Absolutely worthless
Description of Work: Nothing. We tried to get them to fix our LG washer. However, because we live north of the river, they had no technician to do the job. Instead of having trained technician from one of their other locations come out, I was told that they would not help. Of course, she gave me a lame excuse and a an equally unhelpful "apology", but in the end I was left with no help. Note: CUSTOMERS DON'T WANT EXCUSES OR WHINING; THEY WANT SERVICE. THEY DON'T CARE WHY YOU CAN'T HELP, THEY JUST WANT YOU TO DO WHAT YOU SAY YOU CAN DO.

Description of Work: My wife and I were visiting my daughter and family. While there we discovered that the refrigerator wasn't cooling correctly (50 degrees, rather than the setting of 35 degrees). I used Angies List to find Able Appliance. I called Vicki and she scheduled the service call for the next day. John and Derick called to say that they were on the way and they arrived within the time slot that we were given by Vicki. Once I described the issue they guessed the cause without having to even look at the refrigerator (bad ice sensor, so unit was not defrosting). They melted the ice by forcing the defrost cycle and by using a steamer. They replaced the sensor, cleaned the coils in the back, and modified the drains so that they would work more efficiently. Overall they did a great job and the refrigerator is back to working normally - holding the set temperature of 37 degrees. My daughter placed their magnetized business card on her refrig door and plans to call Able in the future for any appliance problems that may show up. Overall a very positive experience. I would recommend them to anyone in the Kansas City area.

Description of Work: We had a leak in our refrigerator, but it wasn't immediately obvious where the leak was coming from. Zach was fairly sure he knew the problem, but he took extra time to confirm that was really the problem so that he did not fix the wrong thing. He was very careful when he had to move the refrigerator and he did a great job explaining the problem.
