Did the work in two days, then even came back after a big storm, to check to see if everything was ok. We lost a couple of limbs to the storm: Gary took them to the curb, then came back later and removed them. Great service and knowledgeable.
Description of Work: Tree removal, tree sculpting (they are artists, that care about trees), and stump removal.

Great. Estimate was made day before job was done; arrived early in morning, worked unto finished.
Description of Work: Three large soft maples in front yard, thinned out and trimmed. One large limb on a neighbor's walnut tree was hanging over our walk-out patio, dropping walnuts and making a general mess. That was cut off to its base (with neighbor's concurrence). Several hanging limbs from a large sycamore in back trimmed. All small limbs were shredded in their machine, and the big limbs were cut into fireplace size logs and stacked, by them. Yard was well raked and cleaned, and driveway blown clean (neighbor's too). Overall very good job. They had done work earlier for another neighbor, very good too.

A crew of four or five including the company owner, Gary Crawford, arrived around 8:30 in the morning and used a bucket truck to remove a large, partially decayed maple tree in my backyard. The tree was right next to my six-foot cedar fence and close to an overhead electrical line and the roof of the house. They took down the tree and removed all debris successfully without damaging anything. The project took about 6 1/2 hours.
Description of Work: The crew removed a large maple tree.

He was at our neighbor's house (with the white oak) the morning of the storm (our neighbor had been very impressed by work Gary had done for us earlier and had called him that morning). He did all of his work from about 8:00 to 2:00. He was fast but careful, and was immaculate in his cleanup. Gary had estimated the cost for the 3 pear trees at $250 per, but gave us a discount for $630 since we had used him before to take down our large cottonwood that had been badly damaged by lightning a number of years ago. Don't know how much he charged our neighbors but we heard no complaints at all. If I have to take down another tree, I will not call anyone other than Crawford's Climbers. Gary does first-class, professional work, is very pleasant to work with, and is exceptionally dependable.
Description of Work: As part of the aftermath of the Aug 2011 storm, Gary Crawford and his team took down 3 tall pear trees (for $630) between two houses (delicate job), in addition to taking down two neighbors' very tall cottonwood and very tall white oak on our right and left respectively--both damaged by the storm. He also removed large limbs that fell in our yard from our other neighbor's cottonwood, limbs I had picked up from the storm, and he took down a dangling limb over that same neighbor's house.

Mr. and Mrs. Crawford arrived Sunday evening to look over the scene and make me an estimate. They called yesterday, August 8th and arrived on time. The whole crew went directly to work and did an amazing job. Despite the terrible damage it suffered, Mr. Crawford was able to save this tree. We are so grateful as it provides lots of shade to our backyard. They never paused. Using everything from chain saws to a mini-dozer, they were able to removed the vast amount of wood and they cleaned up the entire property...not just around the tree. Our whole yard was knee deep in storm damage and Crawford's Climbers cleaned up every scrap. Looking over my yard, you would never know a bad storm had hit. We are fortunate enough to have a large yard with many trees, and for the future, we will be using and recommending Crawford's Climbers.
Description of Work: Sunday, August 6th, our property suffered severe damage to one of our largest trees. The tree split apart about 10 feet from the ground and most of it was hanging from an adjacent tree. Limbs, branches, twigs, leaves...everywhere. Although our other many trees were not damaged, the whole yard was covered in debris.

Gary Crawford was very professional. Gary instilled a lot of confidence in us through his professional attitude . . . and he delivered as promised. His team consisted of two in the tree and three on the ground. All were very friendly, helpful, conscientious, and patient with us nervous home owners. All were very safety conscious, using hard hats and ropes. They were hard workers, working through lunch and very efficiently. Gary's estimate matched what we paid. Cleanup could not have been better. This was a huge job, but it was done extremely well. We will certainly hire Crawford's Climbers again for future jobs will recommend them to our neighbors. The stumps were ground exceptionally well.
Description of Work: Two trees had been struck by lightning a number of years ago. We were concerned about both blowing over and into our neighbors' houses. The major concern was a 100+ foot cottonwood tree that was rotting from the inside out. Crawford's climbers cut down, removed, and chopped up both trees. They ground the cottonwood stump, another old stump that was extremely hard; and they cut, rather than ground the stump of the smaller tree since grinding would have damaged adjacent trees. They estimated two days, but got it all done in a day. Gary Crawford explained the costs up front. A neighborhood friend and realtor had recommended him because of all the good work he had done in multiple neighborhoods. It was obvious that other tree services did not want to tackle this tough job, with one estimating the job at $10,000 and others not returning our calls (we will not call them again). Two wanted to use a crane, parked in our driveway (which would cause even more cracks) and swing pieces of the tree over our house! Gary and his teammate just lowered the tree parts to the ground and his helpers carried and wheeled them off.
