Ryan was completely honest with me and said that with the approval I had from my insurance company they could upgrade nearly every facet of my roof installation. He explained what they would be doing thoroughly and kept me appraised throughout the process. They installed a ridge vent system as well as replacing the large vents on the roof with soffet vents in combination with those ridge vents. The technicians were the hardest working group I have seen in roofing. They arrived on time every day and worked until the sun precluded them from finishing. A couple times they even had to use flashlights to clean up. The clean up was excellent my family and I had no concerns with roofing nails or debris. Speaking of roofing nails, Ryan told me that they placed many more nails in the shingles than is required, but I am not one to believe without verification. Every time I witnessed the application it was done just as Ryan said it would be. It looks fantastic and I have complete confidence in their work. If I ever need any work done that this company performs they will be my first and only call. I could not be more pleased. I was quite as pleased with the gutters, but the roofers spoiled me so much that it takes a lot to match up to their quality.

Ryan gave us quotes for repairing our roof as well as total roof replacement. He was extremely professional and let us know the pros and cons of each option and let us decide which route to take. We chose to repair the roof and the crew they sent was very good and professional. I thought it was going to be just a few hours worth of work but they were very thorough and were up there all day. Extremely satisfied with everything and everyone!

The job went smoothly from start to finish. I got 3 quotes for my project. Christian brothers was not the cheapest. The other providers climbed on my roof measured it, then handed me a quite. Not the same scenario with this outstanding company! Kevin Horstman was my company representative. He inspected the roof thoroughly. Then a very informative presentation was done, complete with samples of all materials used. It was extremely professional! The professionalism did not stop there. Javier was the crew leader. Alejandro and Jose are his crew mates. Wow! They are amazing!! These guys are skilled and it shows in every step of the process. Clean up after the job was excellent as well. Through out the process, Kevin dropped by to ensure all was going as expected. There is not one negative thing I could say about this company. A new roof should be provided by a professional. You will be hard pressed to find another provider who can match Christian Brothers. We have already booked them for another project. They will be adding new gutters and gutter guards soon.

The project manager (Ryan) impressed me at our initial meeting and was able to provide a bid on the spot. Given the scope of the work and the shingles I wanted, the price seemed reasonable. Work began 10 days after I signed the proposal, and took 2 1/2 days to complete, as estimated. Ryan was there first thing each morning, and also came by once or twice during the day. The crew appeared to work efficiently; I understand they have been together for a number of years. They took reasonable care to protect the house and surroundings from damage, and did a good job with the cleanup. At the end I had only a couple of minor items that needed to be addressed. Ryan was very professional throughout, and conveys the sense that Christian Brothers "has its act together." I chose Christian Brothers because of the large number of favorable Angie's List reviews, my initial impression from the first meeting, and their price. The finished job fulfilled my expectations, and I definitely recommend this company.

Our salesman, Braden Stringer was wonderful to work with. Jordan, our scheduler couldn't have been more helpful in keeping us up to date on when the materials would be delivered and when the work would begin. Even tho we were having a lot of rain, I swear Jordan must have some special insight on the weather. The rain stopped, the crew came, a new roof appeared, and the mess was cleaned up! It was amazing! Braden was on sight several times during the work and answered all our questions. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Very professional, very efficient. They accommodated a last minute demand by our buyers' lender to have roof replaced two weeks before scheduled closing on our house! There was some damage to window trims but repaired immediately and professionally as well.

I am very happy with the work that Christian Brothers did on our roof. We initially contacted them after experiencing some leaks in our ceiling. They responded quickly and sent out Braden to give us an estimate for a repair. After taking everything into consideration, we opted to replace the entire roof, rather than just go with the repair. Braden was great at providing additional information as needed and I appreciated the fact that he was easy to reach on either the phone or via email. They were able to complete the re-roof in a timely manner (given that is it January) and the roof looks great. They did an awesome job in cleaning up when they were done. thank you Christian Brothers and Braden!

The flat roof over a room at the back of our house had started to leak so I contacted four highly-rated roofers from Angie's List to inspect the roof and submit a proposal. The estimator from Christian Brothers (Ryan) was the most professional of the four. The proposal he provided was the most detailed and the cost for repair was very competitive. After accepting the proposal, the roof replacement was scheduled almost immediately. The work was completed by two men in one day. The old rubber membrane roof was removed, the existing skylights were removed (for reinstallation later), some decking was replaced, and a new white thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) membrane was installed. The installers heat-sealed the seams, rather than using glue, and installed new flashing around the perimeter of the roof. The skylights were reinstalled with new flashing and some other minor repairs were completed. The crew even replaced some cedar siding on an exterior wall adjoining the roof. It hasn't rained since the installation but the new roof looks very flat, smooth, and secure. A first-class job, in my opinion. I will definitely get a proposal from Christian Brothers when our main roof needs replacement in a few years. Highly recommended.

Ryan Horstmann was punctual with his appointment to bid the work. We took three bids and Christian Bros. was the best bid for the products offered. They were able to schedule the work fairly quickly and did a great job. Ryan was easy to communicate with and always responsive to my calls and/or texts. I would highly recommend them.

I got bids from several top rates providers. Ryan did the best job explaining what was going to be done and provided the best workmanship warranty. Their price was competitive with other providers, but provided better value with their standard 10 year workmanship warranty and optional gaf golden pledge warranty. Ryan was onsite each day with the roofing crew and kept us informed on what was going on and worked with inspectors and his crew to make sure everything was perfect. The work crew showed up early each day and worked until sundown. They made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. I would not hesitate to use Christian Brothers roofing again in the future.

We obtained several bids to replace our deteriorating shake shingle roof. Scott Horstman, the owner, gave us bids for both traditional asphalt shingles, and for the Decra stone coated steel roof. He explained the pros and cons of both options, and clearly knew what he was talking about. The Decra roof was more expensive, but so far, we are very glad with the results. His prices are not the lowest, but the quote was reasonable, and I do believe that he uses superior materials and doesn't cut corners. He pointed out an issue with a lack of sufficient soffit vents on our home, and gave us a drawing on where we needed to add a few more (and ultimately his people added the vents as part of this project). No deposit was required. We simply paid when the work was done. He set the date on the calendar, and they started on time that morning. His crew was pleasant and efficient. They protected our windows and our large fountain. Their dumpster was a trailer on wheels, so no scratches on our driveway. They worked from sunup to sundown everyday until the job was finished. The owner came by at least once a day to check on the progress. He found several small changes his crew needed to make, and these were small details that I expect many roofers would just let slide. The attention to detail was quite good. Our roof looks great, and no leaks with our recent heavy rains. They give a 10 year warranty on their installation, and I truly feel they will take care of any issues if they should arise. But I chose this company because I was confident in the quality of their installation, and I doubt I will ever have to call them for warranty issues.

We replaced our gutters and downspouts. Scott Horstman, the owner, went through the options. Instead of trying to upsell larger gutters, he recommend using the same size gutters, but larger downspouts than what we had. This seems to have been the right answer after watching the water flow during recent rains. His quote is not the cheapest, but he uses stronger fasteners than what I have seen with other installers, and I do think they will last longer. The planning and color choice process was easy. There was no deposit, we paid when the job was complete. They connected the gutters to our underground drains. I would recommend this company for both gutter and roofing work.

Material was staged neatly in stages, Shingles were delivered onto roof. Crew cleaned up each day and completed the roofing in a timely manner. I observed several hours of installation over 2 days. The crew followed recommended installation procedures for the system. Plastic cap nails on the underlayment. 6 nails per shingle, starter strips and ridge shingles. New skylights were custom size and required approx. 2 weeks for delivery. Crew installed during the weekend after arrival. Overall, I am very happy with the work done. The company communicated well during the course of the project and started and completed work on time. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Pricing was very competitive with other local companies. Received prompt responses to any questions. No substantial issues to date with the quality of work. Crew cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. Company was professional throughout.

Last month, I called Christian Brothers Roofing about having our roof/shingles replaced. I spoke with Mandy on one occasion, and Jennifer on another; both were pleasant and professional. We scheduled for Scott to come over to evaluate the roof and to provide an estimate. He was prompt/arrived as planned. Scott evaluated the roof on the outside and the upstairs ceilings from the inside. Throughout, he was very informative about materials and the project process, very knowledgeable and personable. Several proposals were provided; once I later selected a plan and submitted it, we scheduled the project's start. Work started and progressed as planned, with care to protect the home's other structures. Scott returned at the end to review the outcome with me and to finalize it. We've had a strong storm since the project completion, and the beautiful new roof withstood it properly. I would definitely use Christian Brothers Roofing again for future projects.

After requesting an inspection and quote, it took six hours for an "estimator" to return my call to make an appointment. After another two weeks between scheduling and the actual appointment, the inspection went well and the estimator was polite and explained our damages thoroughly. However, after waiting a week for my written estimate, I called the estimator and left a voicemail asking when I could expect our estimate. My call was not returned. I called again the next day and left the same message. Again, no return call. I finally called the main office and explained my issue, but stated I did not want to speak to the estimator at this point and did not want the quote. The estimator called within 20 minutes. If I can't get even get an actual quote, how would they ever perform repairs?

The estimate process was completely informative. Ryan gave us in-depth details of the work to be done and materials to be used and why. Always punctual, respectful and professional from everyone that we talked to from the company. Work started as planned and went fairly well, except we did have a fountain on our deck that was damaged when materials from the roof slid off and hit it, even though it was moved about 10 feet from the house. Christian Bros. readily agreed to pay for the cost of replacing the fountain with whatever we could find that was comparable and deducted about $200 from our bill to cover it. We were very happy with the way that was handled. After the work was completed, we noticed that one of the gutters stuck out too far beyond the edge of the house. Also, the gutter on the back of the house was substantially uneven looking. They promptly returned and remedied the issues. In the spring of 2015 during a particularly heavy rainstorm, we noticed that we had a leak about 5 inches in diameter on our front room ceiling. Alarming. Called Ryan and he came out within 45 minutes or so to check it out. He said that during the installation of one of two bathroom exhaust vents on the roof, his worker did not caulk the pre-drilled holes that he did not use for installation and that was where the leak originated. The roofer secured the vent, but did not use the factory-drilled holes that existed on the vent flange. Ryan caulked the unused holes. Fixed. Although the vents were ones that we supplied, Ryan said it would not be a problem to use them. He later told us that the vents were not ones that they had ever used before and the roofer installed it as they do other vents instead of using the pre-drilled holes. We think that the roofer should have known not to leave the pre-drilled holes open and uncaulked. Shortly after, probably within a week or two, the same thing with the other bathroom vent. Except this time, a new spot in the same room that was about a foot long and about 7 inches wide. Really ugly. Ryan came out promptly again and fixed the new leak. There was no mention or offer from Christian Bros. to compensate for the inside damage in any way. Also we have experienced severe overflow from the gutter across the back of the house, even though the new gutters are 2 inches wider than our old ones. I had to go out on the deck during a heavy rainstorm to rescue a plant that was being destroyed by all the excess overflow. As I write this, we are having to pay for someone to redo the damaged ceiling in the front room. The damage was very noticeable and unsightly and now costly, as well. Overall, the work and materials seemed good in quality, but there is no ignoring the leaks that are costing us extra money and extreme inconvenience for repairs--time off from work, house in disarray, and all the moving of furniture and messy clean-up. This is the third roof we've had on this house, and the only one that has leaked or had gutter problems. Regrettably, we would not use Christian Brothers again. We would not recommend them to anyone. I believe there was nothing but good intent, but their execution was unsatisfactory.

Third time is a charm! We had to have our roof replaced 7 years ago and chose another company to preform the work. We had made the wrong choice but what happened is too long to put in this review. Second time had roof replaced (2 years later) due to issues from the first time was done by another company that went out of business, surprise!!. We continued to have the same issue until I called Christian Brothers based upon ratings of Angie's List. Ryan the sales rep came to our home and identified the same issue as the 2 other companies had but actually gave us a solution rather than "Oh Well you have a problem". We agreed to the pricing and then scheduled the service. Christian Brothers actually called 2 days ahead of scheduled time to advise they were going to be late due to weather issues and requested that we change the date from a Friday to a Monday so that they could assure the job being completed without carry over the weekend. Surprise, they showed up on time, materials arrived as we were told and Ryan the sales rep came by to assure that all was going to be done properly. Outstanding job was done, on time, per bid quoted and followed up on with a smile. I would definitely use Christian Brothers Roofing again and recommend to others.

We really like them. It was really good, we really liked them. We just thought that they did a great job, they were here when they were supposed to be, they got it all done in one day and the roof looks really good since they did a good job.

I worked with Braden, who spent time explaining everything in easy to understand terms. I did call him a few times when qestions arose and he always returned my calls in a timely manner. The crew showed up on time and completed the work quickly. They rolled a magnet around the perimeter of my home to pick up any nails left. A few days later I did notice a couple small pieces of roofing in my yard, but as my new roof is green, it was almost undetected. Christian Brothers is not the cheapest compan y but they do quality work and I feel the roof will solve many water problems around my home for years to come. I also got new guttering and if interested, it is under Arrowhead Guttering I would recommend this company

Very polite, friendly, and punctual. Got an estimate the day I spoke to them, and got gutters replaced quickly. Crew was done in just over 2 hours. They hauled away old gutters.

We contacted this company when we were outside the area. They promptly inspected the house and gave us a very reasonable quote. We agreed to their price and they sent a contract stating exactly what they were going to do. Once we signed the contract, they completed the work almost immediately. This is a very professional company and one I would highly recommend.
