Forrest Construction

We have lived in five (5) different homes in different cities and countries (Kansas City, St. Louis, Toronto, Webb City and Joplin). This builder is undoubtedly the worst builder we have ever encountered. We have had numerous complaints and issues reported. Bad plumbing, bad wiring, faulty construction. The last time that we reported an A/C problem, his team came in and suggested to do something against code. Given that our initial plumbing (in a brand new home) was used, it doesn't surprise me. We stopped communicating with them and hired a professional to do the job correctly, and within code. Every time we called for service there were huge delays in responses. On many occassions Nick indicated that his workers were to blame. One one occassion for troubles with the heating unit, he actually made the comment that it most have been lost in translation (for a non-English speaking worker)!!

Still, to this day (April 2010) Michael R Forrest, of Forrest Construction will not give us our deposit back. We have taken him to small claims court, and tried to garnish him, but nothing can be done. He refuses to pay. Poor business ethics.
