DO NOT HIRE GUNLOCK, specifically do not hire Caleb Gunlock. If possible, to give a lower rating, I would. There is a reason why They are rated so low with only a handful of ratings and only 1 being positive. They were paid to install and hook up an outdoor wood boiler. They came out and claimed to know what they were doing. Signed off on work. Now I am stuck with a outdoor wood boiler system that does not work. It does not heat either the shop or house. The OWB is working perfectly. They did not bleed the system. They fired up the system without checking their pipes. So my pumps ran dry for several hours due to their negligence Just not the parts they were hired to hook up and install. And to make it better my original heat that was working first is now not working. So, I am stuck with no heat with a wife and 2 under 5 kids. They agreed to complete work. Said they completed the work. Which they did not. When I approached them about making it correct Caleb told me to " MAKE MY DAY" This is the worst company I have ever hired. They said that all parts are included when they bid the job. Then tried to make me pay for adapters and argued about that. Caleb Gunlock is a spineless coward. Called me a liar to my face, and when confronted stumbled over his own words. Would not honor the agreement that was listed out on the invoice. caleb gunlock WILL NOT BE A MAN OF HIS WORD AND STAND BEHIND IT!!!! I now need to hire another company to fix what they messed up. I highly suggest someone else that has a better knowledge of how to properly do the work.

They did fine on the service end but they didn't follow up on ordering the parts very well. It took them three weeks they finally got serious about calling their supplier. That part was annoying and I can't really fault Gunlock because it wasn't on their end it was on the suppliers end. I think, frankly, I haven't been billed when they finally got the part in and they came out and fixed it they never charged me so I think their trying to make up for the delay. I haven't gotten a bill yet.
Description of Work: Heat pump was fixed and they had to buy some parts.

Did not go well. I tried to express concern that this many problems seemed unusual and something was not right. I was told this was due to the age of my unit. Checked this out. My unit is six years old. Read, a service visit customarily includes checking wiring, blade, cleaning etc. so asked this be done on second visit. I was told the workman didn't have the tools to clean the unit and unit was too old to be able to determine possible problems in future. Checked into cost of new unit, which is how I stumbled onto additional information regarding usual service process. When I called back to inquire why these things had not been done and why I was being charged again especially at a higher rate, before they even knew what the problem was and if perhaps it should have been avoided, was told they could not be held responsible for such an old unit. I then called home office. I was given a satisfactory responce. However local worker did not complete the service as promised. Decided to cut my losses. If quit working again I would as requested, call another company. It has been a month however and the unit is still working.
Description of Work: A/C quit. Called Co. Came out replaced motor, paid bill. Next weekend, quit again. Called on Monday. Took a couple of days, came back out. This time was wiring needed. Another $90.00. Next weekend, quit again, blade. But if wanted fixed on a weekend, would be at higher rate, (this is 100+ temp). Had previously asked they check unit out completely. Said "older unit couldn"t determine what might go out in future". Called head office. Said would send out, check unit out, clean and give list of any recommended care. Worker came fixed blade. Did not clean, did not give recommendation list and asked that I call someone else if work needed in future. I now believe, they replaced blade incorrectly on first visit which caused blade to fall and cut wires. Damage to blade when it fell caused blade to need replaced. Would never use again NOT recommended to anyone! However, they did not send a bill for final fix. Still working so far.
