Tim came on time and got to the root of the problems quickly. Unfortunately the parts that had broken on the appliances cost more than they were worth, but that is exactly what I needed to find out, and I didn't have to pay a lot of money to get a diagnosis. Tim also gave me good advice on what to look for when buying replacements. I was very happy with Able, and would call them again!

The serviceman was obviously very knowledgeable about dishwashers and got to the root of the problem quickly. He was careful to not make a mess while he was working and left my kitchen in good shape. He also suggested that i switch from liquid dishwashing detergent to the solid blocks, as I was using too much detergent. All in all, i was pleased with the visit.

I called on a Thursday, and we had Derek out at our house on Monday. He was very friendly and worked quickly. The part we needed replaced had to be ordered, so he returned Wednesday to install. He even worked around my schedule. I will definitely be using Able Appliance Repair in the future.

I called on a Monday and they scheduled me for Wednesday after 12. Repairman was to call before he came. Derick Jones called and was here around 12. Derick worked with my husband and quickly identified the problem as he has seen it before. We thought it was a pump but he said it was a latch. Because he has seen this problem before, he had the part stocked on his truck. Derick was very straight forward and all business. He told my husband what the cost would be up front and how much time he would need. Derick made the repair quickly and left. He was here about 30 minutes total. 1. The company got me scheduled promptly. 2. The repairman called ahead of time and was also prompt. I didn't have to wait on him all day. 3. Derick was knowledgeable and professional. 4. The problem was resolved quickly as the part was on the truck. 5. The part was about $120 and the labor was about $120. We considered the labor cost to be high, particularly since we had an Angie's list coupon for a free service call. The $120 was for about 20 minutes of labor. I'm sure anywhere else this experience would have been less pleasant and cost as much or more. VERY PLEASED!

We called Able for a problem with our stove ignition. We were able to get a technician within one day of the call. The first gentleman spent time analyzing the problem and making calls on what he felt was a new part needed. Since our stovetop is about 12yrs old, the part would be very expensive, and after some discussion, he felt we would be better off with another technician who specializes in stovetops. He was available only a day or two later, came out, and quickly assessed and repaired the problem. I really appreciated everything about Able's service. In particular the first technician was so candid and concerned about our satisfaction, and didn't charge for the first service call. Also the stove is now working great for a minimal cost. I HIGHLY recommend Able.

The tech that came out was fabulous and I'd use them again in a heartbeat. He made sure to explain what the problems were on all of the appliances. He also gave us information on buying new appliances when we realized we'd have to buy a new washer and dryer.

Charlie called us several times to confirm when he would arrive. Very professional . Unfortunately , the part needed to repair is no longer available . We would definitely call Able Appliance again. They only charge $9.95 to come out!

Diagnosed issue with washer and provided approximate cost, advising purchase of new. Also, provided requested advice on brand to purchase.

I sent an e-mail on Saturday evening to set up an appointment to have my ice maker checked out. I received a quick response and by Sunday night, I had an appointment for Monday. Alan arrived at the scheduled time and looked at my ice maker issue. He initially thought that only a valve needed replacing. But, on closer inspection, saw that there was a plastic part broken on the ice maker that would prevent it from working reliably. He quickly replaced both the valve and the ice maker, and had me up and running in no time.

Fast response to service request and technician named Rick arrived promptly on time. Tested spin cycle control on Maytag washer and heard noise. Stuck hand under washer and pulled belt off washer motor, stating pulley on motor was stripped and complete new motor/pulley was required. Copied Maytag model number for washer and made a phone call to get price of new motor. Quoted new motor with labor would be $484.00. Rick stated this quote included a 10% discount. Rick also stated that if I wanted the repair I would need to give credit card to charge for part before ordering. While I was hearing all of this, he then told me that only one part (motor) was available and not to wait too long to decide. I did not accept quote charges. Called another appliance repair service who had authorized factory technicians for my brand washer, and they replaced new motor with pulley part $79.29 , labor $40.00. trip charge $55, TOTAL $174.29. I am appalled that I was quoted $484.00 by Able Appliance Repair to repair my washer, which is more than $400 labor to install a part that cost $79.29 and took 45 minutes to install !!!

Charlie was very friendly both when he called me approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving and when he got here. He explained everything that he was doing as he was doing it and answered any questions I had. He found and fixed the issue very quickly. He just made me enjoy his visit and was very personable in addition to knowledgeable.

Josh mentioned a few things that could have caused the trouble light, power outage etc., and said to call if the problem should reoccur--NO CHARGE! I love these guys!! It's the third time I have used them on different problems with appliances and will ALWAYS use them in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you

I called this company about 3 weeks ago to get a price quote to replace a rubber seal on my washer. The woman that answered said that she would have someone contact me to give me a quote. Did not get the courtesy of a call. Because of the reviews, I decided to give them another chance, knowing that things can fall thru the cracks. I called again about January 21st...same lady answered...same story. Someone will call you with a price. It has now been almost a week and no response. It's too big of a crack for things to fall thru. Their business must be so good that they do not need to follow up. I have found others to take care of my problem.

John called before arrival to verify our issue and ensure he had the necessary tools/parts with him. He was quite friendly and explained the problem to us prior to making the repair. We thought it was a bad heating element, but it was a burned out connector. Our oven is working great now and it is nice to eat fully cooked food again. Our only (minor) complaint was that we scheduled the service call for after 3 p.m. and it was closer to 7 p.m. when he arrived on Friday evening. However, the office did state "after 3 p.m." so we were aware he could be later. We are willing to wait for the best. Highly recommended.

Not quite as simple as it sounds. Food was cooking in the oven. A child pushed the oven's self-cleaning lever into the cleaning mode. An attempt was made to reverse the action but the safety mechanism would not allow the action. Too much pressure was applied and the cleaning lever was bent which kept the oven door locked with food still on the inside. After the oven & I both cooled down, Able was called. The tech arrived in a timely manner. Joshua was initially unable to release the locking mechanism and had to open the door by disengaging the hinges at the bottom of the oven. After the door was off of the oven he straighten the locking mechanism & reinstalled the door. A part was also needed to repair the door handle.The part was not available from the manufacturer. Joshua research e-bay, found the the part, and I was able to order it.

He came out and knew exactly what it was. He had the part with him and was able to fix it.

Our clothes washer had some interesting problems with cycle control functions like when you started a cycle, it would begin with a spinning cycle. Not sure where the problem was. Our very courteous and friendly service technician, Allen, came to our home on time, diagnosed the problem, retrieved the part he hand on hand in in truck and installed the part in lass than half an hour!! His knowledge of the issues was amazing and the fact that he had the needed complex part on hand made the repair even better. We have used Able before with similar excellent results for refrigerator repair. This is an excellent company and I recommend them highly!!

Josh came and asked what was wrong and then began to run a cycle. He quickly determined pump and motor needed repair. He went through cost of repair. He advised and we agreed that the dishwasher needed to be replaced. Then Josh began to educate us on what to look for when buying a new dishwasher. That educational time was worth the service call. Very pleased and helpful in many ways with the service. Also, I like workers who are clear and direct and move on. I don't like workers who chat on and on and don't leave. Josh got top notch ratings for that also.

Josh was great. Diagnosed the probable cause and gave me complete pricing information and a thorough explanation. Also provided information on the second most likely cause if the first option did not succeed. Returned in two business days, installed the part - success! I was given a time frame for both visits. Each day he called before the stated time and asked if he could come earlier. Yes, and very pleased not to be waiting. Able scheduled my service call 2 days after my first contact. My problem was that the touchpad would not allow us to enter cooking times, option changes or adjust from default temperature for the oven. Could cook anything at 325. Or use my counter top toaster oven. It was not an emergency, so this was not a problem for me. They were very responsive and I am comfortable that if it had been an emergency, they would have worked to accommodate me.

As a business owner, I wanted to find a locally-owned company to fix our leaking dishwasher. Able had great ratings, so I scheduled a service call for Wednesday, 11/18/2015. The technician arrived on time in his personal vehicle, and was nice and knowledgable. He examined our dishwasher and told us we would need a new motor assembly, but it would need to be ordered. Due to Thanksgiving being a few days away, there was a mixup on when the part would arrive and be installed. Although we weren't able to have a working dishwasher for Thanksgiving, the company offered us a discount for the mixup. All small and large companies make mistakes and drop the ball at times. But those who reach out to their customers and make things right are hard to find. We were taken care of in the end, and would recommend Able in the future.

Part was immediately ordered and installed a couple of days later. Technician, Josh Oldfield, called to reconfirm appointment and arrived exactly on time. Well trained and experienced technician. Installation went well. Dishwasher was tested before leaving. However, might just well be worth washing dishes by hand versus purchasing a Maytag. Used to be a great company.

I called Able this morning and it was able to send a service technician this afternoon. The project involved removing the freezer door, icemaker, freezer shelving and hardware, removing accumulated ice to free the drain opening. Rick checked and deemed it advisable to replace the plastic defroster switch with a superior bi-metal one. While the freezer compartment was dismantled I asked to have the icemaker replace since the current one was nearing the end of its service life. This was my first experience with Able and will called again for any appliance issues.. Rick was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.

The tech was very unfriendly. He came twice and still did not fix the issue. Also, while here he left every light on and every door he opened he left open...in the end my father in law finished the job. I was told a service manager would call me, that never happened...I could keep going but "long story short" I will not recommend them to anyone.
