Big Red Decorative Concrete

Beth was very responsive and knowledgable. We were lucky to get scheduled due to other's flood problems. The tiles were difficult and they did work hard to get everything up. Disappointed in the 'grind' marks in the concrete. We love the overall look, and the workers did their best to keep the area as clean as possible.

Everything went very well. They did a custom color and pattern that looks exactly as we envisioned.

They're wonderful. It was great. The floors are beautiful. They were very nice company to work with. I have nothing but praise for them. I just liked our first meeting with them. She was very knowledgeable and her husband does the work and he was very accommodating. They both took time to explain what to expect, what the process was going to be. I would use them again in the future.

It went very well. They did an excellent job. I'd give them an A in every category. They are prompt. They did what they said they were going to do.

Big Red replied quickly, met me at my house and provided me with an estimate within a day or two. (This was actually the second time I had them price this up - several years apart). Both times Beth came on site and was very professional and knowledgeable. They were not the cheapest price (I went with another Angie's List contractor) but comparing the quotes I think Big Red's proposal was more thorough. They were going to thicken the slab and add more rebar around where the hot tub would sit and they priced rebar vs wire mesh that the other contractor used. Also, the contractor I did end up using didn't excavate down as far as Big Red planned to do (with gravel base). If the difference in price wasn't so large I would have liked to have given them the job but we were able to save several thousand with someone else. The other contractor did a great job, I just get the impression that they cut a few corners in the process that Big Red would not have done.

They just seemed very honest about the job, what can be done and the product. They explained in detail how the product worked. It was a small operation and they gave their personal attention. They were real honest and forth coming with information. They did a good job. They were a little late but it's just that they didn't necessarily get back to us in a timely fashion.

We asked for an estimate for a decorative finish for a concrete slab in our livingroom. A representative came out the next day, explained our options thoroughly and was very knowledgeable about the process. However, we were supposed to get an estimate for the job the next day and have never heard back. That was three months ago.

The porch was in pretty bad shape and I was really happy with their work. They seemed to know what they were doing. Their price was very reasonable. Supposedly they used something very hard that will not cause me problems in the future. They did a beautiful job.
