Estimate was lower than final bill and not all work was completed as discussed and left a mess. Paid upfront was first mistake. Paid half at start and then insisted on final payment prior to completion. Should have seen red flag there. Repeated phone calls not answered. Never showed up on days when they said they would be there. My husband took several days off work to meet with them to show what he wanted done and no one would show. On their behalf they had some days when the weather was bad, but not always the case. Basement now drains properly and entrance is nice on outside. Pleased with front porch as well. These were done by some one he hired. Left piles of dirt in driveway and loose materials for us to remove. Floor was braced satisfactorily, but looks very unprofessional. Electrical wiring to lights in basement not up to code. Porch light wiring went out shortly as well. Had to be redone. Windows agreed upon in first estimate to open for ventilation. Cheaper windows that do not open were installed. Metal used for porch and basement cover do not match rest of roof. We had the tile and materials on hand. He showed up while we were at work to "finish" this up. Tile is completely off center of the front door, the grout was put around tile without the hardener, so I had to vacuum the sand up and regrout as he would not answer calls. Why should he as was already paid?
Description of Work: Braced floor, replaced basement windows, tiled front entrance, roof over front porch, front door and drain for basement.

Awful. Worst experience I've ever had with a contractor in my life. Absolute amateur. -The guys that came didn't complete the job. They left streaks all over the cool-deck - there were discolorations all over the deck. Cracks were ignored. Patchwork was applied inconsiderately. Tape was applied to the pool and when it was removed it ripped off paint which was left tattered. -When the man's son came over he simply waned his money. He acted like he worked for the mafia - cursed at my mother, yelled at the other homeowners. Was completely unruly and inconsiderate, and just wanted his money. When we asked him to repair all of the mistakes, he lost it and started yelling again. -This was the owner's son, and he doesn't actually do concrete for a living, he says he is a police officer and he wants his money. This company doesn't use professionals, he uses amateurs with filthy mouths. This man already swindled this homeowner in the 1st place, charging over $6.30 a square foot to do a job that should cost $3-$4 a square foot, then it was compounded when he refused to fix all of the mistakes. Do yourself a favor and avoid this so-called 'contractor'.
