Certapro was extremely easy to work with and get scheduled. From first contact to finishing up was a few weeks. We have a hundred year old home and they scraped and sealed for more than a day. They replaced some broken fiber cement tiles, indistinguishable from the originals. Our main house color could not be matched, so they went and got 3 choices and painted them on the house for me to choose and it came out perfect. They maintained the job site well for 3 days and cleaned up extremely well. The care they take in covering and taping was well appreciated- especially my car when painting the shed. We are extremely pleased and would recommend Certapro to anyone wanting a top of the line job.

Your crew was extremely competent and very detailed in their taping and brush strokes. I don't believe there was one bit of over-paint on any trim or 'non paint' areas. Also pleasant to chat with. I was impressed that they informed us out the daily functions to accomplish to keep any surprises we might have experienced without knowing that game plan. All is good here and we will continue to be a repeat customer.

While I appreciate CertaPro's quick turnaround and willingness to accommodate my tight timeframe, I'm unfortunately left with significant dissatisfaction regarding the quality of the work completed on my home in June 2024. My previous experience with CertaPro 7 years ago was positive, earning a solid 4-star rating. This time, however, the service fell short of expectations. Scheduling and Timeline: Despite a confirmed date, the project was pushed back, delaying my home listing. While I understand unforeseen circumstances can arise, the initial promise of a 2-day completion turned into a 3-day project, adding further stress to an already demanding situation. Quality of Work: Interior: While the paintwork itself was acceptable, the drywall repair was subpar. I was promised the installation of trim, which I ended up having to do myself due to the crew's incomplete work. Cleaning: The cleanup was abysmal, leaving my home in a state of disarray. The crew used my personal vacuum cleaner to attempt a "half-assed" cleanup, resulting in extensive dust and dirt contamination. I spent hours cleaning up after them, even needing to hire a professional cleaning service for a full dust removal at an additional cost of $550. This was a significant inconvenience and expense, especially as I was preparing my home for real estate photography. Exterior: The exterior work was also uneven, with subpar caulking and paint splatters on the glass. I'll need to hire a handyman to rectify these issues, adding further financial burden. They left a bucket of paint brushes my real estate agent found on side of home. My hose was left in the middle of the yard and not put back. They removed the nozzle and left it on the lawn. Very poor attention to my home and not happy about the overal level of service. Overall: The contract explicitly stated a thorough cleanup, yet this wasn't delivered. The overall experience fell far short of the quality and professionalism I expect from a company like CertaPro. While I acknowledge the speed of the interior paint work, the shortcomings in drywall repair, cleanup, and exterior work significantly detract from the overall value. Moving Forward: I am giving this project a 2.5-star rating, reflecting the uneven quality of the work. While I appreciate the efforts to complete the project, the lack of attention to detail and the subsequent cleanup issues caused significant inconvenience and financial hardship. This experience has made me question whether I would use CertaPro again in the future, especially for drywall or caulking projects. It is essential for customers to have everything clearly documented in writing to avoid similar situations. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for CertaPro, encouraging them to address these issues and uphold the standards of quality and service that have previously defined their reputation.

CertaPro did a great job. They were responsive when I had concerns and the project was completed within the projected timeframe. The house looks amazing and I am very happy with the work they did. They were expensive but I'm pretty sure they weren't out of line with other companies. They were friendly, professional and did great work so I would definitely hire them again.

They were very professional and only took a couple of days to complete my home. They went thru color choices with us, etc., and walked us thru the outside of our house to make sure what color paint we wanted where, as well as what wood needed replacing due to rot. My neighbor also got a quote from them and went with a cheaper company, that took nearly 2 weeks of showing up off and on to work on their home. It looks okay, but that would have driven me crazy as I work from home. I didn't want the cheapest company, as there is always a reason why they can afford to be cheaper!

I was very pleased with the job CertaPro did. It was a custom job and the painters were very professional and I couldn't be happier with the results. I've had many compliments on how it looks and I will use them when I need another paint job performed.

Very smooth operation. They were forced to delay start due to longer than anticipated pool construction next door. They shifted other jobs to allow that to happen. Work was very good quality with an excellent team leader. A few repair issues were uncovered (dry rot) which were nicely repaired at a reasonable cost.

They did a fabulous job. The even replaced my outside lights and put new shutters up. We are very pleased with the finished project The crew that did our house were great to work with.

I went to the CertaPro website from my Angie's List account and completed the form for an estimate at my convenience, which was Thursday, June 4. Stephen the owner came out at my requested time and provided me with an irresistible estimate and a quick start date--the next day, Friday. Luis arrived at 8 on the dot that Friday morning, the 5th, to assess what all he had to do and set out to buy the paint. After he bought the paint (an hour later), he and his crew worked diligently and had the painting done the first day. The next day they measured and replaced baseboards. The downstairs looks great and I am happy with the work that Luis and his crew provided. I will definitely use CertaPro again.

Salesman arrived on time. Quote for entire interior painting job with some repair to walls was a little high, but fair. Salesman said he would have his "best crew" on the job. I told him when he left I had 2 more quotes to get and would get back to him either way the following week. I emailed the salesman (at the company email provided) the following week with a couple questions and to give them the job. We had told him we would pay cash for the job, and I wondered if there was a discount for cash money vs. credit card. As of today, June 1, 2015 I have not heard a word from the company or the salesman. No follow up call for the business if by chance my email was lost. NOTHING! Yes, I could have called them again, but why do I want to give my business to someone who does not answer emails or at the very least does not make a follow up call to solicit business. We still want to have the interior of our home painted but would appreciate finding a company that wants our business and will do a good job for us.

The salesperson who initially came out was very professional and likeable. He went over what I could expect before, during, and after the job. The after-the-job things never happened: I was supposed to receive a survey, and I was supposed to receive a six-month checkup, and I haven't heard anything at all from the company since the end of the job. I thought the price was high, but was okay with paying that much for their quality guarantee. We had a lot of initial scheduling problems -- TWO cancellations of the start date, on extremely short notice. I was really upset by this at the time, because I have to schedule my time off work in advance, and I also had other contractors working in my home and was trying to juggle all that. The job finally got started with Jerry Lewis as the lead painter and his team of two others. I was delighted with their professionalism, attention to detail, and their overall general personalities. They were all very competent and pleasant to be around. They also took great care to clean up at the end of each day. While the actual painting was beyond reproach, I was astonished that they didn't repair rough patches on the walls, remove curtain rods, or remove air registers. They were actually painting the registers. My only other experience with hiring indoor painters was several years ago, and they did all of that without me even asking them. I went around and started removing air registers myself. I asked Jerry if he would take down the drapery rods, and he did do so after I asked. The end result was a great-looking paint job. Despite a few bumps, I would hire CertaPro again -- but only if I can get Jerry Lewis as the lead on the project. I do have one additional bedroom and two baths I'd like to do, so I will call them at that time. However, I will make certain to go over things such as fixing rough patches, removing air registers, etc.

Steve Hamadi and a couple of other painting contractors provided bids on Thursday. On Friday I haired CertaPro Painters the work was completed by Sunday afternoon. The job could not have been done better or faster. This is an honest contractor who does what he says he'll do.

My house is over 100 yrs old. The owner himself got involved in the decision of brand and type of paint and primer to be used on the old wood for minimum peeling. They were very concerned in doing a good job. I was very impressed with the individual attention that my house and myself received. They made sure that all scrapings of the old paint was on tarps and cleaned up. Because it was an old house we had to be extra careful of the lead paint. They did a very neat and clean paint on the house. I am very pleased with the paint team and the company. I recommend them highly for any painting needs.

The sales pitch was excellent, with much promised. Among the things promised but not done was detailed wall preparation and priming of walls -- only cursory treatment was given the wall for prep (after wallpaper was removed) and only spot priming was done. The painter, though, each day reported what he had done and showed it to me, as was promised in the sales talk. No painters showed up on the day scheduled. Later in the afternoon, the painting contractor did arrive but said he was there to "see what kind of job he had." This was troublesome because it indicated to me he had not been given direction from the business owner, who did the initial consultation. The painter said he would return the following Monday, but his assistant would be the one who arrived at 8 in the morning. The assistant never showed; the contractor arrived after noon and was extremely apologetic. He started working that afternoon, but he had lost half the day. All the work was done within three and a half days. Places missed were pointed out and fixed, but there were other places the painter missed. He also left wet rags on a dresser in the bedroom that he forgot to clean up. The paint job was good, a strong B. Among my biggest complaints was with the office staff -- they were very slow to return calls that I placed. As of this writing, I am still awaiting a callback from the office to give my results of the job. My opinion was that they did not communicate very well with the painter before or during the process. Overall grade was a C but I would not use the company again.

They were done with the house in 3-4 days, the quality of work was great.

Crew was fine, lead was nice guy. Cost was pricier than alot of other painters (sure its just overhead that goes to CertaPro). Had a couple of discounts which helped. Once they got started they moved along pretty quick. No problems with anything.

It went very well. They are timely and competent. The quality of job was very well done. I would use them again.

Very poor. Provider had a sub contractor do the painting but thart contractor did not show up on days promised, didn't complete the work on time or as promised. Subcontractor was going to neighbors homes to solicit jobs away from provider and not attending to the job at hand. However, the provider did eventually get another painter to come in and finish the project but not without several calls from my husband and I.

They "finished" while I was still out of town and told my wife they couldn't leave without payment. I returned home and found that none of the repairs were complete. All sorts of trash and a utility razor knife was left in the yard where my children play. Paint drops everywhere (driveway, A/C unit, and mainly on a wood deck. Didn't caulk everything they said they would. Window with wood rot was to be repaired but was simply filled with foam. It doesn't open anymore. Another window with wood rot (that was to be repaired) was simply painted over. I scrapped paint off dozens of windows and had to finish painting trim on the front of the house myself. I did call before finishing the work myself. I called multiple times and received, "we'll be out to fix it. We want to make it right." Over all a horrible experience. I wouldn't trust Steven Hamadi or CertaPro with finger paints. Choose CertaPro if you want to work with liars.

Steve was running a bit late, but called to let me know, which I appreciated. He was very professional and went through the CertaPro processes with me. He fully explained everything they would do and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated the attention to details in his review of our home and his proposal. We ultimately decided to go with another company based on a referral from a friend. I feel certain that CertaPro would have done a fine job on our home.

It went well. We were very pleased. They did a good job. They cleaned up the mess. The walls look great and they were very courteous while doing the work. They were here on time in the morning and they left so we could eat supper. They were very nice to work with.
