There were a few little complaints from us from day to day, but I felt confident that the work was good work and my complaints were addressed , and on the whole, i was very grateful for their work.

I am very impressed with the attitude of the AB May manager, Chuck, with what was a very frustrating situation. He was polite, professional and very accommodating The end result was a very happy customer!.

The contract is worth every penny, they do great work.

They subbed it out to another company. On day of service, which I don't have the exact date in front of me - Nice person, but?? Late to the 8:00 appt. Said traffic was bad. Didn?t have his own ladder, (it was in Missouri) so asked me if I had one and if he could use it. Left ladder sitting upstairs when he was done. Said it wouldn?t be ideal for thermal, as outside temp was close to indoor temp. Didn?t clean up after himself. Fiberglass insulation was scattered on the floor and in the closet. Seemed more cursory than in-depth Gave me the form to fill out with energy costs Asked me how many light bulbs I had and what % that was, instead of checking himself Asked me if I had a carbon monoxide detector and where was it? Never checked it or verified. No appliances were looked at. (Not sure if they were supposed to have been) Walked around the outside of the house first, then came inside Been in the business about 1 year. Took a one week course for training. No other background in it prior. Again, he was a polite person and personable. These things came up due to questions I posed to him during the morning. Peeled back heat tape from the furnace flue, exposing a hole. Left it like that when he left. I only saw it because I went into the furnace room to put something away. Got the report later. Had another energy guy come over later. He asked me multiple questions to see if they had done this or that, none of which had been done. I learned more from him in 30 mins than what came from the paid-for audit. While some value was derived from the audit, it was a very disappointing experience, and one which I think reflected badly back on AB May.

They were very professional and knowledgeable. They came right away. They allowed options that would raise or lower the price. They offered different options on pricing and different units that would cost different prices. They tried to see what would fit my budget. They were not pushy and I definitely appreciated that. They provided a straightforward estimate for the cost and used no sales gimmicks. I was really pleased with them. I thought that if I wanted to go ahead and replace this unit, I would call them in the future.

They are great. They also came out 6 months ago and did a number of things in the house, but I can't remember what. I was out of town when they came by. My domestic partner took care of it. They replaced all the plumbing in my old house. It was all rusted and there was no water pressure. There was no water pressure in the kitchen whatsoever, which was ridiculous. There was also a spigot that I wanted fixed on the front of the house. They were good about following orders. They were dependable, friendly, trustworthy, and professional. They have the most reasonable charge. I did an estimate with 2 other companies and A B May came out the best. Their labor was not good, but their charges turned out good. They were wonderful and speedy. They just waited for me to call them and they were out the next day that I had off work. I was having a lot of problems with the plumbing and after they did the work, we sold the house 3 months later. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I was not here when they did the work. There was a minor repair in the toilet that they could have done but they did not have time for that. I would have paid them between $80 and $100 which I don't remember. They were responsive. They came out and fixed the issues. Their price was reasonable.

They are a wonderful company. They send good people out who are trustworthy and do good work. The people that come out are courteous and I will continue to use them.

Everything went fine. They came out on a Saturday afternoon, worked for a couple hours, and when they left it worked.

I had some issues with the pipes after sometime and I called them back. They came and looked at the issue and suggested that we get in touch with someone else. Their price was high for me. The outcome may or may not have been their fault. However, the "thumping" and banging noises in the plumbling started immediately after they installed the new faucett handle. I had something called a "regulator" replaced by another company, but that didn't help. So I have "ghosts" in my plumbing. I suspect that the shower handle should have been left alone, as it was behind a fiberglass shower/bath enclosure, and there was no way to get at it from behind. However, I really can't definitively say what/who caused the banging problem.

They came to repair it several times, and then finally had to order a new one. I pay them on a continuing contract, so didn't have to pay for the new ice maker.

We have an AB May home warranty. So, we are supposed to just pay $60 for each service call. We've had three issues they've been called for. One was a leaking LG dishwasher (only a couple of years old). It took them 4 visits before the dishwasher was fixed - it continued to leak each time they "fixed" it until the last visit. On one of those visits, the guy flooded our kitchen. The other issue was a broken toilet, which took two visits to fixed (luckily they were both on the same day, so it didn't drag out for weeks like the dishwasher). The gentleman fixing our toilet was pretty rude about the fact that we live in an older home (he called our toilet a "turd," which I found pretty unprofessional). The gentleman coming to fix the water pressure looked at the problem briefly, but was pretty clear he'd made up his mind about what the problem was before he even walked in the door based on the age of our home. He didn't do any work because what he decided was wrong with the water pressure was not covered under our home warranty (another plumber from AB May told us the reason for the low water pressure was something completely different, but still not covered under the warranty). Not recommended for work in older homes.

The service technician informed me that a coupon on the company's website could be used to reduce the cost by $20.00 which I printed out and used. The area was left clean. I have had no problems since the drain was cleaned,.

We give them a call anytime something is going wrong with the home and the quickly get someone out. They have their own repair people. They do plumbing, electrical, heating and air, as well as sewer work. The quality of the work has been excellent. It really cuts down on the stress when things go wrong. They offer 100% replacement, you just pay a flat rate of $60.00 for any service call. You just pay for your annual membership, they have different options to meet different price points. They have a number you can call 24 hours a day, and you tell them when you would like someone to come out. With the plan we chose we actually get a free A/C and furnace inspection.

After providing an estimate, they installed unit one week later. They arrived on time and within 8 hours had our new system up and running. Excellent installation and cleanup. The installers answered all my questions.

Excellent. The work was performed on time, professionally, and the plumber was a perfectionist. We ran into a couple of problems. The plumber explained those problems in a manner that I could understand, He explained all my options, and I made the final decision on how to proceed. I could not have asked for a better plumbing experience.

They did a good job. The personnel they sent out were very service oriented and used shoe covers and they were polite. They value their reputation and value their work to maintain repeat customers.

The technician provided the price before he started the work and informed me that I could use a $20.00 coupon on the company's website which I printed out to reduce the total price. The technican was professional and knew exactly what he was doing. He provided me with an explanation of the cause of the back-up. I have used this company before and have found their services reliable. I will use this compay again in the futire.

They were very thorough and a bit costly in price.

Punctuality was the only problem, as a plumber was scheduled to arrive on a Monday morning, but the scheduler called before noon to say they had numerous flooded basements from recent rains; they would make me a priority for the next day. The plumber actually showed up shortly after noon on Tuesday. The plumber was great! He was very professional, but also very friendly and helpful in answering questions and helping me with minor plumbing tasks. My dog and cats also liked him, which is unusual for a stranger. He worked far into the evening to get all the work done in one day. He also advised on work that probably didn't need doing, so saved me some money overall. A.B. May charges a fixed-price for each job, rather than an hourly rate. If the work is uncomplicated, you might be able to get it done cheaper. On the other hand, the customer knows up front just what each job will cost. Their price includes parts, labor, and tax, so there are no surprises at the end. I chose them because of their long-standing reputation in the area, and their ability to provide a plumber on short notice. In spite of the punctuality problem I would use them again to get a teriffic plumber like Travis; it was a pleasure to have him in our home.

It turned out fine. They made an evening appointment, and they got a part and came back to repair it on time. I was happy and would use them again.

They were great. They were professional and punctual. I would rate them highly.

It them an extra day to get the parts they needed. But, once they repaired the furnace, its working fine. They came and looked at it and did not come back until the next day as they had trouble getting the part they needed. They carry quite some parts with them but they didn?t have the part that they required as it is a very old furnace. They came back the next day and fixed it. They were quite responsive about getting back to me about why it was taking them long to get back. It was a pretty extensive work. In fact the furnace is working a little better than it was before.

We had a warranty service through them when we first bought the house. I have no idea what their charges were. I don't remember anything specific about them. They were fine. As it was a warranty service, I don't know that we even paid anything. They were punctual.

It has been a very positive experience. When I call them, sometimes a person comes out within the day. I'm on a contract where every call I make is a flat fee of $50. I had two air filters replaced downstairs. Their normal cost is $400, and I got charged $50.
