Description of Work: Handyman Matters did sheetrock, trim and painting work in our finished basement after a sewer backup. Their work was excellent and the personnel were on time and very professional. This is the second time they have done work for us and we could not be happier.

Description of Work: The first carpenter sent to trim the bottom of three doors could not do the job by himself, so after doing one he left. We have not yet made arrangements to complete the work.

Description of Work: Work was performed on time as scheduled. Had to have them come back to redo some of it. The owner came back to redo the work. I feel they are expensive, but they do pretty good work. They do try hard to make the customer happy.

Description of Work: They moved 2 electrical outlet/switch boxes and a drain vent pipe, in an open wall in the kitchen, to allow for a larger window to be installed above the sink. Anthony showed up and accessed the problem the day after I called. He realized it was too much for him and arranged for a more experienced helper for the next day. Everything went smooth and they spent an hour and a half doing the work. I was thrilled as I needed it done fast! However, after further review, the wires weren't run inside the wall like I asked and the vent pipe had to be moved again because it was in the way, which I did myself. I had expressed my concerns to Anthony when he was working on it. However, both guys were nice and polite; but for the money, I think they should've done better. A licensed Plummer and Electrician would've been a better route to go and probably no more costly.

Description of Work: Did not show up for or call to reschedule the initial appointment to bid the job.

Description of Work: They put up a railing on a concrete porch in order to bring it into code. The railing was solid and well anchored. But when they first were ready to turn it over to me, the plastic cover on the metal was loose. I had to point it out to them. To their credit they fixed it promptly, but it was a pretty major oversight. Then the trim on the railing didn't fit and had huge gaps. They said it was the wrong part for the kit and told me I could fill in the gap with caulk. Which was true, and I did. And it will look fine for a few months. But really,... |So, they weren't dishonest, and they did everything I asked them to do. That's why the overall grade is Average = C. I think they can step up their game and be a real first rate crew, because what they do is really needed. I was just disappointed at having caught such flaws myself.

Description of Work: I have had two consultation's, one with the owner David and one with Webster the man that will be doing my work. Plus several e-mails and phone conversations. We are having our bathroom remodeled. I have been very pleased with my contact to date. They take the time needed to answer my questions and make suggestions. I appreciate their input. Our work is scheduled for later this month. I can say, they have been very patient with me. I have had a hard time choosing colors and materials.

Description of Work: Handyman Matters remodeled our master bathroom and did an excellent job. Their work and professionalism were top notch. We felt their price was a bit excessive but not out of line all things being considered. We would definitely use them for work we might need in the future.
