Description of Work: Brian repaired our dryer . . . the ring that holds the drum in place broke. He had to order a new part . . . it was. special-delivered the next work day and he promptly scheduled a return visit. He did an excellent job of cleaning up after he worked.

Description of Work: Replaced a valve on my clothes washer. Went very well. Good service. Good price.

Description of Work: I have a service plan with AB May and have needed service a few times thru the years on different appliances, heating and air. This particular time he repaired my gas stove (wouldn't stay lit - right before Thanksgiving) and refrigerator (leaking from back panel). Very courteous, checked both completely. Parts were in within two days and completed repairs promptly. I will continue with AB May. Never been dissatisfied.

Description of Work: I was having problem with my heat pump that was still under warranty. I was told on the phone that someone would be there in the afternoon and there would be no charge. The repairman got here around 7pm and there was a charge for labor. I called the next day and the manager offered to sign me up for a better service plan which would be even more money. Needless to say, I declined his "generous" offer.

Description of Work: I had a partial power outage and called them to send a service person to correct the problem. I spoke with a very professional woman who suggested that my problem probably was a KCP&L outage that would require a reset. She told me if I didn't get results by calling KCP&L, to call her back and she would get a service person out to my home that afternoon. I really appreciated her helpfulness and the fact that she saved me a service call. I will call them again in the future.

Description of Work: This is only my second review after many years of being a member. My first was an A for a Landscaping co. I called ABMay to get rates and other pertinent info regarding their services. Someone whose name I repeated twice back to her (I think it was Jordan) answered. I kept trying to get prices and to find out how their service contracts were handled. At first she was very nice, however she didn't seem to have answers to some of my questions. I kept trying to find out what the cost of a maintenance visit was and if it included two furnances. She seemed extremely unsure of the answers she gave me.I couldn't even understand if the price included one or two furnance. Finally, after ten minutes I asked her to Please give me exactly what the cost of a maintenance visit was and everything that was included in it. She said, "I am not sure", would you hold for a moment. After holding for 3/1/2 Min. I hung up the phone. This was after being onthe line for a total of twelve minutres.She never returned to the line. And although she had my phone number, she never called me back.
