 + -1 moreI've been looking for a reliable (HONEST) car repair place for a while, and when I saw a previous review for Sears Auto, I decided to try it. My brakes had been making a loud grinding noise, so I figured it was time to replace at least the pads. When the estimate came back saying I needed extra work and for such a huge price, I decided to look elsewhere. Glad I did! Another repair place in town inspected the rear cylinders inside and out and couldn't find a leak. He replaced my front rotors and pads, inspected and adjusted the rear brakes, all for less than half of what Sears was quoting me. I cannot stand dishonesty!!! I will never take any vehicle back to them, and I highly discourage anyone else from taking theirs there too.
Description of Work: Based on a previous review, I took my 02 Honda Civic to them to have the brakes checked. They said the right rear cylinder was leaking, and that the front pads needed replacing. They then said that the work would cost $470.

 + -1 moreThey were absolutely terrific. I took it in and thought I had a big problem and they told me there was nothing wrong, they tweaked something and didn't even charge me. Anytime you find a mechanic that will tell you don't have a problem is a good thing. I am very happy with them. I have already recommended them to several people.
