Mike and his crew are great to work with. Mike is communicative and goes out of his way to make sure the customer understands and is comfortable with the process. The painters were prompt, courteous and answered our questions. They applied a wonderful 4-color paint scheme to our home and it looks awesome.

My house is a large two story and 100 years old. It had not been painted for 20 years or more and the exterior surfaces were in poor shape. A competing painting company declined the job with concerns that it couldn't be done reliably. Another company bid far too low to make me feel comfortable that they really knew what they were up against. Siding companies wanted three times the price I paid and would have to had remove structural parts like brick molding, drip lines not found in newer homes. The house is in Brookside which is Crestwood's market, and I felt confidence in their experience in painting 100 year homes, and occasionally one in poor condition as mine was. Crestwood's bid was considerably higher but closer to what I expected for large old house with poor exterior condition. But I actually thought it would be four to five thousand more and was prepared to pay it. The job was done in 6 business days. It looks beautiful. Crestwood was responsive to do minor touch ups after completion promptly. The before and after pictures tell it all. I had no doubt in their ability in this project.

Very professional company-offered assistance with choosing colors, and frequent communication regarding project. The painters were personable, polite, and very respectful of our property. They did a meticulous paint job as well as clean up. I would absolutely recommend this company to do any painting project!

Very well. The estimate turnaround was quick and included a rather detailed SOW as well insurance documentation --very professional and better than any of the others I'd received. Work started on time and stayed on-schedule. He was very honest and accommodating to helping us solve wood issues and gutter issues that were revealed at a very fair price, very professionally done. Work was done VERY neatly, cleaned up everyday, placed any tools or materials to remain on site out of the way and out of sight of neighbors.He was very thorough and careful to ensure that the work was being done according to our wishes. He performed several walk-around with us as work was being done and when the work was finished. He even came back after full payment to do some minor touch-ups! I have dealt with A LOT of contractors and I have rarely, if ever, encountered one as professional and committed as Mike. See Crestwood Painting's website--it's really helpful and everything they say on it about their quality of work is true!

Overall they did a solid job, I am a bit picky and when I pay almost 3k for paint work I kind of expect perfection. While the work was solid its is not perfect, I expected some wall prep as in fix/spackle minor issues in wall surface and I ended up doing the work to make sure it was done. Dings in door jam were left for me to see and suggest that we might want to spackle and sand. In the end paint job looks good, just cant give it an A.

Excellent experience. Mike Kelly came for the estimate and took down thorough notes about where to paint and where not to paint. He also took photos (Excellent idea!) He let me know a day ahead of when he was coming to paint. (The first attempt at scheduling was botched by me, and he was more than gracious and understanding.) The painter was polite, professional and thorough. Looks great, and the cost was what he said it would be.

I recently had Crestwood Painting paint the exterior of my Brookside home. Their attention to detail was very refreshing. They first removed all the storm window, which I'm not sure the last time the windows had ever been removed. They power-washed and then scraped the entire two-story house. They taped up the windows and areas that were not to be painted. After the painting was finished, Crestwood Painting made sure to clean up the area. This included scraping the windows of any splatter, replacing the storm windows, and vacumming up paint chips off the ground. They started promptly at 8am and worked the whole day, some days up to 6 or 7pm. It took them seven days to finish the whole job. They did an excellent job of priming and painting my home. I would highly recommand them for any painting job you need done.

The crew was professional and the finished product looks great. He doesn't do extensive wood rot repair like some other painters, but I hired a carpenter for that work and still came in under the other estimates I got. We had a few bumps along the way like overspray on my roof and some other minor things, but he was easy to work with and willing to correct the issues to my satisfaction. The house looks better than it ever has.

This spring I was impressed with the work of Crestwood Painting on a house that was on a remodeling tour. I called Mike for an estimate on painting my house exterior. He came out promptly and was very professional. He listened to my concerns about the serious paint failure on my house, and carefully explained to me the level of preparation that he would recommend. He provided a reasonable price considering the amount of powerwashing and scrapping that would need to occur. Mike and his crew shortly began work and completed the work on time. I was very impressed with the powerwashing and scrapping that removed virtually all of the loose paint that could reasonably be removed. Primer was applied one day and the body coat and trim were painted the next day. Cleanup was very good as well. Now my house looks better than it ever has. I would highly recommend Mike and his crew.

We hired Crestwood Painting last year to do some touch-up painting around our home and were very happy with their prompt and reasonable service so we hired them back this year to do a full painting of our home. The house looks wonderful, we couldn't be happier!

Mike contacted me the day after I submitted my inquiry and met with me the same week to provide an estimate. Very helpful and informative regarding the products and process. The job was delayed a few weeks due to rain but once they started they completed the job in one day. The crew was extremely thorough, quiet, polite and very, very tidy. They very carefully taped and covered all surfaces not to be painted. The paint job itself is outstanding. I highly recommend them!

Mike Kelly showed up for bid as promised and spent the most time measuring and preparing bid. Of several bids, his was the most detailed and thoroughly explained. He highly recommended using the best paint available and included it in his bid. His crew was always professional, courteous and kept job site cleaned daily. Port-a-potty set in driveway during work. Mike checked with me frequently on work performed and responded quickly to all concerns. Crew arrived promptly every day promised and were committed solely to our job until it was completed. Mike's company is bonded and insured. We are extremely pleased with the results and expect the paint job to last 10+ years. This experience proves "you get what you pay for." Although it was the most expensive bid, it was an excellent value in paint prep and application when you consider the expected duration of the service performed. I would highly recommend Mike and his crew to anyone. Job well done!!

He was on time. He was very friendly. Let me know exactly what he would and would not do. Let me know what to look for through other painters. He seemed like he knew what he was doing. He was very trust worthy. Very honest. I would have gone through him if it weren't for his estimate being way too high.

Not only was he prompt with his estimate, but he includes in his estimate a list of questions you should ask any painting company when getting an estimate. Mike's painting crew was always on time, worked hard, was clean and meticulous in both their preparation and painting. Mike was also very fair when we discovered we choose the wrong color (TIP: ALWAYS do a test spot on your home before painting the entire house no matter how confident you think you are in your color choice) and had to repaint the whole home.
