A few months after work was finished, the roof had buckling. Several inspections revealed workmanship defects. The final city code inspection report stats "not approved." Brady & Co. (Brady) agreed to do only partial repairs. A complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) resulting in binding arbitration. The arbitrator's decision was "...because...the entire roof would need to be replaced..." the customer "is entitled to a refund..." Because Brady did not do that, the BBB revoked Brady's membership "...due to failure to honor an arbitrator's decision despite agreeing to do so." The complaint is unresolved because the "Company failed to meet the terms of an arbitrated decision in accordance with their BBB agreements." The BBB's action is posted on their web site, www.kansascity.bbb.org.

The contractor did not have the final city code inspections performed, as the contract required. The member did. The plumbing and electrical work did not pass the final city code inspection. The report states "not approved." The contractor did not correct the problems. The problems were corrected by the member without the contractor's help.
