Columbia Windows & Doors is a manufacturer of both aluminum & vinyl windows & doors for both new construction and replacement applications. Columbia markets to a 10 state area in the central United States to building contractors, building materials wholesalers and glass and door wholesalers in the residential and light commercial markets. We market: aluminum storm windows and aluminum storm doors vinyl windows and aluminum windows in single hung, double hung, fixed, casement, horizontal slider configuration aluminum sliding patio doors in bronze and white finish, and white vinyl sliding patio doors basement windows in vinyl and aluminum a great number of specialty windows such as half rounds, octagons, Hy-lite glass block in aluminum and vinyl, and vinyl garden Windows. We do use subcontractors for installations. We offer free estimations on any job big or small.

replacement windows

The sales person quoted me a specific number for replacing all of our storm windows. I asked if the price included removal and disposal of the old storms and the sales person said "Yes". Almost a month later, the installer calls me and tells me they charge an extra $75 per window to remove and dispose of the storm window. Meanwhile, the columbia sales person is non-responsive. Very unprofessional, extremely frustrating as a homeowner that has planned on this solution for over a month. Don't waste your time with Columbia.

They are kind of hard to coordinate with. The price of the screens is very expensive but top quality products and it was worth having them. They had to order it from another state as it was manufactured there. I work full time so they had hassle lining up the installation with me. Once everything is done, they are absolutely wonderful. I love having them on my windows and its really secure. The product is excellent. The price could have been cheaper.
Description of Work: I used Columbia Glass & Windows to put security screens on windows.
