+ -1 moreIt’s a scam. They did get rid fo the beeds, but everything else was a scam. They ended up charging me 6 times what the going rate is. They were disorganized. It’s a bunch of young kids who show up in an unmarked white van and they don’t even have a legitimate address listed. They won’t take credit cards. It was a hassle to get them to come to follow up. No one should use them. They are horrible and I believe they are actually being investigated.
Description of Work: I called this company because they were the first in the phone book. I had them amount to remove some bees in my yard.

+ -1 moreThe bees were back in about a week. Abee's refused to come back out unless I paid them the same amount again! They insisted these couldn't be from the same hive. I said no thanks and called another company and finally got satisfactory results. By the way, Abees goes by several names, incl. Johnson Kill Creek, Budget Bee and others. Also, you might want to know they are under investigation by the Johnson County DA's office.
Description of Work: A bee hive and thousands of bees had taken up residence under the siding on the side of my house and some of the bees were getting into the house. I panicked and called the first company in the yellow pages - huge mistake! They came out to the house right away and sucked the bees out (or so they said) for this exorbitant amount.

+ -1 moreA week and a half later the bees were back. I called Abee's and they insisted it was a different swarm and they would have to charge me again. This time, esp. since the bees were not inside the house this time, I said no thanks and did a little research before calling anyone. (Abee's has no address and no website listed. My check was made out to simply "Johnson." - These things should have made me suspicious from the beginning). Finally, I called Critter Control - great company - see my report.
Description of Work: A swarm of bees took up residence in a wall of our house and about 1,000 of them got inside the house. This was discovered on a Saturday and in my panic, I called one of the first places listed in the Yellow Pages. Boy was that a mistake! Abee's came out and allegedly sucked all the bees out. (I vacuumed the dead/lethargic bees inside the house).
