Mike came out to the house to give an estimate and was supposed to follow up, but I never heard from him. I called Handyman Matters and asked if someone could follow up, but mo one ever returned by calls. I don't know why it seems like this place doesn't wNt my business. I have called someone else. Very dissatisfied with HM.

We were very happy with them. They were not only nice, but also incredibly accommodating. In fact, I don’t have a single criticism. Mark and his wife were absolutely great. I’ve recommended their services to many, many people, and I will definitely work with them in again in the future.

The person I called sent him over the next day because he had a cancellation & I was close. I was very pleased with him and his work and I would recommend him highly.

They were very professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed with their service, but we decided to work with a company who wasn?t as expensive.

Their work turned out very well. I pleased with the estimate because it was accurate. Also, they were prompt with providing the estimate, and completing the work.

Excellent communication. Don called twice: 1) confirm appointment. 2) let me know he had been delayed. Arrived, reviewed and set about task. Completed the work as needed. Advised what I needed to do for finer finish when materials had dried. This was a Groupon event and I am very pleased at the outcome!

The work was fine, but $70 an hour is a little more than I can do for a price.

I was 100% satisfied. I noticed it was still leaking the next time I had some rain. I called them because it had a one year warranty. I told the girl that I would like to have that rechecked because it was leaking. I never heard back from the company so I just gave up. The guy who came out was punctual and friendly. I just wished they would have come out during that one year warranty.

They were here on time. I decided to go ahead and do the work myself. They were very nice and very professional. They called me back. They have their ducks in a row.

They are very reasonably priced more so than others that are trying to charge $14000 for a tiny room. They had a receptionist problem where she didn't hand over messages. They assured me she was replaced. They are coming again because we changed the specs.

The first time it was a great job. Everything done through Handyman matters was good.

Initially it went well with them showing up on time and doing most of the work promptly and well. I paid them after the first couple of weeks for the work done up to that time, which was about 95% of the work, and spoke with them about what was remaining. After that it took over a month of repeated phone calls and broken promises, to get them to complete the remaining 5%. The quality of the work was good when it was finally finished but getting them to finish the work was a frustrating process.

Excellent service and superb workmanship. Very satisfied with the replacement of our screens.

Called for estimate. Send they would send someone out to look at my job. Guy called back days later, wanting to know details of what I wanted (he hadn't been by yet). I was informed that he would have to call his boss to find out if they would have to charge me a "trip charge" . Website clearly states "Free Estimates". They never called me back.

He was clearly committed to doing a project that was quality and that would last, which means it took a little longer, but we also wanted to ensure that this would be a good, quality job. The floors look great...we were very pleased. I called on Wednesday and Don came out on Friday to do the work.

Extremely positive experience. I had expected to schedule an appointment several days into the future, but a service person was able to come that same morning. He was very courteous and professional and answered all of my questions patiently. I have already referred the company to two friends.

I thought it was odd that they charged by the hour. They wanted to charge me $70.00 an hour just for labor without a contract per se. The guy seemed fairly professional. He seemed to know what he was talking about. I have an old house and it has special needs when it comes to remodeling. Instead of taking that into account, he just thought about another job that he did and gave a book price for that and changed a couple of things. It seemed like he was trying to cut corners a little bit. We have plaster and lath walls and tile around them in the bathroom. We wanted the tile taken off and only replaced around the bathtub. We wanted to install new plumbing fixtures, but were keeping the bathtub, toilet, and sink. The job involved doing tile work and doing the walls. It didn't seem like he wanted to do it because plaster and lath walls require special care. He was there on time.

It went just fine! I will certainly use them again and recommend them to my friends! By the way, I only called yesterday and after one miscue, (I made an appointment for tomorrow which I couldn't keep) I was fitted in today, so it was all done in 24 hours. I'm VERY pleased.

My experience was good, but they were just a little too high. I would call them again.

This company never came or never called. The weather was stormy but did not hinder a call. But it was a misunderstanding. He did call later in the afternoon and he came and did the estimate. He was very patient and explained a lot of the supplies and materials needed.

I live in Maryland and contacted this company to help update a bathroom for a sister who has had worsening mobility issues this past year and needed bathroom safety equipment installed. The owners of this company were wonderful to work with and allowed me to mail materials to them directly for the job, and helped me order an appropriate ADA toilet from a KC area plumber. In the process of this job, I learned my sister has a medical condition which had worsened considerably and had created an unhealthy living environment for her. This is not something I could easily notice from 900 miles away! They treated her with dignity and kindness and put us in touch with a company who could help with cleanup and even went a step further and recommended other helpful aides. Most companies would have walked away from this situation and this company finished it with professionalism and with sincere care. I can't say enough good things about the owners of this franchise. The cost was a little more because the job had to be rescheduled to include additional cleanups but was worth every penny. I really feel that my sister now has a chance to live at home for awhile longer and a large part of it is thanks to them. Is there an Above and Beyond award on this site? If so, they deserve it.
