Great. I only had a day to get this fixed in between travel. They fit me in even earlier in the day than they expected to. Chris was on time, worked fast, went shopping for the needed equipment and solved the problem in around 90 minutes. Excellent!

I contacted handyman matters of kansas city to apply some mortar to my foundation. They said no problem what day works and we agreed upon 3.00 PM Wednesday the 9th. They called me the day before to see if I could change the appointment to 9.00 am. I called them back to tell them no and that my wife would be leaving work early to make the 3.00 PM and to please confirm we are still good. She said yes absolutely. So 3.00 rolls around and they are a no show. At 3.30 we call and no answer. 4.00 call and no answer. Left a vm and no response. So I have now lost money with my wife leaving work and time with me trying to chase them down and now find another provider. Now it is 6.00 and no call.

The repair was okay. I am pretty unhappy with the staining. I wanted the provider to come and take a look at the deck and hopefully fix the issues. I sent him pictures of the deck and have not heard back from him.

There were two difference servicemen. Both men completed their service in a timely manner, they were on time, and very professional. I was extremely satisfied with their work.

He was prompt on arrival and we were impressed with his ideas. Weeks later I hadn't received a bid so I emailed him and he responded that he will have the bid within a few days but I still never received a bid. I went as far as to emailing him a few days ago asking for the bid and have never heard from him... It's been 5 weeks and nothing... very disappointing!

The owner and the staff answering the phone were professional. The man who came to our home to do the work came and left often throughout the day. My husband and I were at work but our 22 year old son was always in the home until one of us arrived. When our guests arrived and the job was not complete, I came home from work to speak with the workman. I spoke to him on the phone while driving home and he stated that he wanted me to know that he had drank one beer so if I smelled anything that was why. When I arrived at my home I stepped in the doorway of the small bathroom and the entire room was filled with the odor of beer. I asked my father-in-law to please stand over the workman until he left as I had clients waiting at my office. I called the owner of the company again and voiced my grievance. He assured he would come to our home the next day and speak with the workman to resolve the issue. When we next spoke he stated that he was not aware that his employee had been leaving my home to go work on his own rental properties during this assignment, that his company did not condone use of alcohol while working, and that he had repaired the problem I reported with the toilet (it rocked back and forth at least an inch when sat on). He stated he would find out from the workman why there was a spot of grout left un-dyed while the rest of it was mixed with the dye to match the tile. I never heard from the company again.......our guests were here for a week and the last time the company was in my home for this job was one day after they had left (after guaranteeing it would be complete before they arrived). Everyone I spoke to was friendly, but I would recommend not having this service provider trusted to complete any project or repairs in a timely, efficient, or safe manner.

Everyone was very friendly and if I had questions they were clearly explained. The job was approximately 2 weeks in length and they were very conscious of making sure that all areas were kept clean and a thick paper was put on all flooring to keep those areas from getting scratched. No issues were discovered during the demo thankfully, so things went very well from there. We've got a beautiful bathroom that we have thoroughly enjoyed. I will most certainly use them again!

This was a 6 hour job that was drawn out over 5 appointments spanning 3 weeks. The guy doing the job kept getting called to do other jobs the company had going on. He was nice but a little pesky. It felt as though they were stretching out the amount of hours for more money. I will never hire them again.

He came out told me what needed to be done and after that I haven't heard a word.

The service went well. One technician came out and completed the job in several days. They were prompt and courteous. They had a good skill set. The owner even came out to inspect the work to make sure I was satisfied. It was no problem to schedule their service ad they were very accommodating. They were neat in their work and great at cleaning up after themselves.

We had made the appointment for 8 am however at 8:30 I received a call from the contractor saying he did not realize the appointment time was for 8 am since appointments are usually scheduled for 9 am. He apologized and said he would be there at 9 am. He was very nice about it and he showed up at 9 am, maybe even a few minutes before. Once he looked everything over he decided the job would run more smoothly with a second person. That way, he knew the job could be finished in one day thereby ensuring I would not have to take another day off work. Also by having a second person, the total number of billed hours would be fewer because of the time that would be saved by not having to repeatedly crawl up into the attic and then go back down to the bathroom. Two people allowed one person to work up in the attic while the other stayed down in the bathroom. I very much appreciated that the worker took these things into consideration. They were super nice and helpful and told me what they would be doing. They protected the hardwood floors with drop cloths and cleaned up after themselves and just did a great job. The fan works really well and I am 100% percent satisfied with the service I received. I know people have indicated the cost for this group is high but their work ethic is great and that is hard to put a price on. After finishing the job the contractor even took two minutes to take a look at my bathroom sink because it was draining slowly. I had already cleaned out the p-trap so I knew that was clear. He raised the level of the stopper and it drains just a bit faster now. Awesome!

It was just one man. I did not actually need him. My husband did. He seemed to be very responsive and did great work. They were easy to contact as well. They were responsive to my e-mail. They e-mailed me and then, I called them. I have in fact used them again.

Handyman Matters contracts with individual handymen for the services provided. Webster was competent and knew what he was doing but did not inform of us days he would not be coming to the house. To be fair, my availability to discuss work with him varied as my work schedule changed during the time of the repairs. He was on time when a specific appointment was made.

I went online to inquire about getting an attic vent to be swapped out. The office responded within in 15min and told me that they had someone available that afternoon. Never in my mind did I ever think I could get a same-day turnaround on a project. Webster was great and turned out I didn't need a new vet screen just a good cleaning.

The representatives were punctual, professional and personable. The repairs were made within a reasonable time. I was pleased with the finished product;.

They came out to do an estimate, having confirmed by e-mail that they were coming and following up with a written summary of the quote. Just before the handyman, Webster, came, they sent a reminder that he was coming and told us to think about whether we wanted to have anything else done. When he got here, I had a couple of other things I needed done, but said we needed to stay within a limited budget, so whatever extra he could do had to be limited by affordability. He removed a large mirror, installed beadboard on fairly big sections of our dressing area, painted, hung new mirrors and did a few other things. One of the things we ended up most appreciating is that he very politely asked about the paint choices. When I finally realized he might be implying that the colors might be improved, I asked him. His recommendation was FAR better than our idea, and I told him to go ahead that way. He was pleasant to have around and a real craftsman. And he stayed within our budget. We'll use this company again as often as we can.

It was good. The finishing work was good. My impressions about dealing with them were excellent.
