They were about three days behind schedule because of unforseen setbacks at a couple of jobs ahead of mine. They did really good work and stayed about 13 hours to finish all in one day. They did more than what they had to do without charging more for the extra. I was very pleased with this company and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Scott walked us through the details of the plan for our roof replacement, he was detailed with reviewing every aspect of the process, the materials they would use and how they would use them, we especially appreciate the quality of underlayment. They used a synthetic underlayment that is warrantied for the life of our roof and grips better so that the crew could work safely. We are very pleased with the professional crew removing the old wood roof and installing the new premium composition one. Overall clean up after the final installation was done to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the appearance of our house with our new roof.

They were great. Responded quickly to my call. Met my Wife provided a quote on the spot, explained the quote and the work that would be preformed and made recommendations on options available to us. Met with me at work to discuss the project. Showed up the day they said they would and finished when they said they would. Project was complete and other than the new roof you would never know they were here.

We asked for a bid from a company before we heard about Christian Brothers Roofing. That company and the bid we got after Christian Brothers were far inferior to what we got from Scott Horstmann when he came to do a bid for us. What was a real plus for us is that he pointed out some areas of our roof that needed attention, and included in the bid full removal and replacement of old shingles, showed me photos of the problems on the roof and told us how he could improve our attic ventilation. His company also offered an excellent warranty. The first and third bids only made an outline of our roof and said we had some blistering and emailed us a bid. After the Angieslist coupon, Christian Brothers came out about the same price as the first bid. Scott also gave us a follow-up call. Neither of the others did. He also (for additional but reduced cost) bid on a replacement skylight that would be an upgrade over the one that we have had for 20+ years. He also made some recommendations for bathroom fan venting that we did not know were available. Supplies were delivered the day before the project began as he had told us. His team was out early the next day and completed most of the job before dark. This meant only about 9 hours or so of daylight to remove and re-roof our house, complete with the new vents and removal and fill in of roofing under wind turbines. We have a large house with over 2,000 sq feet of roof, so this was work done quickly and professionally. They came out the next day to complete a small area that they were unable to finish initially, and perform clean up of the driveway and yard. The next day, on a Saturday, they returned to complete a special request to clean the shaft and plexiglas that was underneath the skylight. They literally had two workers holding a third by his ankles so he could clean this area, wish we had a photo we could share, this was above and beyond. Scott was extremely responsive and professional. He took a lot of time to make sure he knew the scope of work in detail and had a plan for some of the trickier parts of the project. He then made a very effective, detailed presentation on the project, materials used and Hardie specifications. We were confident that he could do a fine job. We ended up going with another company that has more experience with installing Hardie products on homes and was very slightly less expensive.

Recommended 6 more vents in the eve's. Had them do the work and was done in a timely manor

Ryan was a great guy to work with. I called him to come out and look at the roof on our double car garage because we had shingles laying all over the driveway and yard. Ryan got to the house and went up on the garage roof to do his inspection. When he was done he suggested I call my insurance company as there was a lot of damage and he said the house roof would probably have damage as well. Ryan gave us his written estimate for the job. I called the insurance company and they set a date to come out and look at the properties. Ryan came out the same day to meet with them. When He got to the house, Ryan went up on the rook and did an inspection. He gave me his written estimate to do the house roof. When the insurance claims adjuster got to the house, Ryan went up on the roofs and walked the properties with them. Ryan was right, the house roof and the gutters on both the house and garage were damaged. The claims adjuster went over their damage estimates which pretty much matched Ryan's. Ryan helped me with the type of replacement roof and explained to me the process in dealing with the insurance company We set up a time for the roof install. It took about two weeks for the roofing to be delivered and they started the install the next day. Ryan's crew was very good. They worked till dark and had the House roof done that day. They came back the next morning and did the garage. Ryan made several trips to the house to check on the work and to keep me informed of how things were going. The gutters were installed a couple of weeks later and they did a great job. I am waiting on the final check from the insurance company ... thanks to Ryan, this experience went very smoothly . Contracted several months in advance after obtaining estimates from several roofing firms. Salesman I dealt with left the company. A couple weeks before arranged date, I called the salesman after not hearing from him. He said he left the company and had company call me back. Work got scheduled as arranged. Most all of the work was completed in one day with work crew. Came back a couple days later to finish. Looked great except in a couple spots that I was told would need to settle a bit. A few months later all but one spot has settled.

I can't say enough about the quality of workmanship we received from Christian Brothers Roofing! The crew worked so hard - they were here before it was light out and stayed until it was too dark to see. The entire crew was professional, courteous and very respectful of our property. I was also very impressed with Scott (who prepared our estimate) and Ryan (the project manager). They both are extremely knowledgable, helpful, easy to get in touch with, honest, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. We couldn't be happier with our new roof and will recommend Christian Brothers Roofing time and time again!

I dreaded having to replace my roof, but Ryan made the whole process as painless as possible. He was very professional in his presentation of his company and explaining the materials and work to be done. The crew was very polite and worked hard. I had extensive landscaping on the property which they were careful to protect. The job was completed in 2 days pretty much hassle free. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof.

I was impressed with Ryan's excellent communication throughout the entire process. He was thorough and professional. It makes doing business so much smoother this way. These guys worked long and hard. The crew arrived very early on the morning scheduled and they worked literally until dark! We feel so much better about having the proper drainage on the roof now to prevent any future water damage. Ian was my sales person/project manager and did a good job explaining the process and providing a quick and competitive bid during the sales process. They were able to start the work within a week of the quote. A few communication issues as the project kicked off were ultimately resolved and the project finished successfully. Ian was on site multiple times a day and walked through the work each day with me. Overall, I am pleased with the final product.

Christian Brothers was one of three Angie's List companies that I invited to bid. The bid was competetive, but more importantly, I was very impressed with the professionalism of the project manager, Ryan, in preparing a very clear and detailed proposal with appropriate options. He did not try to up-sell me. However, he did take the time to point out some issues regarding our attic ventilation. He calculated square footage in the attic and the current ventilation area. He took the time to go inside the attic to inspect. This led to his suggestion that our problem with ice dams in the past might well be related the incorrect ventilation. Our other bidders did not check any of this. I researched Ryan's suggestion with several online sources that appeared to be credible, and they all agreed with his suggestions. The cost for the additional work, included in the total bid, was very reasonable. Ryan gave me an estimated date for the job. He ended up moving the date back one day due to weather and a crew issue. However, he kept me informed, and he arranged for a larger crew to get our job done just one day later than originally predicted. The job was completed in a single day, other than the gutters which were done on the next business day. Ryan supervised the job thoroughly. I visited multiple times during the day as well. The crew appeared very competent and took great care to protect our property. All of the work was done exactly per the bid proposal with no damage to our home. Ryan came out the day after the job was completed and spent about an hour inspecting and checking the cleanup. The final price exactly matched the bid. Overall, I am very pleased.

Ryan came out walked the roof and recorded the conditions in detail.. He also took many pictures. He used the information to prepare a detailed proposal. He then reviewed the proposal with both my wife and I. He used the photos to help demonstrate exactly what the new work would entail I am an Architect. His description was right on the mark as far as what I would have expected. He did not just talk to me, also talked to my wife which we both appreciate. He treated her as an intelligent client. Not something that always happens in the construction industry. We liked what saw,signed the proposal, and agreed on a start date about 2 weeks out. About a week later I got call from Ryan. He had discovered a conflict and asked if we could push the date, we agreed to that. As the new date approached, if became apparent that some substantial rain was headed our way. Again, Ryan called and we resecheduled. The thing to note here is he kept us informed and worked through conflicts with us. Keeping us informed was a great comfort to us and showed great professionalisn on Ryans part. Work started, Ryan was present throughout. Again, something that quite often does not happen in the roofing world. This is our 3rd time re-roofing a house. The person that sold us the roof on previous homes disappeared once the work started. The CBR crew was experienced and efficient. They worked hard and cleaned up at the end of the work day.They worked basically 12 hr days. Luis was the crew chief and he was there everyday, all day. Took about 3 days to complete. Worked happened with out incident, our landscaping and other property were properly protected . Work was professional and exceeded our expectations. When work was complete. Ryan walked the entire roof and took pictures. He then reviewed with us in detail. We were extremely happy with with we saw. Would also note their clean up was complete and thorough. We did not make our decision based on low bid. We based our decision on confidence in the contractor and our belief that the quality of work would be good. At the same time we were definitely cost conscious, We ended up with quality, professional work at a very, very fair price. Great experience and we love the roof, as much as one can love a roof.

Ryan came out and inspected the roof thoroughly! When he discussed the estimate with me, the details included were amazing to me. He included every piece of material that would be used down to nails on shingles, as well a pictures showing stages of the roofing process. The crew arrived during one of the hottest weeks of the year. This is the hardest working crew I have experienced in a long time. Ryan was at our property at LEAST twice a day to check on progress and even chipped in when needed! The crew was very personable, yet professional. Everyone went out of their way to get it done properly and as quickly as possible. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company! I will definitely use them again, if needed! I could not be happier with our choice of a roofing company.

Called for estimate to have my 17 year old house re-roofed and received multiple bids. Christian Brothers (Ryan) came out as scheduled. He took his time on the roof and made measurements. Ryan noted the existing drip edge was incorrect and they would install the correct size. I asked him multiple questions about my roof as I have a North facing Exposure and was concerned about the Ice and Water membrane. Additionally, a gutter downspout to be moved from draining on the driveway to the yard, and installation of a exhaust hood for my master bath that was only vented to the attic. Then concerns about installing metal into the roof valleys. Ryan took his time and answered all my questions. He left me with a detailed estimate and Brochures describing the manufacturers materials. I made a couple of phones calls to RYAN when i compared estimates, even after normal working hours, he was gracious and provided me the information I need to make a informed decision about selecting them to do the work. Once I made my decision to accept the Christian Brothers Bid, (although they were not the lowest, the big selling point was the 10 TEN year workmanship warranty) Ryan worked with me to schedule a day when I could be home and monitor the operation. The day prior to the work, the materials were delivered and the debris truck was positioned. The work started on time with a knock on the door from Ryan, whom oversaw the placement of outside furniture and removal of the old roof. Ryans' work crew were totally professional throughout the day even when the temperature reached 100 degrees. Ryan moved my downspout for me at no charge. My bathroom exhaust hood ( I purchased at Home Depot $24) was installed for me. The tear off was done in no time, and vent piping flanges, then new deck membrane installed, new ice and water shield, new drip edge went up quickly. The new Timberline shingles went up , new roof exhaust boxes, and finally the ridge cap. I would venture outside every 20-30 minutes and watch as a totally professional, dedicated team turned my old tired, stained and missing shingled roof into a "gem on the block" I never heard any profanity, nor did I see cigarette butts on the ground. I felt like my Home and Property were in good hands at all times. The crew noted some exterior trim had rotted on my Chimney, I provided the new material, and it was installed. Once the work was winding down, the crew began cleaning up. they walked thru neighbors yard to find small pieces of packaging that had blown away. A large wheeled magnet was run thru the yard several times to pick up loose nails. Upon departure, I walked the yard only to pick up a small amount of debris hidden in the flower bed amounting to 1 handful. MUCH BETTER than I had hoped for. Ryan made several trips to speak with me during the installation, to ensure that my concerns were addressed. I had spoken with Ryan since the installation and am extremely satisfied with Him, his Crew, and His Company as a whole. I waited thru a small and somewhat larger Rain event before posting this and as I had surmised...no leaks what-so-ever. I have already had neighbors inquire on who did my roof. They did a great job. They were all professional. They were good on the presentation of the job. We had a few other roofing companies come out and they were nothing like them. The price seemed to be real, real good. It was comparable with all the other people’s prices. We haven't had any rain to find out how good the quality was. They did a good and beautiful job. They did it all in two days. We would call them first if we had roof damage. We were able to use a coupon for $500.
