Partick was quick to get out and do the estimate. We went with him after receiving both higher and lower bids, because he made an initial good, professional impression and his theory on leaving all the downspouts where they orginally were with an "if it isn't broke, don't fix it;" approach to the hydrology as it relates to the basement and foundation. I am so thankful that I had another set of ears and eyes with me who too wanted the best for the property, because when Patrick said he was done...there was one of the downspouts missing that we specifically discussed including the extension for. In other words, our discussion that lead to the estimate seemed to be forgotten and it was based on that inital conversation that he got the job. Honestly, it just may be that Patrick's memory is not so accurate, all the better reason to get your idea of what he recomends in writing. He has good intent and obviously wants to be a business owner. Concern grew when the job was not completed after their 3/4 day of work. Upon speaking to Patrick about when they might get back to finish the job, he said he had other jobs away from my neighborhood, and would not be able to come back for three or four days. My concern heightned and I reminded him of my patience after two changed dates of installations and understandably the illness of his number one man. He immediately turned to the defensive, claiming that it was only 10 days since I had signed and faxed the estimate. In reality it was 18 days. I had to really "press" to get the job completed two days later. His main man James, is the engine for this company and he really knows his stuff regarding housing exteriors. James is reason enough alone to use All-American Gutter, as long as you put in witing and even perhaps diagram what you agreeded upon during the estimate. Perhaps our experience could have been avoided if Partick had not canceled a review meeting, on site, of what was to be done the week before work began. James Little single handedly did all the gutter work, it looks great and I am eager to see how it holds in a good downpour. Oh, one more thing, he will expect to want to put his sign in your yard to advertise his services, but when I inquired to Patrick about the two foot extension that he said he was specifically returning to add two days later, he was obviously aggravated, and therefore wanted to charge me for it. Perhaps I should have charged him for the advertising sign in my yard for those three days? Seems like good gutters, but the 'pulling of the teeth' to get it done, as promised, was NOT easy!

I think that his prices are very reasonable. He is very reliable and does good work. I will continue to use him.

It went great. In March of 2007, our basement flooded and two "experts" recommended that we move a downspout back to where it had originally been located. Patrick came and moved it for free and added an extension to ensure the water is carried away from our house.

Very well. Patrick was very fair in pricing, and very conscientious about explaining to me why or why not various options for discouraging future downspout thieves might or might not work.
