Really honest. He told me exactly what I should and should not do. He told me to wait for the home inspection.

They came out the next week and said the roof was ok.

What has prompted me to write a review now is their follow through with excellent customer service since the roof was replaced. I have contacted them 3 times about minor issues over the years and they have always been responsive and promptly remedied the issue. Their customer service is incredible! They go above and beyond reasonable expectations.

Excellent service. Very professional. The crew arrived promptly, worked very quickly. They were very tidy and respectful to our property. The owner inspected everything personally and made sure all was complete and that we were happy with everything. We would definitely recommend them.

From the estimating process all the way through the finished product, I was more than pleased! I highly recommend Acord Roofing, they were honest and reliable. They made sure to treat my yard, plants, etc. like it was their own. Finished in a timely manner in order to beat the weather. Very nice people to deal with. We noticed and counted 21 bundles of shingles left when the crew said they were done. These were the higher priced "hail proof" shingles so we were very concerned having that many left over which Acord kept as part of the contract. Shortly after the crew had left another contractor was in our attic and noticed a rotten piece of sheathing he could stick his finger through. Acord had shingled right over the top of the rotten wood. I called and they responded by sending someone out who removed the shingles, replaced the sheathing and shingled over. The supervisor we spoke with was very nice and professional. When I suggested some type of a discount on the price due to this foul up he freely admitted had my contractor not seen the rotted wood we would have known nothing about it (true). To me, that was what made it bad! He said we pointed out an issue and they fixed it for no additional charge (as if I would have paid them more for covering up rotted wood). He said had we developed another leak in the future they would have repaired it. I said if we had a leak next summer they may well repair it but would have told us the rotted wood wasn't there when they replaced the shingles before or they would have noticed it. He had no argument, other than they stood behind their work. He also said I must be mistaken about 21 bundles being left over because they would never do that. My response, I never thought they would deliberately cover a piece of rotted wood either. In any case, I felt a discount was called for and did not receive one. If I am totally wrong please let me know but my opinion of great business is to under promise and over deliver. When I mentioned this the supervisor explained how he had "saved me" several hundred dollars by finding a math mistake HE made and removing it from the bill. If any of you reading this feel I am in the wrong please let me know. I paid the bill and I appreciate the fact Acord fit me in between jobs but I felt a discount should have been given due to the issues I mentioned here. Maybe I am just way out there in la-la land. Had they given a discount I would have given a glowing recommendation with one small glitch, as it is I am left with a bad taste in my mouth.

They did a great job----and at a reasonable price. Jared---is down to earth and knowledgeable, not to mention CUTE! : ) I would definitely use them again-----they were very honest and helpful. It took me forever to choose a roofer----and I'm glad I chose them.

They repaired a couple leaks in my roof on the spot. I used Acord before on another house and was pleased with the work they did so I called them for this house. They do good work fast and friendly.

I was impressed from the first phone call when a real person answered my call. Brian was here when my insurance agent inspected the roof. I had two other estimates and I believe they would have done a good job also but Brian went out of his way to help me. He explained everything thoroughly and helped me with color selection this was a great help. The work was done on time, professionally, everything was cleaned up as promised. Later when I had a question Brian arrived at the house to answer my question and assured me to call if anything came up. I would recommend Acord Roofing and will use them if and when I need help with roofing.

It was a pleasure to deal with Brian. He had done minor repairs to our existing roof. I had been impressed with our prior experience, so I did not hesitate to contact him when it was time to replace our roof. Brian was punctual, and very professional. He discussed our options and helped us select the best roof for our needs. I got prcining from other contactors, but Accord roofing had the best overall price. The crew showed up on the scheduled day on time. They worked non-stop, finished the work in two days, and cleaned up nicely afterwards. We love the new roof and would definitely recommend Accord Roofing to anyone looking to replace their roof.

Brian was able to come to my house within a day of asking for an estimate. His was my lowest bid. It took a little over a month for the project to start because of the high demand for roof repair in the Northland. The job was completed in one day, and the trailer with the debris was picked up the next morning. Great service!

I had used Acord once before for a small roof repair which was done well and at a very reasonable cost. So when my roof was all but gone after a severe storm I called them immediately that morning. There was storm damage all over the area but they were here that day and tarped the roof. They returned with a very reasonable estimate and re-roofed with a high quality shingle that has performed exceptionally well. Very, very pleased with the service and the roof.

We had used Acord Roofing about 2 years ago to do some roof repair and were very pleased with their service. We were needing further repairs this year due some recent storms and decided to replace our wood roof with a composite roof. We called Acord Roofing again and Jarod responded to my call very quickly. He always returned my calls in a timely manner if he wasn't immediately available by phone. He showed us a variety of options to choose from for the new roof and explained all the options in detail. The type of roofing we decided upon was not immediately available but Jarod kept us informed of the approximate shipping time from the manufacturer. When the materials did arrive, the roofing crew were very efficient and conscientious of our neighbor's and our property. They cleaned everything up at the end of each day (3 days total) to make sure no trash was left. Jarod came by frequently to check on the progress during the three days. The roof looks great and have had several comments from the neighbors as to the great job Acord Roofing did. Would recommend them to anyone needing repairs or roof replaced.

Went great. done in 1 1/2 days. Cleaned up perfect. Roof looks great!!!!!!!! one miner mishap but was fixed before roof was done.

Acord impressed me at every step. They started out by being on time for every appointment they made. The followed up with good recommendations for a quality installation, and quoted that installation at price that was better than cheaper installations. The installation was quick and clean. I would say that I'll use them again; but given the high quality installation, I doubt I'll need too.

I messaged them through Angie's List requesting an estimate for a new roof, gutters and gutter covers. I gave them a plethora of availability and my address. They messaged back asking for my phone number to contact me and I gave them my phone number but let them know I was better reached through email and would probably not get their call. He said they like to call before they come out (we hadn't even set up an appointment yet) and did I want them to just come over whenever and get back to me when they were done. I asked him why we couldn't set up an appointment through Angie's List or through email (didn't get an answer) and told him if we couldn't set it up that way, I'd have to contact someone else. I guess setting up an appointment online wasn't good enough for them. I realize this wouldn't be an issue for most people, but I still think it's beyond ridiculous.

I'd had a small repair done by this company previously which I felt was well done, and when they submitted a bid that was comparable to two companies who bid on the job last year, I chose them as soon as they submitted a bid. I asked that they might get the work done early -- at least before my roses began to bloom and they scheduled it promptly -- even before the daffodils came into bloom. The roofing crew worked quite diligently and I was surprised that they finished almost all the job in one day. The shingles look good and the crew was very thorough in going through the yard to pick up any nails. I had a couple of small concerns. Jared came over and touched up a place on the roof where the sealant was visible enough not to be attractive from my office window replacing the sealer and using some "touch-up" sprinkled with a bit of roof-like texture that blended it very nicely. The original crew came back today to move the roofing back a bit in a place where there was a small gap between the roof and the metal flashing over the bay window. Probably it wouldn't have affected the water resistance but it is just off my driveway so I see it frequently. They did a very nice job on this last part and the roof looks great. I don't know if I can belatedly add a Point of Honor nomination, but the company deserves it for this job. Well done!
