If you need a pool expert who’s willing to teach you what to do in addition to offering services for just about anything pool related, contact Brad. He’s local to the metro, so easy to work with, friendly, and professional. A grade A example of what you’re looking for when you need someone to address something with your pool. If you follow his advise to T, you won’t have any problems with your pool. In 2017, we were pool novices and had no clue what to do with the darn thing. It was a hole in the yard with water to us. We contacted a popular and well-known service also in this area initially. They were overpriced and their crew was limited in what they could do and not willing to actually show you what you need to know as a pool owner. Plus, when we cancelled, they still showed up at my door and I had to tell them to leave and we would not be paying them for the trip as we had told them not to come out. No name dropping from me, but just trust me when I say contact Brad first. The first year we had our pool, it was so swampy green and foul smelling, you’d probably just want to run away. Brad came out to do our opening, gave us some pointers, replied to text message questions quickly, and helped us get our pool nice and pristine and open for season! We had him close our pool in 2017 as well with no issues opening it on our own in 2018. Our liner was old when we purchased our home, and it was time to replace it this year after a couple of holes appeared end of season last year. Chatted with Brad around closing and set a tentative schedule to install a new vinyl liner in our 18’x36’ in-ground pool. He was out mid-May to take measurements, show us samples of possible liners, and put in our order. Through no fault of his own, it took a few weeks for the liner to arrive, and it took him all of a day and a half to install it! Let me tell you, it’s gorgeous! He also change s out the sand in our filter because it, too, was ancient and just kept pumping into our pool because it was so broken down into fine particles. My pool is filling now, and of course, we’ll be having him back out for closing end of season. Brad’s got our business as long as he’s doing it and as long as we have a pool! Avoid those big corporations and hire him instead. I highly doubt you’ll have a single regret if you do. Just be sure to care for your pool as instructed if you don’t have him do it. Pools are finicky and it doesn’t take long for them to turn swampy green if not tended to properly! Pricing reflects cost to install vinyl liner in 18’x36’ pool with average depth of 4’11”, a few white parts, and a change of sand in the filter.
