Able Appliance Repair

Description of Work: We had our garbage disposal replaced. I had called two other companies and received quotes at least $100-$150 Higher than Able charged. I did have to wait over a weekend, but only a minor inconvenience. People have told me I could have done it myself: buy a new unit from Ho-- De--- or Lo--s for about $175. I probably could have. But I did not have the time and having Able do it was well worth what we paid. Done perfectly, timely, and, well, DONE. Technician Rick was very professional, efficient and thorough. Thank you!

Description of Work: They helped on a refrigerator that was freezing and gave me a couple of options to approach it. The other was for a dryer repair. That was very efficient and only needed a belt.

Description of Work: Dishwasher Repair - Really good customer device and responsiveness. My dishwasher was leaking badly so I called Able. They sent a tech out- I believe his name was Doug. He was on time and knew exactly what the problem was. He ordered the part and back the next day. I'd use them again.

Description of Work: The washer was not repairable. I expected to pay much more for the service call, and will certainly use him again. He gave us recommendations of brands of washers to buy based on his repair experience, and this was very helpful.

Description of Work: Was amazed that I could call in the morning and receive an appointment the same day. My 20+ year old Maytag washer needed repair. Tim was excellent - professional, congenial, and customer focused. He consulted with a co-worker as it was an older model and got the machine back up and running quickly. Works perfectly and glad I found Able Appliance.

Description of Work: We have used Able several times. They are responsive, do great work and are professional.

Description of Work: Our stove locked during a self clean and would not unlock. We'd tried everything, so we called Able. Doug came out the next day and was able to get the stove open and functioning while we waited for a replacement lock which he had to order. They got the part in and installed it, everything is working great since. The appointments were not very specific, just morning or afternoon, but they gave a 30 minute call prior to showing up so I could head home. Both times they got there at noon or before noon. The work only took 45 minutes the first visit when he got the stove up and functioning. The second appt to install the replacement part only took 20 minutes.

Description of Work: Mark was terrific, coming the same day (within 5 hours) of the washing machine breaking and not going to the next cycle. The washing machine was in a very tight corner and Mark handled pulling out the machine. It didn't need a full repair since it started working after Mark opened it up. I appreciated his help and how he tested it fully before leaving.
