The owner is very patient and professional. The movers are careful and polite. I was beyond pleased! Everything was handled with care and I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone needing to move. I will use them again even if I'm just moving a couch I buy! I have had scary experiences with other movers but not with this company at all! I felt safe as a single female and nothing was broken and everything got to my place intact. I was very impressed all the way around!

I can’t say enough amazing things, from start to finish, the person I spoke with on the phone and everything. The workers are fast and efficient and went above and beyond. I don’t even write reviews but for this company yes. best company I’ve hired ever hands down. I’ve moved with them twice now and there prices are the best.

They came with less than a days notice, due to another moving company getting the wrong date. I had a whole truck full and they were done loading in around 2 hours. They held my stuff in the truck until I could get in my new house( there was a delay due to underwriters). They all were very helpful and friendly!

As soon as these people showed up I could tell they had moved a lot of pianos. They worked quickly, but very carefully. My baby grand was handled with all the care I could hope for.

Very good service, very professional and friendly crew. Josh was easy to work with and kept me up to date as to what was going on. Really liked the extra services available.

We had a pretty bad experience. My daughter made a reservation for her move back to school several days in advance and was quoted a price of no more than $400. He was aware that the initial apartment was on the second floor and the new apartment was also on the second floor and the move was from Overland Park to Manhattan, approximately 1.5 hours away. He assured me of the price. I used a mover on Angieslist because I was out of town, was flying in and had limited time to help. The move was originally scheduled for that Saturday morning however we received several calls from Josh, who I assume is the owner, indicating they were behind due to another move that took longer than anticipated and that he couldn't give a specific time. That afternoon, after several calls, I asked him to just commit to whether he could do the move or not so that we would know what to do. I told him that if he was so far behind that day, we were willing to just wait until the next morning to move but he was not receptive to that suggestion. He finally called back and said that he would be able to do the move at 5:00 p.m. The movers did not arrive until close to 7:00 p.m. The apartment was packed and all the movers had to do was load the truck. The last time she moved, it took 45 minutes to load the truck but this time it took over 2 hours for the same contents. The drive to Manhattan was 2 hours. It took almost 3 hours to unload the truck and they were not finished until after 2:00 a.m. The movers had no tools and, because the door was at an awkward angle to the outside walkway, they could not get it inside and left it outside. They were also not able to get the desk into the bedroom and left it in the living room. To the movers' credit, my daughter did not have power in the apartment and I had to use an LED phone light for the interior. However, had they arrived at the scheduled time it would not have been an issue. When finished, the drivers called in for the price and we were charged for 8 hours and payment was required in cash. Fortunately, I had the extra cash on me. I would have given a rating of "F" were it not for the two guys who worked h****** the move and were very pleasant. They were clearly not experienced or particularly fast movers, but given the late hour I understood they must have been tired and still had to drive back to Kansas City at 3:00 in the morning. I usually tip movers and told them I would have given them a larger one than $20 but I did not have any more cash on me since the cost was almost double what I had been quoted. The move and the day was just chaotic. Josh was disorganized, unprepared and grossly underestimated the time and the cost of this move.

Overall a great experience. Moving is stressful and no fun to begin with but Courtesy Movers made it much easier on our family. The owner, Josh, was outstanding in organizing his guys and making sure that everything was packed properly. He worked alongside his workers and made it a point to be carrying and directing all the heavy and difficult items to move. If you ever had a question he was always eager to make sure you know exactly what their plan is. All his 6 guys that were also on the job were very nice and when they arrived each one of them introduced themselves to all family members. They have been in business for just a year but don't let that sway your judgment. We honestly were a little nervous at first, would they show up on time?, would they be professional? All the questions everyone has running through their head. The Answer: YES. I highly recommend Josh and his company Courtesy Movers. Don't let his young face and only one year in business fool you. He has a very good résumé in this line of work and his ability to envision your furniture to get through doors, stairways, and basements that call for a tight fit is uncanny. He got a sectional in my house that didn't seem possible. Lets just say I don't think I would play him in Jenga. Nobody's perfect and they did make a dent in one of the walls but they pulled out the mud put it on, let it dry and sanded it down. You just hope you have a little paint left over and they will roll it on. But not one single item was damaged or broken in any of our boxes!! Courtesy Movers were fantastic. The staff is professional,very accomodating and exceptionally polite. They arrived on time on the scheduled day of the move and they took great care with our belongings. I would not hesitate in recommending Josh and his team - great professionals doing an efficient job!

We had a very good experience with Courtesy Movers -- their name fits! It felt as if we had invited four friends over to help us move -- but they did all the lifting! All four of the movers were very polite and courteous and there was friendly chatter and banter throughout the day. It was a long day -- started at 8:30 AM and ended close to 10:00 that night, but they were all still trotting up and down the ramps of the moving trucks and the stairs in the house! We got the impression that two of the movers were the more experienced and two had less experience, but they all worked to ensure that everything was moved and carried carefully and we had no damage. They communicated well with one another to formulate their plan and then carried it out -- for the whole house and for each piece. We actually blew it and forgot to open a door to a storage area in the garage when they first arrived and made their truck loading plan! (We had included it in our bid, but forgot to include it at the start of the moving day!) It was full of holiday décor and a two stack weight machine! Would've definitely been good for them to know about at the beginning, but Joshua just rolled with it! Said, "well we know about it now so let's get it loaded!" Their pricing was better than two other companies that we received quotes from by quite a bit, but their attitudes and friendly demeanor really were the best part of the whole deal! Great job! Would definitely use again and I've referred them to a friend already!

Overall it went great. Josh was timely in returning calls and emails during scheduling. They were running an hour late on the start time but called to notify us which was appreciated. The 3 men who completed our move were friendly, professional, hardworking and worked well together. They made a challenging day seem easy. I would highly recommend them.

The two men took extra care to protect the furniture by wrapping the entire armoire & tightening loose screws to assure the armoire was in solid condition before moving it. They were extremely polite, hard working, & did a very good job. I highly recommend them.

The guys were there a few minutes early (love that) and got to work right away ... they were careful to move things so that there was not any damage to walls (they had several items coming up from the basement) ... they secured it all and got it moved within the time we had estimated ... These guys were very courteous and professional and I will pass their names on to others for sure.

1. The movers were 1 hr late. 2. They were unexperienced movers since this was their first day. 3. They didn't have a plan on how they were going to move items. 4. They began to slow down (got tired quickly) moving our stuff so that increased our estimated cost to more than we wanted to pay. 5. We had to do another load since the truck didn't fit the boxes we had left. The guys were very nice and did their best but we would have preferred experienced movers to get the job done quickly as possible.

Joshua and his team were punctual and arrived ready to work. They worked so fast that we had extra time and they were able to move more than we originally planned for them to move. Every piece of furniture was handled with care (which is more than I can say for most of our moves handled by the Army). Nothing got scratched or broken. One of his team members even helped install my washer and dryer and ensured that it was functioning properly in its location in our new home. It can not say enough good things about this move. I was hesitant bc the army always handles this for us, but I have to say they made the move much less stressful. Easiest one out of the last 5 moves in 10 years!!!

Actually, we used another mover but the guy who was in charge of moving us built a new company which is this company. He was very positive and did everything right going beyond his duties. There were no broken or missing items. Very friendly and professional and hardworking guys.

These guys are great. When they gave me the initial bid, they caped the amount as to how much I would be spending. As it turned out the estimate and cap was way under bid. Instead of one day and 2 trucks, it took 2 days and a total of 3 trucks. But these guys are men of their word. They stuck to their word and finished the job for the initial agreed up price. And no matter how tired they were, they remained very helpful and courteous. Even when they discovered they put the wrong frame on the wrong bed... they were happy to make it right. I can't recommend these guys enough.. they worked their tail off and did it all with a smile. Thanks Josh.

I called at least 15 movers prior to selecting Courtesy Movers to do the job. I chose Courtesy Movers after speaking with Joshua Curtis, the owner. He is a professional and offered the best rate and services. Part of the challenge I had is that I was only moving one piece of furniture. Most movers have a minimum charge -- which is perfectly understandable -- yet it is cost prohibitive when trying to donate a large piece of furniture. Not only did Courtesy come in at the lowest bid, Joshua was a delight to work with in terms of arriving on time and taking care to move the sectional with out damage. I will definitely use Courtesy Movers for all of my moving needs.

Overall this experience was top-notch. Will use this service again.

I had planned on having everything packed the night before but when Josh(owner) showed up I was no where near done. His team offered to go ahead and pack everything up. They sorted and labeled every box. Without their help I would have never been done with two children running all around. I appreciated their hard work making sure everything was wrapped and packaged correctly. I have antiques that were handed down from many different generations and they made sure that ended up to the new destination without any marks on it. I can't express how much I appreciated their determination to make sure I was satisfied and everything was handled correctly. On top of all their hard work they did all of this with my two little children running around. They even offer a seperate day cleaning service so that I could get my apartment deposit back. It was so nice to know I could go to my new home and unpack while they finished the cleaning up for me. I apprecaited all they did for my family and I. Now we are in our new home more satisfied then I expected!!!

We were extremely happy. No one looks forward to the job of moving. These 2 men came in very professionally walked around and assessed the game plan and went right to work. In no time at all we were unpacking at our new location. They also offered help in after the move cleanup on kitchen appliances, vacuuming etc. This in itself was great for me it freed up my time so I could get on to my new home and unpacking.
