The techs Stan and Chris came exactly on time; did the work; explained the system repair needs including the extra work of replacing and drain line. They were well informed and conveyed to me what I needed to know to make decisions including calling in to get some advice they needed to answer my questions.

They were very helpful and with being on a budget helped with financing. They were professional and I would highly recommend them.

Daniel arrived right on time. He ran all the system checks. Cleaned system filters and changed those that needed changing. In addition, Daniel checked carbon monoxide detectors to make sure they were working. As always, he wore shoe covers to protect flooring. He was very knowledgeable and efficient and completed his job in a timely manner. We have a service plan with AB May, and wouldn't think of giving it up. Great company to work with!

Very smooth, although it took a few days to get the part, overall the service was great. Can't beat AB May's Gold Warranty program!

The technician identified the problem but was unable to repair the unit as it had been recalled by the manufacturer. He ordered the replacement part which was mailed directly to my residence within a few days. AB May called the day after the part arrived to schedule a visit for the following day. The technician arrived as scheduled and installed the new ice maker. Our warranty on the refrigerator had expired but it still only cost me $60 because I have a home owners agreement with AB May which covers appliances, saving me $250.

It went horribly. EVERY single person who came said the Home Warranty didn't cover the problem because of various contingencies in the contract. nothing was covered? weird. FURNACE: The work they did on the Furnace was embarrassing. I had other HVAC people come in and they were shocked at the low level of work and professionalism that was put into my furnace. I ended up paying another professional to repair the 'fix' that AB May had done. LARGE APPLIANCE: Our oven was not working when we moved in. They told me it was considered a pre-existing issue. It was going to take 8 weeks to repair. PLUMBING: Our sump pump was leaking when we moved in. They said this was pre-existing. The service is not done right, it's overpriced and the Home Warranty is a joke. I warn everyone I talk to not to use AB May. I have had several other professionals in my home over the last few months -- every one of them agrees that AB May is the lowest level of service you can find in the area.

A/C unit quit cooling the house. Luckily we are covered under AB May's Gold Service Agreement. When the initial technician came out, the system appeared to be functioning properly and it was assumed it was just a really hot day that was causing it to not cool properly. The next night the unit made a loud noise and quit working completely. On the second visit, the determined the compressor shorted out. They ordered the part, scheduled the service, and we had cool air back just in time for weekend heat wave. AB May is a company that does the right thing, uses the right parts, and stands behind their work. I will continue to use them for HVAC and plumbing needs.

Service technician arrived within one hours of our initial call to AB May. He was very professional and took steps to keep our house clean while he worked. The problem was diagnosed quickly and he explained what went wrong with the sump pump unit. He installed a new sump pump unit and explained the differences between the old pump/installation and the new pump/installation. He cleaned up the water on the basement floor that had accumulated when the old sump pump had failed. The billing process was completed and he arranged for the receipt to be emailed to me. He asked me to fill out an on-line survey and provided a card with his name and employee id # on it. I rate his service as excellent (very high quality).

They have a lot of contractors that they use. We've had a whole home contract with them for many years. They had this thing when we first started with them that if they couldn't fix it, they would replace it. They did, they replaced a washing machine because they couldn't fix it. Now, They alone will give you so much on that appliance as opposed to replacing the whole thing. They charge $60 a time to come out. The parts are free. I'm not sure if at some point, they wouldn't balance out because the contract is $85 a month for the contract they you pay them $60 when they come out but they do replace the parts for free. To me, if you have a large home like my husband and my self, it's just the two of us now and you have a lot of appliances, you have two water heaters, two air conditioners, two furnaces, it's worth every penny. I'm not sure for somebody who has a smaller home that it would work. That it would be worth the money for them. We have a gold contract. We are supposed to get preferential treatment but I wouldn't know if I did or not. Most of the time, it's within a day. They always call before they come and they give you a window of time. I think we never get a cranky one. They've all been very kind and respectful.

All repairs were made in the first trip. Mark was very professional and friendly. They even arrived 30 minutes before they were scheduled. A customer service rep called prior to them arriving to verify it was ok to arrive early.

Excellent service. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have a home warranty which includes an annual air conditioner and furnace maintenance. This year some items were found with the air conditioner that needed to be fixed outside the scope of the included annual visit. I had an HVAC technician come in and rebuild my duck work that comes out of the unit up and connects into the ceiling duck-work as well as replace a part in the external unit. He went above and beyond what I would expect for my $60.00 out of pocket. What a deal. So good to do business with a company that treats people well and gives them their monies worth. Kudos to to Mr. Chris Church, HVAC Technician.

Technician was knowledgeable, and completed the job quickly and well. All contacts with company were friendly and helpful.

We have a gold service agreement with AB May. We have used them for many years for hvac, electrical and plumbing repairs. This was a plumbing repair. I called on 6/20 to schedule the service. Whenever you call them you have to wait on hold for 5-10 minutes before someone will even answer the phone. You listen to a variety of recordings while on hold including one that asks you to input your call back number. I finally schedule the service for 6/22 with an 8am to noon window. At 11am we receive a call saying the plumber is delayed and won't be able to arrive before noon. I call them back--again, waiting on hold--to reschedule the appintment as I have conflicts in the afternoon. The customer service agent I spoke with finally decided after speaking with the dispatcher that a plumber would be at my home by noon. He arrived 10 minutes after noon, saying that he was late due to being unaware of road construction in the area that required a lengthy detour. However, he was able to complete installing a new disposer in 30 minutes, but when I arrived home after my appointments, I found the most DISGUSTING, MOLDY, NASTY mess in my non-disposer sink. YUCK YUCK YUCK!!! Update: On 6/23 Susan from AB May called me, and apologized for the mess left by the plumber. Refunded my service fee, as well as offered credit for future service.

Went great. Service was performed on time and on budget.

I had a new air conditioner and furnace installed last fall by AB May. The salesman I worked with was great and very knowledgeable. Install went well and there were a few issues after completion that were promptly addressed. Overall I was very happy with the experience, However, now that summer has truly hit the A/C unit is not working. It's mid June and I've been without air conditioning for over two days now and I am being told they will not know the status of the part required until Monday. It's Saturday morning. Unacceptable that this company does not keep repair parts in stock for the products they install or offer another option when one of their units goes down in the heat of summer. As it is I cannot allow my two month old to sleep in temperatures nearing 80 degrees in her room. So disappointed at this point in a purchase and service I was initially very satisfied with.

After inspection and adding coolant to my unit, Tanner was able to determine that the problem was a failed part that was under warranty with the manufacturer, along with another part that had been damaged as a result of the failed "king valve". He shut off the unit at the house, so that no further damage would be done. This allowed us to contact the original installer to finish correcting the problem.

I've met a few of their employees. All are very personable. I appreciate my options being explained to me..

Service man arrived on time and went right to work. Did a wonderful job servicing all 5 of our AC units including cleaning the coils. Explained what he did at the end of the service call.

They talked me into buying a regular inspection package which I now regret as I have an electric heater so there is not much maintenance involved. I was happy with their work but a little disappointed that I feel they took advantage of the situation. Lesson learned.

My technician, Robin, found a couple of issues which she discussed with me. Together we decided to correct the issues before they got the "problem" stage. I cannot say enough good things about Robin! If all service personnel were as knowledgeable and professional as she, life would be sweet indeed!

Good. They came out to inspect and clean HVAC system. Quoted $109. They found a failed capacitor on the compressor, showed me the failed capacitor, quoted the replacement cost, and performed the repair. They also offered a service plan for bi-annual check up on the system and advised of the age of my system as well as recommendation to replace the batteries in the thermostat. Because I purchased the service plan the $109 price was reduced and the capacitor replacement was reduced.

I've use them for about 7 years now via the gold agreement, they do good service but lately, I've been getting some crazy quotes from them. Just now they came out and want to install a new sump pump with battery backup for $2400 ?????? (original quote was for $2700 but gave me a credit for my old pump). I mean, this is quote is way out there...WAY out there. I checked online and the system runs for about $1000. AB may is a reputable company but I really feel like they were attempting to take advantage of me this time. So keep your eye on them with the quotes / pricing and definitely shop around.
