the technician showed up early which actually is kindof nice. I was squeezing things into minutes so it did not work in my favor today but that actually was nice. Frankly, I just think that this was over-priced and for 30 minutes of work I won't be contacting them again unless my house is falling apart. I totally understand that this is a communal service and this workman drove here from Grain Valley to provide this service for me. I felt so bad!!! It was just over the top from the get go. Really. Does it HAVE TO BE THIS HARD? I think not. My storm door works wonderfully and Webster did a GREAT job. I'm very please with what he did.

I cannot say enough about my experience early on in this process. I let them know up front that I was working on a strict budget and the amount of work I was hoping to get done. Not only did they give me advice on where to get cheaper materials, but also recommended that some of the work be done by other methods (and companies) in order for us to afford to get the entire remodel done. I cannot believe that they actually put us (the customer) first and what we wanted and not just their own profit. Also, on the second trip out to my house both the sales representative and the lead contractor offered much needed advice on what materials I would need and the pros and cons of each. This would have taken me days to research for myself. I got a good feeling from the moment I met David and the good feeling only improved upon meeting the contractor who would actually be doing the work. The remodel is scheduled for the next month or so and I will be returning to write another review once the work is complet, but if it goes anything like the initial process I have no worries whatsoever.

After a rocky start with the first contractor assigned, Dave and Blake stepped in to really get things taken care of and moved along. The quality, time and craftsmanship put in greatly exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased with the results.

He was excellent. He explained everything. I was very pleased. He got the work done within 1 hour, and I will use him again next month for a ceiling fan and doorbell. He even cleaned up behind himself. He was also very professional and friendly.

Really Really BAD !!! When adding the height it appears he used left over pressure treated decking material for part of the framing. It probably can't be painted. The old counter was 14 feet long. It was joined in the middle over the sink area. Not too visible on the seam. The new counter top was to be one piece. When he brought it in it was a 12' piece joined with a 2' piece at one end - with the seam at the work area. Very visible. One window is very close to the counter. The old counter top had had a small cut made to allow for the window frame. Very tightly cut and fit. When the new counter top was put in a cut was made for the counter top and splash guard but a 3/4" gap was left - Really looks bad. I am not a carpenter - but I could have made a better cut with a chain saw. My wife had to go the the hardware store several times to buy items. When the sink was installed it was higher than the old sink. Several extensions had to be added. Couldn't get a seal on the fittings, took caulking and smeared around the sink drain. In the future I probably wont be able to clean out a drain without replacing the whole assembly. The sink was to set on top of the counter and be sealed with silicone. It was moved several times and most of the silcone ? (caulk ?) was wiped away. The sink was not level and has open areas around the sides and really bad in the back, will leak in the future. Only option short of taking it out and starting over will be to use some silicone around the edges that will be visible. The dish washer itself was leaning out from the top. When I looked at the side seals it is really obvious that it is leaning out about an inch. To make matters worse there was an open area in the counter by the dish washer. The old one had a panel that covered that area. The new dish washer was wrapped with insulation to dampen noise or retain heat. Rather than get a wood panel and fill that area of the counter a piece of cardboard was placed there - very visible from the front of the dish washer. I looked at the dish washer manual and noted that there was a shim that was to be removed from the bottom before it was installed. I haven't checked yet, but am assuming this was not removed. I had build a very large spice rack with 5 dozen 4 ounce jars that is mounted to the wall adjacent to the counter. I had taken the time to conceal the screws holding it in place. It was taken down, and instead of finding the screws it was pulled from the wall. When re-installed the screws were not evenly spaced or concealed. One screw broke and a 1/4" jagged end was left sticking out. I will have to get a pair of vice grips or something to remove that later to keep from cutting my hand.

It was good. He was professional and courteous and takes plenty of time answering my questions and was able to give me a bid and seemed like it was a professional and reputable company. I would deal with them.

They were super nice guys. After the TV was hung, I could not get my PlayStation to work and one of the people from their company came over to my house and it really was not anything they instead of hooking it to like the HDMI 2 hooked it to HDMI 3, and it took up a lot of time to figure that out but they figured that out and it worked and it fixed it. They did not charge me anything extra and so I will have to say they were just outstanding. They did exactly what they said they would do and so I really would give them a great rating. I was super impressed that they came and helped me get my TV going and my PlayStation. I think their price for the service was outstanding; really reasonable. Regarding their responsiveness to my needs, I think they went the extra mile.

I made the appointment with Handyman Matters on a Wednesday and there was someone there the next day at the appointed time. He was polite and professional and completed the job within the hour. I was very pleased. Thank you guys!

They were very personable and responsive. They did a nice job with their repair.

They are very good, seems there were a couple that came out, one did some work outside, fostered outside, and there is work underneath the sink, there’s a couple of times they’ve used handyman matters. The prices were good. They did by the job and not by the hours. And if I added something else, he had time to go ahead and do that and that was good. He answered all of my questions.

The promised two -three week project took two months. Installer was obviously juggling several jobs along with ours. Repeated texting to reschedule daily start time became very annoying

They were great. He was very good. He knew what he was doing. He was a very personable and nice man.

I just called them to have someone come out and give me an estimate on a couple jobs I'd like done around my house. They want to charge me $40 just for them to come out. That's insane. I just started the handyman hunt but I don't hear often about me paying someone to come look at something THEY will make money off of.

They did a great job, were available on a timely basis, were flexible and were very pleasant to have around. The owner was very helpful, too. The only issue I brought up with the owner was some ambiguity in the bidding process, but he was very professional in discussing that with me. In the end, it was a quality, professional job, worth the money; and I would definitely hire them again.

Repaired screens. ?Can't remember date of service...I tried doing a survey previously but could not get to the bottom of the page in spite of scrolling down as far as I could.

Two men came over, as requested, and they moved it upstairs without unbolting it from the bottom of the packing crate. This meant there was less likely to be damage to the press, but it also made it heavier for the movers. Once upstairs, they got it securely bolted down and the guy even searched for screws that matched the finish on the press. They seemed to appreciate the old machine and were very conscientious in making sure it was handled with care.

I wanted my counter height kitchen table shortened down to 30 inches which is normal table height and this was done quickly and efficiently after . |I called them again shortly after that to have the kitchen fan/light over our island and chandelier over the table replaced. Jim had a little problem with the wiring of the fan/light over the kitchen island and we discovered that we could not turn on the fan without having to turn on all the kitchen lights. I called back and he promptly returned and corrected the problem.? All in all it was a positive experience and I would use their service again.

I am in the process of selling my home, and a home inspection noted that the deck needed a ledger board, the basement stairs needed an extra support on the top of the stairs, and the plywood around the furnace vent needed trimming away from the vent. I made an appointment for them to give me an estimate on 11/1/13. Trevor responded at the appointed time and quoted me a price that was about half of what a general contractor wanted. He was ready to do the work right then, but I had other commitments. I called him back later, and he said he would respond on 11/4/13 and do the work. He was running a little late on 11/4/13, but he did call and tell me was going to be a little late. He showed up, and built a support for the stairs and trimmed the wood around the furnace vent. He said that the deck did not need a ledger board and trying to install one would create more problems and compromise the safety of the deck. Trevor completed the work in about half the time he originally thought it would and charged me about half of what he originally quoted for the work.

We had a walk-in garage door that needed repair or replacement. After contacting this company, it was agreed that a new pre-hung door was the best option. I purchased the door at Lowes and this company picked it up on the day of service. The work and installation completed was excellent and professional. Every detail was covered. There was a misunderstanding on the original quote about service charges but a phone call after service corrected that. I am pleased with their service and would use them again. They also offer either an Angie's List coupon or Senior Discount.

We worked with Trevor on a total bathroom remodel. We were on a tight budget and we didn?t really know what we wanted as far as light fixtures, faucets, shower interior, etc. Trevor did an excellent explaining the different options available so we could make the best choice and made suggestions of things that we didn?t think of. He worked hard and was friendly and pleasant to work with. And the bathroom turned out fantastic! I just wish I had enough money to do my other bathroom now!

I called the company giving them my address and phone number and job needed doing, and they never called me back.
