Joe L of AB May was outstanding. He pointed out the discrepancies in the faulty installation of the disposal he replaced and then recommended an installed a superior brand going beyond normal work expected.

Couldn’t have gone better!! My technician was very knowledgeable and efficient. He listened as I explained what had been going on with my a/c, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had my a/c up and running soon after. And, because I have a “gold” service contract with A.B. May, the entire repair only cost me $60.00! I felt bad because my basement was a mess, but my technician kindly shrugged it off and said, “I’ve seen everything!” He was friendly, answered all my questions, and non-judgmental about my messy basement!

We have had excellent technicians from AB May over the years, but we were pleased to have a female technician. It speaks well for the company and the opportunities they offer. Valerie was courteous, knowledgable, and thorough. She patiently worked with is setting a new schedule on our NEST thermostat (not an easy task with these two old folks!). We heartily recommend AB May in general, and our technician, Valerie, in particular.

We think our air conditioning heat pump was hit by lightening and fried our wires. A.B. May technician provided an excellent rapid response in the middle of a heat wave in Kansas City.

Work was done as promised and on time. Todd truly cared about the work he performed. AB May is our maintenance provider, however I did get other bids for this project. They were inline with what other plumbers were charging. They always put shoe covers on and clean up incredibly well.

It went very well. They used a camera to check on the main line then used different tools to clear the lines up. Also cleared up several floor drains on the ulitity room and garage.

I was able to schedule the appointment online. Joe came out Monday morning to look things over and provide an estimate. He was very nice and professional. Good handshake. He explained everything and answered all my questions. Said he'd be able to do the work the next day. The next day he showed up at the scheduled time, had everything he needed, and began working right away. He let me know when the water was shut off and as soon as it was turned on again. After all the work was completed he showed me where the main water shut off was installed. He showed me and explained how to adjust the water heater. The work area was cleaned up and the old water heater was hauled away. I am very pleased. Joe was awesome. I know I can always count on AB May.

Though I had fixed the initial issue I contacted them about, I still wanted to have my AC unit examined in case anything had been damaged while the issue was occurring. There was no problem changing from a service call to a maintenance call (but a small adjustment to the price). Jerry did find the capacitor was not giving his tester any reading, so he did replace that after showing me how the old and new one were registering on his meter. He also had information on A.B. May's service agreements and I signed up for their middle tier plan. Jerry did apply this on the spot which brought the price for this visit and the part down considerably. And as I had signed on to the plan, he also checked my furnace over and gave me some useful information on it. He did replace an old drain hose while he was there, which was apparently also covered under my new plan. Jerry himself was pleasant, thoroughly professional and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. I have used A.B. May a few times in the past and have never had a complaint about the company or any of the technicians that they've sent to help me. Jerry was another example of why I will continue to use them as my first contact for any appliance and home repair work.

Nick with AB May installed new air conditioning system. He arrived on time after calling, explained the process and completed the installation quickly. We are thrilled with the results!

Perfect on time performance, took the time to explain the process, reset my nest thermostat, blow out the over flow tube.. I have used AB May for over 20 years would not think of calling anyone else for HVAC, Electrical, plumbing, and major appliances, they have always been there and always professional

As planned, replaced main water line in home and replaced valves on gas stove. Had a great plumber Mike.
