Service tech showed up as scheduled. Had a replacement ice maker on his truck and completed the call. Impressed with the promptness and courteous of the technician.

Called able with a refrigerator that was ice cold in the freezer and 65 degrees in the food storage area. A courteous person set me up with a service appointment on the same day. Rick, the serviceman called in advance and arrived on time. He diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate, and had the unit functioning in less than an hour. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional.

Came out the same day they were called and replaced the part. They explained what they fixed. Happy with the service.

This was only the 2nd time we used A-List. It came in super handy as our fridge stopped working. Able was at the top of the list so we called and within a few hours they were in our kitchen diagnosing the fridge needing a very expensive part to fix it. They charged us less than $10 when we would have been happy with more. Able's magnet number is now on our new fridge. We will definately use them again, but hopefully not too soon.

We got them from Angie's List. We use them because they come out quickly and they are very reasonable and they do honor your coupon. It was very ,very good. Most of the time they had the parts and if they did not, they ordered it and get them in very quickly. It was usually within the same week. We are really pleased with them. We would recommend them to other people.

I called Able appliance to setup an appointment for a refrigerator repair due to the decent reviews on Angie's List. I scheduled the appointment for a Saturday and they said they would be out between a 3 hour window. Once that window came and went I called them to see what was going on. They told me that they have been trying to call all morning and that I didn't answer so they weren't coming out. I told them that I didn't get the messages on my cell phone which can sometimes happen with technology. In fact, I didn't know that they would call before coming since no one told me that. I frankly thought that they would just show up in the allotted time frame. Needless to say, I didn't get the work done with Able. For one, the professionalism of the phone staff was not great. The women was argumentative with me and accused me for not answering the phone. If I had known that they were going to call to confirm before coming over, I would have had my phone by my side. Secondly, when I asked if it was still possible to get someone out to the house that day, she said that she would have the tech call me. The tech did call but hung up when I answered. I called him back and he acted confused as to why he just called and proceeded to tell me that he was in western Kansas. It was obvious that he didn't want to help us that day. Overall, it was a wasted day for us and had to schedule the repair with a different company which was much more pleasant.

Our refrigerator stopped cooling while the freezer worked just fine. They sent someone out the next day to check it out. The repairman was early, knew exactly what was wrong, had the part on his truck, and was finished in less than an hour. The control board had gone out and needed to be replaced. The man was very friendly and professional. We have not had to have many appliances serviced so I do not have any reference on price from other types of repairs.

Great - professional, great advice on all options.

In my first review I indicated that I wasn't convinced I got a fair price for this repair. Soon after the review was posted I received a phone call from the owner of Able Appliance repair who told me that she was very concerned about any review that wasn't favorable and that it was important to her to make sure I was personally satisfied and to keep me as a customer. I was pleased to get a call like that and it was refeshing to know that the owner of the company cared enough to take time out of her day to make sure I was fully satisfied. My concern was about the cost of the repairs, since it was done an on flat rate, rather than time and materials. The repair was completed so quickly, I wondered if I overpaid for labor. The owner explained to me that the person who worked on my refrigerator was highly skilled and very knowledgable about this particular product. Consequently, he was able to find the problem and fix the item quicker than someone else might have done it. She expained that their charges are based on the average cost for the time it takes to complete repair and that the diagnostics and repairs might have taken longer for someone else. I felt more comfortable after her explanation that I received a good value for the services I received. Even after assuring me that the charge was fair, she told me she would do whatever is necessary to resolve this. I am now extremely confortable with the value I received for the cost of the repairs and I'm fully satisfied. The repairman was a little late, so I still gave them only a "C" on puctuality, but he was knowledgable, efficient and pleasant. He had the part with him, based on my description of the problem, so the repair was completed in one trip and was done quickly. I would recommend Able to anyone.

The service technician was knowledgeable and performed the service to an above average level. On the down side, he was a little chanllenging in getting a time scheduled that worked for me. He was somewhat unprofessional in his behaviour, talking repeatedly about doomsday predictions wrt the current Syrian uprising/civil war current events. Finding out that my husband was retired military only encouraged him to continue this discussion. Small talk is one thing, but stick to the repair! I was uncomfortable.

My initial issue was that my washer was washing my clothes in hot water when the cold water temperature was selected. Also my washer was leaking water. It turned out that my hoses were connected wrong. Rick indicated that he could not find a leak and indicated that my washer probably was leaking water because my hoses were not connected correctly which is why there probably was a slight leak. He indicated that it would cost $170 to fix the leak and indicated that he did not find a leak. I really appreciated Rick's honesty because most people will tell you that there is a problem and take your money and fix an issue that didn't really need to be fixed. Rick connected my hose correctly and only charged my for the inital service call of $9.95. I would definitely recommend the use of Able Appliance Repair because of their honesty and them not trying to take your money and rip you off.

They were able to eventually fix the problem though.

Called around 8:00 in the morning and they had someone here by 10:30 to look at the refrigerator. Alan was very professional, took a look at it and already had an idea on what was the problem and the estimated cost of repairs. In an age where the decision to replace or repair is usually the first question, this was great informaiton to have. After digging in, he said that he had found several things that needed replaced and it was going to be in teh $400 range. He completed the whole process within 45 minutes, and it is back up and runnning. Thanks for a great experience and being very professional. Each decision on the parts was discussed and the reasons around why it needed to be replaced. I felt like I had a good understanding on what was going on and felt confident our refrigerator would be up and running in no time. The cost was a little more than we anticipated, but its still cheaper than buying new. As long as we can get another 3-4 years out of it, I think the decision to repair was the right one.

I called Able in the morning and the repairman arrived about three hours later. He was professional, personable, and polite. He explained the problem and the solution thoroughly. All my questions were answered. He had the necessary parts with him. The work was completed promptly and the problem was solved. The price was reasonable. I wouldn't have known about this company if I didn't use Angie's list. I was impressed that they made everything easy - quick response, skilled repairman, reasonable cost, parts in the truck. Able has a new customer - they will be my first call for other problems.

They were excellent. The little strips in my dryer had come unscrewed. It was partially coming apart. They had to take the whole front of the dryer off. He knew what it was right away. He found the little screws inside the dryer and screwed them back on.

When I called they were able to give me a service day within 2 days. The serviceman called to let us know he was on his way. He did come in the morning although we were scheduled for the afternoon, but fortunayely we were able to work that out because of the pre-call. He listened very carefully when I told him what the oven was doing and knew immediately what needed replaced. He was apologetic that the part was expensive, he had the part with him, he replaced and tested the oven in a matter of minutes. He was friendly and polite. It was an overall very satisfactory experience.

Went very well. On time and courteous. Very informative about cause of problem, and gave recommendation for another business who could provide this service. Overall very pleased.

The young man listened attentively to the problem we were having with our three year old Maytag Bravo top-loading washer. After careful checking and replicating the problem the bad news was that it was a circuit board problem which would require replacement at $400+. He said he would not recommend that since that is almost what we paid for it. I asked him what he recommended style and brand-wise for quality and durability. He said an LG front loader. We discussed why and I was more than satisfied with the results and that he only charged $10 for this. We doubled the amount with a tip and have followed his instructions. We will not hesitate to use them in the future.

Able arrived on time and suggested the most cost-effective solution. I will never call another firm for appliance repair.

Overall, you can't ask for better treatment with such professionalism.

They arrived at my house at the time expected,despite a very long detour due to road construction. He identified the problem within about 15 minutes, had the required part with him and fixed and tested the dryer within another 20 minutes. The price was very reasonable and the dryer has worked perfectly since then.

Technician was courteous and professional. He took extra time to answer questions we had about other appliances in the house. We plan to use Able in the future for our appliance maintenance and repairs.

I was extremely impressed with the competence, professionalism and courtesy of our repairman (Justin). From start to finish the troubleshooting and replacement of a thermal sensor along with the dishwasher check-valve took 45 minutes.The price options for the repair were carefully explained along with an explanation of what caused the breakdown in the first place. Pleasant and professional we were extremely pleased with the repair.

They came out on the 4th of July at no extra charge to look at the dryer. Unfortunately, he didn't have the part he needed. I had to prepay for the part and then had the choice of him coming back to fix it Thursday evening or Friday morning. I chose Friday morning. He came back as promised as did the repair. Very nice guy (Jeremy) and I haven't had any trouble with the dryer since.
