+ -1 moreThey are still not finished, when we started on July 20, 2011 Travis said it would be a couple of weeks maybe 2 1/2 weeks. that was two months ago. My 84 year old mother is retiring and we wanted to put her office things in the garage but even though Tammy and Travis said it would be done on time it still is not. My mother has had two hip replacement and uses a walker and a lift chair. So not only me a Joplin Tornado victim but my mother they are abusing. They continue to substitute inferior products for the ones we agreed for at first, they do not show up when they say the will, they live plywood out in the rain uncovered, they took my money and have not delivered the finished product.
Description of Work: Tammy and Travis Harris, owners of Harris Custom Homes took my money for materials. They want to substitute plexie glass for windows. It has been one excuse after another why they are not getting this done such as they had to move, that took two weeks,no electricity. So I borrowed my ex-husbands generator and for two weeks they still did not do anything. they were suppose to bring the generator back and they did not so I went to their house and left notes on their doors. They called and said they were coming to Joplin but needed the generator. They arrived after 3 pm in 100 degree weather and worked 2 1/2 hours. Then they were going to work but couldn't finally I got mad and said I was going to the special task force that was created for unscrupulous contractors of the Joplin Tornado and they said they would get it done in a weeks time. The week is almost up and they are no where finished. I will never use these lying procrastinate people again. They showup about a couple of hours a week. they live in Neosho, Mo. 64850.
