutters while he was up there. He provided excellent advice on ways we could help prevent future pest problems, and some tips on some wood rot he was seeing from the ladder which I managed to get fixed using another service provider I found on Angie's List. I would definitely recommend Critter Control for their services to others here, and have already recommended them to several of my neighbors.

They did what we asked them to do and then some. They didn't charge any extra. We had no problems whatsoever. We were satisfied with the price. We liked that they called and they showed up when they said they were going to. They did everything that we expected them to do. We were happy with them. They were very responsive. We would definitely use them again.

I called and explained the scratching noises in the wall. Critter Control couldn't come out for a few days but they told me not to worry. When Brian from Critter Control arrived, I showed where I heard the noise in the house. He went outside and walked the perimeter of the house and found the point of entry. He said he'd close the hole to prevent any more critters. He also suggested caulking specific and general areas of the exterior (which was done later that day!) One other thing he pointed out was the dryer vent, and I had replaced with a more protective one ($54 well spent in my opinion.) Brian went to the basement and reviewed the areas. He showed me some of the mice droppings but indicated he thought there was only one mouse (which was somewhat a relief.) Brian set the traps. A few days later Brian returned and one mouse was caught. The remaining traps are still set (it's been over a week) and no other critters (or scratching in the walls) have occurred.

I have had to use the service of Critter Control years ago. They have always been wonderful to work with. If I wasn't home at the time they came to check their trap, I always a note on the door to advise they had been there. Once the squirrel had been caught, they advised as well.

The service required repeat visits, and I was pleased throughout. Technician Todd was very patient with my questions and suggested strategies to keep the squirrels from coming back. They came out to my house at least 5 times and repaired the squirrel holes to my satisfaction. My house is 3 stories and they were not sheepish about getting on the roof.

Casey quickly assessed the situation. A rabbit had come into a small space through a doggie door. He removed the animal and applied spray to remove odor. Handled easily and efficiently. I would recommend highly.

They helped us with possum five years ago. We called them again for the moles.

Set trap for raccoon in attic vent where he entered. Animal must have already left. No animal caught. Removed trap and fixed vent where raccoon entered. Attached heavy wire mesh to outside of vent so animal could not break in again.

As much damage as the mole was doing, we thought there was a family of them. There was only one. The gentleman came when he said he would. He laid out traps where the activity seemed to be. Came back a couple of times to check the traps and move them around.... They offered a yearly plan, which we liked because we don't have to pay the trap set-up fee every time he needs to come out. We're happy.

Squirrel was caught within first 24 hours (we had already caught 3 on our own) and he came as soon as I reported it. The employee was young but professional and friendly. Waited 10 days and no more activity. Came back out ANC closed the hole plus put shields in place on 3 other possible trouble areas

Thought the guy that came out was great. Explained squirrel had not been in attic, but saw a way they could and took steps to prevent that from happening.

I contacted Critter Control because I had a mole tearing through my back yard and chipmuncks running amok through my front yard. They came out quickly set a variety of traps. This resulted in trapping the mole and two chipmunck, but surprisingly (because we don't really live on the edge of any real "wild" spaces - -it's all subdivisons all around) also an opossum and a raccoon. I understand the nature of setting traps and then just having to wait and see what you you catch, but the two additional animals (that I really wasn't interested in getting rid of) inceased the cost of service noticably. The company did a very good job, were very professional, and I appreciate that they didn't simply just set traps to kill the animals.

They were able to diagnose it and set traps. I put a chimney cap on so I haven't had further issues.

On this occasion two traps were set, and one day later set off by a ground hog and a raccoon. After Kevin filled in the hole with dirt, a few days later it was dug out again. He set another trap, and caught another raccoon. Since he filled the hole again, we have had no issues. We have used Kevin numerous times to catch squirrels in our attic and get bats out of our attic. Each time he was helpful, and thorough. He was able to suggest home improvements that would make our house less desirable to animals. He could make the improvements, or we could hire someone else. Kevin never hard-sold us. This last time we did buy bait rocks for chipmunks that were digging up our yard, as well. We have had a year-long contract, too, for moles that were digging up our yard. We didn't need it this past year. Yes, they are a little expensive, but if you have animal issues, Critter Control will take care of them. They will be gone. No doubt about it.

It went fine. They were punctual and always did their best to make things easy for me.

I couldn't be happier with these guys! Jeff was extremely helpful in making me understand how it would all work. He was very flexible in scheduling with me because we had to coordinate with an electrician. He called to confirm the day before every appointment. They could NOT have been more professional. I would recommend these guys!

They were just very honest and explained the price to me. They told me what all needed to be done and how the squirrel got in there. He came back out and checked the traps several times just in case the mother had babies.

It was expensive for what they did. We were under the impression that they would do more than what they did for that kind of fee.
