Description of Work: Tim was available early for the appointment, although I could not arrange to arrive home any sooner than the pre-arranged time. He was able to answer all of my questions and I felt him to be honest in his responses and recommendations. It was a positive contact, my washing machine works great again, and I have already recommended Able to a co-worker.

Description of Work: Charlie was the service person. He diagnosed the problem in minutes, made an appointment to come back and fix it when the part came in, and was very fast and professional. I highly recommend them. Oh, and he was very punctual and called in advance to give me the exact arrival time.

Description of Work: We couldn't get our dishwasher to start, it's a GE profile and was 10 days outside of the warranty. We called GE and they couldn't get to us for at least a week, and the service charge just to come out was around $100 plus labor and parts. We called Able and a tech came 2 days later. We thought we needed a new control panel that would cost about $500, but our tech persevered and figured out the dishwasher was stuck in a demo mode and that's why it wouldn't start. The service charge and labor was less than $130 and our tech was prompt and very courteous. We'd highly recommend Able!

The online request was never answered but when I called they had Tim come out the next day. He did a wonderful job and was extremely helpful! I will definitely call them when repairs are needed!! Description of Work: My gas oven was no longer working properly (not firing up and not staying on). I found Able Appliance Repair on Angie's list and gave them a call. They were able to send a technician out that day to take a look. Josh was on time, courteous and professional. He was able to quickly identify the problem and my options. I went with repair vs. replace and although Josh did not have the correct part on hand (the oven was 20+ years old and no longer made), he was able to order the part and schedule a return visit to complete the repair. The return visit went just as well - Josh was on time, courteous - he repaired the oven and was on his way. Thank you Josh! I will definitely use Able Appliance Repair in the future.

Description of Work: Called for a repair person to replace a drain hose on my dishwasher. They informed me that service call was $120 and then said they did not have anybody that could do that type of repair. They said a plumber could do that. My plumber had just left and said that they could not fix that and I would need an appliance repair person since the line was inside the dishwasher. I wonder who is "qualified" to fix this problem. I would have thought that an appliance repair person would do this kind of repair. I understand a plumber not wanting to get inside a dishwasher. Clerk answering the phone sounded kind of short, but it was a Monday.?
